Third time I’ve visited him, but now at his new location on H St in the heart of Chinatown. He’s my go-​to guy for repairs because he obviously knows what he’s doing, and is quick and cheap. For yesterday’s repair he spent a half hour diagnosing the problem and then REFUSED PAYMENT. Wow.
Highly recommend.

I have been harassed for MONTHS by this shotty business owner. I do NOT want to trust my personal property to someone like this ever again. For the consumers of DC, I present to you a photo of my phone with air bubble at its smallest (the circle in the dead center), what you can’t really see is the months of accumulated dirt under the screen. Verizon won’t allow me to upgrade my phone due to the awful work and I am waiting to be able to purchase a new phone outright. You may try to save money with this business but it costs you headaches, harassment, and more money in the end.

Contacted them again plus 1 negative review did not make them contact me back. Stay away from this place unless you want cheap and fake chinese parts in your phone!!!

THEY LOST MY COMPUTER! Folks, if you come here– Do Not let your belongings out of your sight! If they tell you you can leave your phone and come back? No thanks. Leave something overnight? Fuggedaboutit!
I brought in an eee PC to get the battery charger port repaired. I came back to pick it up and they said they couldn’t fix it– BUMMER. But they said if I brought in an external hard drive they can put alllllll my documents/​pictures/​files on it. So I purchase one and bring it in. Come in again and bring my external hardrive home– it is empty. Nothing is on it. So I go back and just ask for my computer back. They say the guy that fixed it doesn’t work there anymore and they don’t know where it is! Seriously? I came back another time thinking maybe it would’ve turned up. There was a manager (?) there who said «Oh yeah I remember working on that, I’ll look for it.» I left my card with him. Never received a phone call or email. No apologies or compensation. I guess all my pictures from living abroad that year are lost forever.
TL:DR: Couldn’t fix my computer, gave me back an empty external hardrive I purchased and brought them to recover files, lost my computer and blamed it on a guy who longer works there. Terrible all around. DO NOT GO HERE.

BEWARE, DO NOT GO HERE! I know it seems great that they will fix your screen for $ 60 or $ 80 or however much they decide they are charging on that day but they ruined my phone. I have taken it back to them several time but ever time they «fix» it, I walk away with a new problem. First the phone won’t boot up, then I lost all the data on my phone, now the audio doesn’t work on calls. I have been without a working phone for 3 weeks already. I am now on vacation and my phone won’t work AGAIN. I won’t be able to take it back to them for 2 weeks. With everything in me I wish I had paid full price at apple to have it fixed. TO add insult to injury the screen replacement is shoddy. The screen is raised from the phone on one side so I can slide my fingernail between the phone and the screen, and dust and dirt are accumulating there. Do yourself a favor and take your phone to an apple store instead!!! Everyday I regret taking my phone here.

I went here to get my phone fixed and kinda got lost in the process but I walked in surprised to see one person running the show. I showed the guy my phone and told me that it would me $ 120 and that it would be ready in 30 min and that I could pay for his services after the job was completed. The reason why I gave the establishment 4 stars was because he seem irritated just a little. I work in a food/​restaurant industry and customer satisfaction is always key to a successful business no matter what. Cheer up or just fake it. Other than that I was very satisfied and would recommend others to come here.

Service was fast and very inexpensive. I brought my iPhone 5 in to have the battery replaced, and it was fixed in less than 10 minutes. Location is also very convenient, however it’s really small and not very appealing

This spot is actually in a pretty busy intersection but it’s hard to spot.
So I’ll just say it’s next to Benjamin Moore Paint.
You walk in to this small office space and you’ll be greeted
with the techs who run the place.
Very simple set up and they pretty much fix the phone right in front of you
if you care to wait. Fair prices and they are up front with you on what
to expect. Reason why I am taking away a star is because they accept cash
only. At this point, even lemonade stands are accepting credit cards :)

Went in here today and got my S4 screen fixed, didnt take them long at all to do. Price was VERY reasonable. The location is very small and the staff was very knowledgable about what they were doing. Will definitely recommend.

I’m from out of town and busted my iPhone 5 screen while here in DC. Took a short trip over to this very nondescript building on the SW corner of 6^th and K NW. 30 minutes and right at $ 100, these fellas replaced my screen; it looks perfect and functions exactly as it should. They take cash only, so be sure to bring it. However, if you forget there is a Capitol One ATM less than a block away by the Chipotle.

Insert usual story about phone glass being cracked and being bummed about it. Looked around for a place to replace the glass. Found this place on Unilocal.My boyfriend called ahead and received a price quote of $ 100 for replacing the glass on his Samsung Galaxy 3. Unfortunately, since (unbeknownst to us) it was a refurbished phone, the replacement process took longer. We still paid the quoted price and they stayed open later on a Friday night to accommodate us. The phone worked perfectly after and my boyfriend is pleased with the quality of his phone repair. The guy we interacted with was really nice and gave us continual updates on the status of the repair.
The location is diagonal from Busboys and Poets. It’s on the same side of the street as the liquor and paint store. Next to the paint store you’ll see what looks like a small parking lot. Head to the unmarked brown storefront with glass door. It looks like they moved from the small, recessed storefront to the one closer to the sidewalk. Just head in and ask about their repair services.
If you have to wait for a phone repair, it is a nice place to be. Lots of benches in the area, plus Chipotle, Ace Hardware, Safeway (with Starbucks inside), etc. You can relax or get some errands done.

They fixed my iphone 4S screen last Aug. Good price and only took 25 min. Little tricky to find but def recommend it if you live in DC. I told my friend about the place and she just went last week also and they fixed her 5s iphone she said it worked out perfect.

