Take out only but food was very good. Very small parking lot and if not careful can get blocked in by someone parking outside of stalls. Make sure order taker understands what you want as language is a barrier. Great taste and even with drawbacks worth going there for.

Well, what can I say, this place is sketchy!!! Deal with it, and order wings with fried rice, mambo sauce, & extra hot sauce. You will thank me. I used to live within walking distance and boy do I get CRAVINGS! Now that I’m married and about 13 miles away in suburbia, my husband will suggest a quick ride to SW to pickup a «picnic» and then go sit by the river to watch the sun set. Now, that’s what I call awesome.

I’ve only been here once. I had a bizarre craving for egg rolls and went here. When I walked in, it looked so disgusting that I almost walked out immediately. I also just don’t really eat cheap take out Chinese, so take that as you may. But I had to have egg rolls, so I just ordered two. No one else was there and it took 15 minutes, but it’s because they made individual egg rolls from what seemed to be from scratch, and they were really good. This place deserves an extra star(or maybe one less star) for being the only take out Chinese place I’ve seen that also sells a huge variety of tobacco products. TL;DR go here if you want egg rolls and cigarettes.

NEVERAGAIN!!! next time I will go down the street to McDonald’s at least I know what to expect there ######GROSS!!!

yummy mambo sauce and wings! If you are a DC native you know what I am talking about. This has always been my second choice carry-out, but now since China Wall has closed this is my go to for 2 things Cheeseburger sub w/mambo on the side salt n pepper on the fries or some chicken wings with mambo sauce and fries with salt n pepper on the side… I really haven’t tasted anything else… my mom likes the mixed veggies no msg(the veggies are always super fresh) I also like that the chicken and the fries aren’t super greasy either. I have also tried the cheesesteak sub and the cheesesteak eggroll… tasty but the cheeseburger sub with the mambo sauce to dip it in wins every time! You cant walk in here expecting fine dining but its def comfort food for every once in a while when you have a craving.

One of the reviews down below summed it up nicely, flavorless food. The eggroll I had was like eating wet cardboard, the chicken lo mein was only edible after I put some hot Thai pepper sauce in it. The only reason it gets two stars is that it’s right on my walk home from work and the halfway decent General Tso’s comes with a decent portion. Once I find something better in the area, this becomes desperation food.

This hole-in-a-wall was really a let down. The menu is a bizarre mix of Americanized Chinese(with faded photos from the 80s), hoagies, and chicken wings. Apparently they sell a lot of the latter, because I was the only person there ordering Chinese. They also sell Black and Milds in case you have a craving. This is a carryout-only establishment with nowhere to eat-in. The food was a real let down. The only reason why they get two stars instead of one is because the broccoli was fresh and crispy, and nothing was greasy. The reason why they barely deserve two stars is because there was no flavor in any of the dishes, and the meat was poor quality. They serve the worst fried rice I’ve ever had, and the beef in the lo mein was so fatty that it was inedible. The general tso’s chicken was barely marginal. While the portions were large, the flavor and quality was totally absent. Also, be prepared to encounter a few homeless addicts while you’re waiting for your order. While outside, one guy walked up and got within an inch of my face, and anticipating an attack and/or mugging, I gladly complied with his request for a sandwich. Interestingly, the woman with his crew later came up to me and apologized that her friend got in my face, even saying«that is no way to treat a person.» I thought that was very gracious of her.

This is a hole in the wall type of place, and with that said, the food was okay. This is a small little shop in an area that is in the middle of growing with lots of new construction and buildings going up and is not far from the Nationals stadium. I found the ordering system here to be a little confusing and more complicated than it needed to be. They have the standard picture board above the counter that you will find in pretty much every Chinese takeout place. They also had their paper menu taped to the wall, and then they also had some hand-written paper sheets taped to the wall with some of the same items and other items listed. It seemed like each of these different«menus» had different prices listed for the same item. Other than the initial confusion caused by the many menus they had though, the rest of the ordering process went just fine. I ordered the General Tso’s meal, which is what I usually get when I go to new Chinese places so I can compare it to what I’ve already had. Like I said, the food was okay. I’ve had better General Tso’s, but pretty much every place serves it a different way. Here they serve it on a bed of broccoli, which I’m not really that big of a fan of. It also came served with a box of white rice. I’m not sure if they have other options for the meal, but if they do, they didn’t ask me what options I wanted, so if you prefer your meal prepared or served a certain way, it’d probably just be best to ask them about it yourself. They also serve chicken wings here, but I have no idea how good they are. There aren’t many places to eat in this area near the stadium yet, and I’m hoping that more restaurants will open up with the new development. This isn’t a bad place to go though if you have a craving for some cheap Chinese food or some chicken wings.
