Working at I ST Cove was a pretty great experience!
Like 7TH ST Cove, it is big and bright with plenty of seating. This location also has 2 floors, and a segregated section for people who want to collaborate or use the phone.
There’s a small kitchen area, and it is kept very clean. The bathrooms are somewhat obvious, meaning you can hear people pissing if you’re sitting relatively nearby. My suggestion is to sit far from the bathroom, if you truly want to avoid hearing human bodily functions at «work».
The fact that this location is open until 11PM is great, and it’s right around the corner from 7TH ST. The location is very convenient to Gallery Place metro, and dining. Awesome for winding down after working!
Sort of a younger crowd works at the I ST location, which is cool. And no piercing looks of scrutiny from the staff, which is a relief.
I haven’t used the printer, yet. So I can’t comment on the technology. However, the wifi information at I ST Cove is the same for 7TH ST Cove. So, when 7TH ST closes at 6PM, it isn’t much of a transition to walk over to I ST Cove to finish working.