The guy here fixed a phone for me while I waited, took only a half hour or so. Work was done well with good parts.
I usually do my own repairs, but I got bad parts of eBay and was in a time crunch. They were able to sell me the part, and do the install for cheaper than the part alone would have cost from a reputable online iPhone parts dealer.

I’ve been going to this place for a few years now, and I always get great results. The technicians are friendly, no BS, and get your repair done quickly and for an agreed-​upon, reasonable price. They can usually fix it while you wait. Having gone there several times, I’ve noticed they offer discounts to repeat customers and remember my face, and even gave me a free case after I smashed my phone to an impressive degree and paid them to fix it. I think it’s a family business of sorts, which is reflected in their customer service.

I am a relative smart phone newbie, holding out for so long because I just couldn’t seem to justify the increase in monthly charges, not to mention the phone itself. Well, for the past 7 months I’ve been oh-​so-​careful with my lovely little iPhone 5C, until earlier this week. I was leaving the post office in a hurry to make an appointment with my daughter, and was checking the time on my phone. As I went to slip it into my stroller phone-​holder, it slipped out of my fingers and BAM! — onto the brick sidewalk it fell. Face down. Ughhhh. Completely. Shattered. Screen.
An expensive repair was not something I wanted (nor did my bank account, ha), but I had to get it fixed. I called SEVERAL places in DC, and was appalled by the consistent $ 150 price tag for a screen fix. But then I found Enstech, whose prices are way more reasonable than everywhere else!
Enstech is the kind of place you might walk by a million times (I sure have!) and never pay attention to. Nothing fancy about the building, but that’s not what matters. Jonathan, the tech who fixed me phone, and Jeremy, the owner, were both SO friendly and helpful and sympathetic. Jonathan fixed by phone in a jiffy and it is as good as new.
Cash only and they don’t open until 11 am. Convenient location inbetween the Mt. Vernon Square and Chinatown metro stops (just west one block from Busboys and Poets).
I hope I never NEED to go to Enstech again, but if my butterfingers get the best of me, this is definitely the only place I’ll take my phone! Excellent, excellent!

This place was a lifesaver. I dropped my phone on the sidewalk while in DC for a conference. It is impossible to get by in 2014 without a phone, my phone wouldn’t do a thing. I found this place on Unilocal,I went there and tried to haggle like a boss but really $ 75 to get your phone working like new is not bad.
He even put on a screen protector and cleaned out the charger area. iPhone 4 is now fresh working well. Cash only, in a little garage type thing a few blocks off Chinatown stop.
Also only took 30 mins.

This place rules.
Walked in at like 5 on a Saturday to this shady looking little garage off of K St. with a broken iPhone screen. We shot the shit and complained about speeding tickets while I watched him fix my phone. There were like 100 little screws in that bitch. Literally less than ten minutes later I was walking out the door with a perfect screen. Cost me $ 70. Dude knows what he’s doing.

So let me begin saying that this place impressed me so much that I had to create my own Unilocal account and write a great review for them.
Yesterday my phone fell and it did not want to turn on. The morning after I took it to this place and the man fixed my phone and changed my screen for $ 70. It only took him 20 – 30 minutes to fix. He did a great job and knew exactly what he was doing.
If you need to repair your iphone screen or your iphone does not work, then go to this place, by far the best!

Came in on a Saturday afternoon, waited about an hour and paid $ 80 to have the front of my iphone replaced. Bring a magazine or book or something to keep you entertained.
Definitely check it out before you decide to buy a new phone to replace your broken one.

A lot of thoroughly positive reviews, and until recently I was very happy with their service.
A few months back I got my front and back iPhone screens replaced to my satisfaction — however, none of my pictures were available to access on my iPhone afterwards. I was able to retrieve them using software found on the internet. and didn’t care too much to write a review.
Unfortunately, I recently damaged the front plate of my iPhone and opted to fix the screen myself this time.
After going inside my iPhone, I discovered several screws missing and two stripped screws which prevented me from continuing the rest of my repairs.
While on the outside the work appears to be well done, inside it is evident that shortcuts were taken and two screws were overtorqued to the point where they were stripped.

5 stars for any place that rescues my precious hard drive like that! :-)
I agree with other Unilocalers – VERY hard to find. Even after reading that it’d b hard to find on Unilocal AND using my GPS, I STILL had trouble finding it lol. But it’s there! Keep looking!

Phenomenal!!! I can’t express to you enough how PHENOMENAL this place is!!! Henry, the tech that fixed my iPhone was fantastic! I decided to come to this place as a result of taking heed to the reviews of my fellow Unilocalers, and I must say that this place did not disappoint! My iPhone 4 screen was shattered when I came in, and not only did Henry fix it in a nominal amount of time (in front of me while I watched), he also answered all of my questions as he was fixing it. You could clearly tell that he was EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE in his field and, even though there was a slight language barrier (as Henry is Asian and had somewhat of an accent), he still made it a point to make sure I understood everything that I asked of him. (By this point, the fact that this place is literally operated in a garage storefront had escaped my mind — I could have been in the Apple store at that point!) Anyway — When Henry was done, my phone looked as if it was BRAND NEW!
Not only that, my husband put down his cell phone on the counter while he was watching Henry fix my phone. After my phone was done, we left (and my husband forgot to pick up his phone). We had been gone for about 3 hours and I received a phone call. It was Henry (calling me from my husband’s cell phone) letting me know that my husband had left his phone and (since they were now closed), I could come and pick it up on the next business day. Everyone wouldn’t have done that, and I really appreciated it.
To sum it up: GREAT SERVICE+FAST+EFFICIENT = Very Happy Customer!
