Was looking for some good Asian inspired food in Warwick, and some good aquaintences recommended this place. It was literally about a mile from my hotel. The place was nice, clean, and had good ambiance/atmosphere. We could still have great conversation without a lot of noise. The food was also great as well. The different offerings makes it really difficult to decide what you want to eat because you want to try everything. The staff(wait staff and owners) were wonderful and came out to speak with us when we inquired about their background. They kept us very entertained tonight. If I’m back in the area, again, I would definitely make this a regular dining spot. The food was nicely proportioned and the price was affordable when compared to other Asian fusion places I’ve tried in other areas of the country. I would recommend going with a group, so you all can order a variety of dishes and share. Can’t believe this place has only been opened for 8 months. I hope it stays open for a long time.

We had a nice enough time here. It’s clean and the service is good. Our food was fresh and hot, not that exceptional, but it was fine. Everything was okay. nothing stellar.

This was the first visit here for me and my wife. First impression was that the restaurant is impeccably clean, comfortable and attractive. The service was flawless, but most impressive is that the(manager/owner?) visited our table and offered to help figure out for my wife a vegetarian version of the chicken lettuce wraps offered on the menu. He checked back twice before the entrée was prepared to make sure all the proposed ingredients were acceptable. The resulting dish was as good as we could have hoped for as were the other items ordered right off the menu. We absolutely will return and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new favorite place to eat.

I took a friend here to celebrate her birthday on February 26. I had not checked any online ratings site, so didn’t know what to expect. It is a lovely restaurant — more contemporary and without the usual trappings of a lot of Asian restaurants. I think the chandeliers are a holdover from Twist, the previous restaurant, but it works! We sat at the bar and had drinks. The bartender was very friendly and mixed the perfect Cosmo. We were having such a good chat, we opted not to move to the dining room. Again, best-bartender-ever brought us menus and we ordered. I tried a very popular, basic Asian restaurant dish — Pad Thai — which is also, in my opinion, the litmus test for a good Asian restaurant. It was the lightest Pad Thai I have ever had and was excellent! The portion was generous and I took home left overs — which were just a tasty the next day for lunch. The birthday girl had the bee bong with chicken and said she liked it very much. The prices? Very fair. The big expense is the drinks. If you want a lower bill, stick with non-alcoholic beverages. Atmosphere — great vibe with an upscale, but not pretentious, crowd. Would I recommend? Heartily!

I was excited to see a new Asian fusion restaurant open. I’ve been a fan of apsara and 4 seasons, and while the décor is pleasant, the food just didn’t compare. The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour, just bland. The honey ribs, a special were meaty but the sauce was too sweet. The chicken pad Thai was OK but lacked the depth of flavor that I enjoy.

This restaurant has an inviting Asian inspired interior, with blacks, reds, and silvers. They have many varieties of rice displayed beautifully as a backdrop. I found the restaurant to be immaculate in cleanliness, including the restrooms. All staff greeted us with smiles and were very friendly. Service was fast and our food came out hot. The food was delicious! There aren’t many Asian restaurants in the area that do Chinese this well– but Red Rice has done it! Truly a welcome addition to the area! Best Asian restaurant in the area!

Amazing restaurant! Great prices and unbelievable food. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. This is a MUST restaurant! I had a great time here. Recommended dishes/drinks: cucumber gin, delicious fruit tart and pea pod leaves salad. Bottom line: Best Asian restaurant around! Highly recommended!

Really great food, good drinks, good service, EXCEPT for the person who was waiting on us threw our leftovers away, after already wrapping leftover dumplings for me. Both our portions of noodles were huge and we got a free sample of some appetizers cause it was our first time. Ill def comeback.

This is my favorite restaurant in Warwick. The owner is the original owner of several other local restaurants similar to this one. Great food, wonderful ambiance. All I can say is delicious.

I finally decided to give this establishment a try after so many failed attempts. My best friend said he went for lunch and got an awesome deal. so I had to see what he was talking about. I can honestly say I was blown away by the beautiful décor. The ambiance is soft and gentle creating a perfect balance of energy when sitting in the dining room. The classical music was peaceful to my ears and helped create a nice dining experience. We decided to have some hot tea. It was delicious. The tea pot had a sleek design and had a personality of its’ own. We both got the lunch specials. We started off with Hot and Sour Soup. It was delicious and had a perfect balance of flavor. Coming from me that says a lot since i specifically go to restaurants for their different unique variations of Hot and Sour Soup. Then we got Chicken with Lemongrass and Shrimp with Chinese Vegetables. The Lemongrass was flavored perfectly and is a must try if you are a fan of peanut coconut curry sauce. Both dishes came with a couple chicken wings and a generous portioned choice of rice: brown, fried, or white. The server was really attentive and we enjoyed her personality and pleasant demeanor. We got everything we asked for with efficiency and she definitely completed the entire 5 star experience. Ill definitely be back soon!

