Where else your going to get beer on a Sunday night @ 9:30? They are open until 10 on Sunday, didn’t asked about the rest of the week. I live around the corner & it’s great to have a place to grab a 6 pack whenever I want 1.

This liquor store is actually great and perfect for where I live. Yes– I agree the neighborhood is a bit rough, but the people are so friendly and the prices are great! Can’t wait to go back

While I appreciate the creativity of the owners to plant fake reviews, this liquor store is merely OK. Prices are OK. Selection is OK. The last time I was there, a guy loitering on a bike (in the store) took a beer out of my 6 pack of Pacificos and yelled, «damn, white boy got that fancy beer.» He did not have a bottle opener, which upset him when he realized the bottles weren’t twist off.

Ben’s has a been a staple of the community for many generations. My grandfather purchased beer here to support protesters during the civil right movement. My father bought a bottle of champaign here that he used to propose to my mother. I myself purchased my first (legal) vodka here. It’s not the nicest looking joint, but gosh darn it, it sure is the friendliest.

Big Ben liquor is a great and convenient place to grab a drink. It has a unique atmosphere filled with joy and booze. The people that hang around the outside are also very friendly.
