TSA Checkpoint – T.F. Green Airport

4 words: Much better than Logan!

I love this airport. It’s small, clean, and friendly. Very easy to navigate through. The parking is very inexpensive and there are many dining options and inexpensive hotels nearby. There is a dunkin donuts, Johnny Rockets and a pizza place in the airport.

Ok, it wont let me make separate reviews so 1 star it is. Why one lonely star? It wasn’t the check point folks. It was the sloppy thief of a TSA agent that rifled my checked baggage.
Now I have had my check bags inspected and the little TSA card left behind on a number of occasions. And with each, the agent at least had enough respect to exercise some care and almost leave things undisturbed. Not the case in Providence.
TSA PVD S-​8, according to the inspection notice, decided to totally upset my luggage, wadding clothing, leaving shoes out of the protective bags resulting in black marks on business clothes, dumping my shaving kit which then leaked, and lastly, the thieving bastard decided to lift my pocket knife from the tupperware container containing my cuff links and stick pins.
I know it is a $ 10 knife… but it is the principle (or in the case of this TSA agent, the total lack of principles).
So to TSA PVD S-​8 Agent working the morning of 18 SEPT 2014… EXPLETIVE You!!!

I’ll break mine into two reviews in the interest of fairness.
I’ve been through several times at this checkpoint. No one likes hearing the droning agents barking orders at the checkpoint but, travelers that don’t prepare do likely add to the agents frustrations at times.
TSA pre-​check makes the process even better by minimizing the stripping and time spent at the check points.
Each time through that I recall, the agent attending the conveyor belt seemed courteous enough.
Nothing outstanding but certainly nothing tragic.
