Domino’s Pizza

Only the worst pizza I’ve ever had.
I grew up ordering Domino’s and loved it, then something horrible happened. Fell victim to their marketing re reinventing themselves and gave them another shot. Oops.

I’ve never written anything before, but this was so frustrating, it actually made me wanna write about it!
Disaster… true disaster… It took OVER AN HOUR to deliver my pizza, i tried calling to check on it, and noone even seemed to bother. I got the same «driver is on its way» line… Horrible customer service. Needless to say my pizza was cold when it got here, and it is heating up in the oven as we speak… I will never EVER order from this location again.
Advice for all of you reading this — do not do it. Order chinese, or just go to the nearest grocery store — the pizza will be better there

Ordered from here tonight for the boy I nanny for and myself. The pizza guy was nice, and the pizza was hot fresh out the oven. It didn’t take long for them to deliver either. We waited 40 minutes from the time we ordered to delivery. Pretty solid! Good grub, Domino’s.

Decided to get pizza on a Sunday night — we ordered online and monitored the progress as it was cooked and sent out for delivery. We got it pretty quick with no issues. Hot pizza and chicken kickers, exactly as ordered!
NOTE: No, it’s not gourmet. We didn’t feel like walking to Matchbox and We the PIzza isn’t open on Sundays. That didn’t leave us too many options and Domino’s was a reliable, tasty choice.

We’ve been ordering Domino’s pizza for delivery, and like the «hand tossed» crust. The toppings can be a little scarce, but overall it’s a good pizza. We recently tried the chocolate lava crunch cake and were completely amazed. They come two to a serving, crusty chocolate cake about the size of a slightly flattened muffin, dusted with powdered sugar and filled with melted chocolate. And they arrived warm! Loved it. Might have the pizza for dessert.

I’m so impressed Im SPEECHLESS which doesnt happen too often but here is the 411, I work for D.C. Police and our NEW communications center is on MLK in SE. My coworkers and I ordered from here and after about an hour we were getting a little upset being told they are still on the way.
The last time we called and again asked if everything was okay and was told the truth, the driver locked herself out of her car in a really bad area of S.E. we felt bad and our patience kicked back in and the manager told us our food was free!
A little later the driver herself called and we helped direct her to us and the pizza was a bit cold but we were all okay and not upset knowing what the driver had gone thru.
Well here comes the good part, I came back after my 45 min break to see I had ANOTHER order of the exact same thing on my desk! I guess the manager felt bad about the time lapse they sent us all new fresh hot food!
We DIDNT ask or expect it, especially after the poor driver had problems! But for them to do this was A+++++ TIMES 10 CUSTOMER SERVICE and we are all happy and agree that this was BEYOND customer service! We didnt ask or expect any discounts ect but here we are satisfied to the extreme!
Way to go Dominoes, You guys ROCK!!!

This review isn’t about the pizza, but about the awesome guy who delivers the pizza via bike from this Domino’s. Rain or shine, he delivers the pizza with a smile. I see him biking to deliver pizza in our neighborhood a lot, and I hope everyone he brings a pizza to treats him with a warm smile and generous tip.

This Domino’s Pizza had a four star rating. On general principle, no Domino’s Pizza should have a four star rating. Ever.
There are so many choices for pizza that nearly any local pizza place with a minimal zest for making and delivering tasty pizza will overcome any person’s desire to call Domino’s to satiate their hunger. However, Domino’s is fantastic if you’re a starving student.
It is also worth noting that leftover Domino’s Pizza does not sit well in your stomach, and is not a pleasurable eating experience. The low-​quality cheese ends up not keeping very well after one round in the oven and/​or microwave.

I ordered the 5−5−5 deal over the phone from these guys – you know, three medium one-​topping pizzas for $ 5 each – and expected the worst. You know, ‘this is Southeast’ after all.’
I’ve got to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The location was clean and organized, the staff were courteous and friendly, and made me feel like they really wanted my business. This is much more than I can say for the two Domino’s I’ve been to in Northwest.
This is a truly good branch, all. Good food, good service. Four stars, easy.
