Georgetown September 11th Memorial Park

This is a very serene little park in close proximity to the Georgetown University main campus. There is one picnic bench and some trees and in the spring a lovely array of tulips.
The park, I believe, is a memorial to the victims of the September 11^th attacks who were employees at Georgetown University. It is certainly not the grandest memorial in the District, but for some reason, more than others, it really makes me remember the events of ⁹⁄₁₁.
The park is also a great place to eat lunch. There is sandwich shop/​bodega around the corner where I like to pick up food and then go sit in the park and eat.
