I once had a shard of broken glass dug out of my foot with a fork by a friend with Parkinson’s disease – I still have the scar. That experience was less painful than Delta Elite Social Club.

Instructions: Walk to the bar — order a delta juice ($ 9 drink like jungle juice – very strong but tastes good) — drink entire cup of it
after that you won’t have any complaints about the delta and I guarantee you will have a good time.

Ok. Coming from NYC, this was a complete culture shock. At best, the bar had one shelf of liquor (2 bottles each). It is said when a nightclub has a more diverse food menu than drink menu. But if you are craving a hot dog or «half smoke» while you check out some boys, then Delta Elite is for you. Beware though, because last call is at 2:30 and if you don’t finish your drink within 10 minutes, it will be confiscated. The main level looks like it has not been updated in about 25 years, while the downstairs (or hip-​hop section) looked amazingly similar to my mother’s basement and smelled like my local gym’s locker room. I’d like to think that there are better hip-​hop clubs in D. C…
