Smaller club but adequate for domestic travel. Nice view of the tarmac. Flight info screen is very delayed(seems to be a systemic admirals club issue). Standard beer/wine/wells free with a decent top shelf selection as well. Soup, hummus, vegetables, ranch dip along with brownies, cookies, trail mix and coffee/espresso(Nescafe machine). Computers available along with coat rack and luggage storage. Staff was kind and attentive. Overall A-/B+

Glad to see I was not the only one on here who was only mildly impressed with this location. I believe there are two admirals club’s in national airport however in the C-terminal the club is smaller and less upscale. Since the airport was very busy they were very few seats in the admirals club and very few offerings for food and beverages. I could not get the Internet to work however that was a minor inconvenience. In general I have to admit that there have only been a few really nice locations that I felt were worth paying the enormous fee that is charged annually from American for the privilege of using their admirals club’s, this location in my Opinion is not one of them. It is fine just not great.

I’m biased because I compare them to the qanyas lounges & the lounges in asia. Not as good food wise. It has all the basic amenities.

If o could I would give you a negative 5 star. This is by far the WORST airline in the world. And that’s a fact!!! The seat selection on the website is TERRIBLE!!! For a flight on an American flight it tells us to go to the US airway site. Then the same thing for the same flight on US airways flight. Oh and the same thing for on the phone!!! Then the check in process. Good initiative horrible fucking execution. No one is helpful. 25 dollars for each bag. Then if for whatever reason the bag checking does not work all they say is didn’t work. No help. Good job on sucking.

Just had the worst experience at an Admirals Club ever! B terminal of DCA. The bartender is beyond rude. My husband was asked«now what do you need?» in a very nasty tone simply because he approached the bar twice only because he couldn’t carry his drink and 2 water glasses in one trip. AA needs to give their employees a few tips on customer service. Too bad my husband had already given him a $ 3 tip. It is also a very cramped space with extremely uncomfortable chairs. Come on American, when you are notorious for long delays out of Reagan the least you could do is put comfortable chairs in your Admirals Club! At least the merger has brought us complimentary beer and wine. Thank you US Airways for that!

So many memories over so many years. One of my favorite east coast airports and clubs.

This review is brought to you from 38k in the sky … This DCA Admirals Club is located just inside security before B24. Take the elevator up to the ‘Clubs.’ It’s a small lounge, compared to the former USAirways(now AC) in Concourse C, which I prefer. Fire up your laptop for those last minute emails and browsing because they have complimentary Wi-Fi. Or use one of their 2 PCs. Light snacks, drinks, and fruit are available for a quick bite. AAngels who staff the front desk rock. They can assist you with your flight, issue your boarding pass, maybe give you an upgrade — and always with a smile. This AC is definitely a smaller lounge(if you’re a frequent AA flyer like me, your first reaction upon entering would be, ‘This is it?’), so I imagine that it gets quite busy during the day. But if you’re on the first flight out of DCA, this Admirals Club opens at 4:30 am and you have room to move around and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet before your flight. If you’re not a member, you can still enjoy the Club by purchasing a one-day pass for $ 50 which would be good for the entire travel day, even at your destination.

Adequate Admiral’s Club, globally-speaking, though anything named after RR is heavy on the hype and light on the reality, just as his term in office.

It’s worth it to get the admiral membership if you travel a lot. This Admiral Lodge is perfect for long layovers or while you wait for your flights for the following reasons. 1.) there is a small bar of complementary snacks. They had cheese cubes, veggies and Ranch, chocolate covered pretzels, crackers, olives and chip mix. 2.) there are complementary soft drinks and water. 3.) there is a bar with a great bartender. 4.) there are complementary wine and beer selections!!! 5.) it’s much more spacious than sitting outside in front of your gate. 6.) the bathrooms are very clean. 7.) I can bring a plus one to any of their Admiral locations. 8.) there is a tentative and hard working staff. The staff is professional and well trained. They are friendly. 9.) computers for guests to utilize during their time there. 10.) fast wifi, I even streamed a movie and there were rarely any lag time. 11.) quiet 12.) complementary coffee, cappuccinos, and hot teas. 13.) a place to store your luggage at the owners expense. However, membership is costly and not worth it if you do not travel often. At about 850 $ annually for a spouse and yourself.

Best customer service help I have ever seen in any Admirals Club. Bartenders are very polite and accommodating as well!

Two and a half stars is more accurate. It is a nice place to sit. But there is no way to order food. I’m fine paying the premium to eat in a club. Work something out with Sam and Harry’s right below!

This club is on the lower echelon of the Admiral’s Club foodchain, which is already inferior to international airlines’ clubs. It’s crowded and old, and bathrooms are insufficient. Food offering is AA meager. However, since it’s next to the old US Air club, my hope would be that they merge the two and make it in to one decent club.

Pretty small and cramped. Seems like it has been recently remodeled, so the furnishings are nice. The service at the bar was also very good. Wasn’t busy at 10am on a Friday, but based on its size, it might get crowded at peak times. Also, you need to notice the elevators immediately to the right after entering security otherwise you may be hunting around for a while to find it — it is not on concourse level. Overall, a nice admirals club that is slightly above par compared to the other AA clubs. Four stars if I rate it among admirals clubs, three if I compare it to all airport lounges worldwide.

The DCA club is in a nice cozy space that allows a view of the check-in area. There are two types of snacks available complimentary, a snack mix of pretzels, nuts, etc. and white chocolate covered pretzels. The chocolate covered pretzels are addictive. There is a menu so you can order more substantial food fare, but it is pricey. There is a decent amount of seating and outlets to charge up your electronics. The complimentary wifi also cannot be beat. It was peaceful on a Thursday evening. A great tidbit about my visit was that my flight wasn’t until 10pm, but the club remained opened until all the travelers left to board for that flight. It was really great not to have to deal with the hustle and bustle of the gate.

Missed connection? Missed your flight? The ladies at the Admiral Club concierge are gems when you need to rebook, rearrange, or find another travel solution. When everybody else is panicking at the front counter in the bedlam known as the main concourse, I like to retreat back to the Admirals Club for peace of mind. It’s comfortable lounge chairs and spacious waiting around is zen-like compared to the frantic waiting area downstairs. And did you know they offered complimentary wine, beer, and rail?

A small little lounge. Selection of food was horrible. Service was ok.

Traveling a lot I get to hit all the Admirals Clubs. This one I had a bad experience where the Angel didn’t help reroute me through ORD when the STL flight was delayed until the next morning due to a mechanical. I had to call the Executive Platinum desk to get it sorted. Certainly not the kind of experience one wants when paying for the membership.

Certainly not one of the larger clubs, but it is right after security and the American gates are not far off so it is very convenient. With the recent refresh, it is definitely one of the nicer locations in the US.

The club itself is okay but the food and drink available were pitiful. Stale mini donuts. Crappy coffee. Tasteless delicious apples and oranges were laid out. Not much choice in newspapers or magazines either. The staff at the front desk were helpful. I think the person that assisted me with my flight changes was Marianne? This rating is due to food mainly.

A nice little club, though it does feel a little cramped since it doesn’t have the higher ceilings most other clubs have(due to terminal architecture, I’m sure). I do like that there are a lot of corners, nooks, and crannies to hide out in, including a totally segregated business/work room where I won’t feel bad taking care of a phone call. This club recently underwent renovations and thus does feel«newer» in a sense. The staff is fantastic, being ever so helpful with even minutiae. Note: The elevator to the club is right after security, on the right as you pass through the checkpoint.
