I’m sure this comes to no surprise to many but Hard Rock Café is not what it used to be. our waitress Naomi made no attempt to write anything down and got two plates wrong. Service was slow food was about on parr with school lunch, and it was a I don’t care attitude all night. $ 126 later plus a tip we left feeling very «used» I think would be the word. My fond memories, T-​shirts, sweatshirts are all a thing of the past. Keep your café, and I’ll keep my money.

We go here all the time. Our favorite bartenders are Lacey and Ricardo. The drinks are great. The food is pretty good too. The best thing about this bar is the atmosphere that the employees create… very warm and inviting. The staff feel more like friends!

Seated quickly. After that, all bad. Server did not show up to our table. After 10 min I complained. Turns out our waitress was the one I saw talking for 10 minutes. She was pleasant, but wanted to talk and tell her life story. I wasn’t there to hear it. Can’t remember her name, but she was pregnant. Food got cold waiting for her to bring a side back. Bad experience and not a clean restaurant.

We liked the location of this restaurant, right next to the next stop on our DC walking tour– Ford’s Theater. It was crowded but we did not have to wait at all for a table for 3. Our server was friendly. The food tasted great (Nachos appetizer, club sandwich wi/​fries) and we got very large portions, however our daughter ordered the fruit side with her kids meal, and they brought her french fries. She did love the cheeseburger. We wanted to make the 4:00 tour next door so we tracked down our server to pay the bill and she was not upset at all when we interrupted her entering another order into the computer. We would eat here again!

Besides the atmosphere I can’t say many positives about our experience here.
Was asked if we wanted dessert while in mid bite of dinner. Clearly they were only concerned about turning tables.
Had the BLT and only one slice of the bread was toasted.

Ok so we walked a long way to get here because of the variety of food they had. In the end I wasn’t too impressed. It was pricy, the bass on the music was turned up all the way. I’m ok with the loud music but what’s with the bass up? I don’t get it? They were playing music video’s on the screen that were inappropriate for minors! Shame on you! And when we requested a song, their iPad died??? My sandwich was suppose to be cold but was warm, bland tasting. But our waitress was very nice n polite!

Ugh, I was so disappointed in this place. They had reserved a part for 20 people that day but the chairs were completely empty for over an hour. Service was awful, they brought over the wrong meal AND drinks twice, the Bloody Mary was terrible and just an all around mess. We had to continually ask several waiters that were not covering ours for water, napkins and silverware. We were a table of 4 and they came out with our food at 2 forks. Ridiculous.
I don’t usually write these kinds of reviews but if you’re visiting DC, there are plenty of other options.

It was super crowded and busy. Wait 20 minutes to get a table. Not enough chefs in the kitchen we ended up wait 2 hours for our food, with only 2 people at our table. The waitress and manager were kind and gave us extra feee fries and half off our bill. Smelt pretty crappy by our table.

It smells like water trash in here. I’m sitting at the bar and this smell is wafting through the otherwise acceptable space I am in. It reminds me of old milk and old Brussel sprouts. Not great. I am glad I’m only hear for a beer… what is this smell?!? It’s getting worse every passing minute. I wish I could review other aspects of this place but the smell man, it’s the only thing worth mentioning. It’s brutal.

Just had the worst service ever… not to mention the whole restaurant smelled like vomit. Went in for dinner around 8 o’clock, got seated, and didn’t see a server for over 15 minutes. Eventually we just got up and left, and as we were leaving the hostesses didn’t even realize we were never helped…“bye have a good night!” Wow. Won’t be going back.

Service by Justin was great. Veggie leggie was amazing. Try the hot fudge brownie! Service was the best in DC! The General Manager, Travis, even brought out a special signed guitar to photo family with. Good job Hard Rock!

For a family of 7 (5 kids), this was a good choice. The staff was friendly. We ordered mostly hamburgers. They were all deliciously made. My daughter thought the fries were perfect! I had the chicken arugula salad, but it wasn’t the best. Tasty, but poorly executed. There was too much dressing (I know, a personal preference.) too many nuts cranberries and cheese. There wasn’t enough arugula at all. I should have sent it back, but after a 25 min. wait, I was hungry! Our server was very gregarious, which I’m sure helps her tips.