Quite possibly the best miso soup I have ever had was here at Red Rice. I stopped in with a colleague on our way to a lunch training session. We didn’t have a lot of time but wanted something tasty and(relatively) nutritious. Red Rice was the perfect destination. It’s conveniently located at the junction of Routes 2 and 5 across from the Warwick Mall. Service was excellent and fast. They offer a long list of lunch specials, including many favorites and staples. I selected the chicken pad thai(offered gluten free). The portion size was huge, and came with a choice of soup. As mentioned the miso soup was excellent. I will return!

Awesome! A family member of mine recommended this place and he was absolutely right this was some of the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. I had the pork fried rice it was very good it had lots of vegetables in it which it gave it lots of flavor and it was fresh. It looks really nice inside the place has only been open for six months. I will definitively be back!

The dishes are the same pan-Asian favorites that you see on so many menus, but they are done just a little bit better. The ingredients a bit(or sometimes a whole lot) more fresh than you might be use to, the cookery done with a bit more care. I don’t believe that you’ll find a better Asian restaurant for miles around. Pretty darn good.

A very solid 4 stars. Great service and a really great value. $ 7.99 for the General Tsao’s Chicken, fried rice, egg drop soup and two chicken wings.(Lunch Special) The rice was really good and the chicken was nice and tender, not too breaded like a lot of Chinese places. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area…

All the rave reviews are true! Red Rice is the latest(and perhaps greatest!) new Asian restaurant to arrive in Kent County. If you like Seven Moons, you’ll LOVE Red Rice. The former owners of Seven Moons in North Kingstown have transformed the former Twist restaurant across from the Warwick Mall into a warm, bright, simply elegant and inviting hot spot. On my first visit(on a Monday night) the restaurant was half full, and my party of four was treated to stellar team of servers — attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to special dietary requests. Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Mooshi, Nime Chow and Bee Bong were all palate pleasers, as we had expected, given our experience at Seven Moons. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I personally can’t wait to return to enjoy some of the libations mentioned in other reviews! No doubt, Red Rice will become a top pick on my favorite restaurant list, and another welcome addition to great dining in the suburbs!

I loved my lunch here recently! We were out shopping and stopped in for lunch. We opted for the 7.99 lunch specials which come with soup, rice and chicken wings. I enjoyed the Miso soup and my husband thought the hot and sour soup was the best he’s ever had. When they brought the food mine was wrong. The waiter had misheard my order for L6 as L16. The waiter waited a few seconds hopeful that I’d just have the Orange Chicken but I stuck to my guns and they brought my actual order out quickly. It was delicious and worth the wait. I really enjoyed the meal and thought the lunch specials were a terrific value. The food was so much better then other Chinese options in the area and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!

we definitely had to try this place out when we heard it is owned by the previous owners of 7 Moons. The menu is very similar as is the taste of most items. we ordered Naim chow which was delicious …tightly packed and fresh… the chicken fingers and vegetable Chow Mein were also delicious. we got the crispy chicken wings and definitely glad we did. they have just the right amount of spice with a sweetness kick. The portions are large which would explain the higher prices. kind of bummed they don’t have combination plates for dinner, but overall everything was great and the staff was fantastic. Definitely will be going again!!!

I have chosen Red Rice for my 700th review because I wanted to celebrate joining«the 700 club» by reviewing a new restaurant worth visiting! I heard of the restaurant from my mother who I am visiting in RI. So tonight I took her and her friend there for dinner. Red Rice is still less than a month old and thus not yet known enough to be crowded, so we were able to sit down upon arrival. It is tastefully decorated and yes Louise, the bathroom was spotless! Our server, Misey, was friendly and made us feel very welcome. After a Tsing Tao beer($ 4.75), we began the eating part of our meal with both wonton($ 3.75) and hot & sour soup(we ordered wonton soup but when hot and sour arrived instead, Missey apologized profusely and told us to enjoy the extra soup while she corrected the order). Both soups were flavorful. We then ordered nime chow($ 5.25) that was not as full of different ingredients or as tightly wrapped as where we usually get them in RI(Lemongrass) but they tasted fine. For our entrée, we chose the chicken-pork-shrimp Pad Thai noodles. They were one of the most flavorful, yet light, renditions of this dish that I have tasted anywhere. When you visti, this is a must try entrée! For dessert we tried the Green Tea Fried Ice Cream($ 5.50). The ice cream was tasty(which Dalia will love) but we were split on the shell. I felt it needed to be crispier. My mom’s friend disagreed and loved it, so I guess you will have to judge for yourself when you eat here. Red Rice has a few more bumps to iron out — it is confusing how to get into their parking lot, the tea was only lukewarm(but immediately replaced when we asked for hotter tea) and the Pad Thai and soups could likewise have been served warmer but overall this is a restaurant that you should try before it gets better known and super crowded! 10/10/2015: 4th visit and this restaurant just keeps getting better and better! Excellent service, friendly staff, sensational food! And all this and a very reasonable price!
