Went yesterday. Wait for food did not take very long and is brought to, your table. Beef hamburger was GREAT. Had it medium-it was much more pink than I expected but it tasted sublime. Very juicy… definately eat it over the plate. I am not usually a fan of ’ cheeseburgers’ but this combo of flavors was delicious. French fries were skinny and crisp-I ate every single one to my surprise. Regular hot coffee was mild and good and happily served in a real mug, not a ‘to go’ cup. Good meal for about $ 17. I didn’t go upstairs but saw a number of people head up there. If BFF still around I would try the veggie burger next time just to see… if I can keep myself from that great beef burger.

So I wasn’t thrilled with my visit: 1) very long wait(20+ minutes) 2) burger was supposed to be medium, was definitely closer to rare than even medium rare 3) I found a piece of a brillo pad in my fries :-| Not worth the almost $ 20 the meal cost.

Hands down one the best burgers I’ve ever ate in my entire life. I ordered mine medium rare where it was perfectly cooked with a warm center. You can tell it is not smashed which is something that I actually liked. It melts in your mouth the moment you take a bite, and I tell you one thing — nothing could be more delectable than this for a lunch. I added onion straws and bacon for add ons. They have a small up-charge, but certainly worth the buy. The fries were amazing. The blackboard said they were tripled cooked. Triple cooked sounds dangerous, but oh so good and they were bathed in seasonings. They’re fingerling fries as far as I can tell. I think the highlight of the meal was the housemade ketchup. Typically I am one who has hit and miss experiences for these types of things, but I truly enjoyed it. On the menu it is called tomato jam. It was not jammy though. It had a good balance of tastes. The whole meal honestly is huge flavor explosion. Well blended and hand crafted. Prices are reasonable. You’re looking at $ 12 base for a banging burger and add $ 2 will give you fries of your life. This is around the corner from Shake Shack, however, Shake Shack is NOT on the same level of product and quality of BFF. BFFHASTOBETHEBESTBURGERINDC. I can’t rave enough. You’re going to have a food baby once all is said and done. All worth it though. Completely all worth it.
