Cookie’s Corner is a corner store that just so happens to sell food. There’s a wide variety of household items like cleaning supplies like plastic cups etc. and there are also snacks and drinks including noodles for college students like myself lol. I think they also sell alcoholic beverages as well. The food is delicious and the portions are amazing, I have trouble finishing my food every time lol. The first time I went I was almost never going to come back again because of the employees that work there but one day I was hungry so what was I going to do? It was Tender Loving Thursday so I got 3 chicken tenders at 75¢ and a small seasoned fry. It comes with honey mustard but you can also ask for ranch. The next time I came I ordered at regular menu price which was about $ 4.99 for 4 tenders and it didn’t come with fries. So I added on a small seasoned fry for $ 1.99. My only problem with the fries is that they don’t peel the potatoes all the way and sometimes you get a weird taste to the skin. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised by an extra tender. Plus the lady up front was nice this time. This place is pretty casual and I suggest ordering your food beforehand if you don’t want to wait for a while. There are two or three seats if you want to sit down and eat or wait for your food but I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve been back several times since discovering this place through Unilocal.Don’t expect superb customer service, this isn’t a restaurant, it’s a corner store.

Their chicken tenders are to die for. Fresh, crispy and delicious. Made to order and right around the corner. Definitely a hidden gem!

I went in for just a coffee which was surprisingly good and only $ 1.39 with a warmed plain croissant also less than $ 2. I was able to sit at the coffee counter they have overlooking the street and it was quite a pleasant experience and the people behind the counter(behind plexiglass) were very friendly. They also sell some household goods but mainly provide food such as specials like«Wednesday Wings,» «Tender Loving Thursday,» «Fish Fry Friday». I might go back for some of this! Note that this place is in an old house so not wheelchair accessible and has signs on the inside banning some people(who must be nuisances) and a sign on the door that no one under 18 can come in without supervision, so it looks like they’ve had some hassles. Since it’s on my way home from the G8 bus stop I might stop by more often.

Cookies Corner is both a «restaurant» and a store. For the store– there are a lot of items here for you to come in if you need some household supplies. Cleaning supplies, pantry items, disposable plates, and beer. it’s all here. The prices, though, are a little steep compared to a grocery store. This is to be expected from the little shop… but a turn off nonetheless As for the food– they have a good menu and, as one reviewer said before, as long as the right cook is on the grill it will come out great. If you’ve got someone lazy on the grill, it will come out okay. I am a big fan of their chicken tenders dipped in the sauce of your children(honey mustard and hot sauce for me). I have also tried their chicken tender sandwich, the philly cheese steak sandwich, and a bacon cheeseburger. All have come out well.
