Enterprise Rent-A-Car

From my ¹²⁄₃ review. When I dropped off the vehicle in Middletown, RI I was hassled over a crack on the lower front bumper on the drivers side. When I initially rented the car it was 4pm and nearly dark. The customer service rep walked around the car with me but by no means did we inspect UNDERNEATH the bumpers. To try to put this on me when it wasn’t clear when this crack occurred (Before or after I rented vehicle ?)

Here are the pictures that Enterprise is using to pin the blame on the last driver (me) to have the car.
Who looks at these parts of the car before renting to verify this? Do they ask customers to get down and do 10 push ups and while you’re down there make sure that there are no cracks underneath the bumper. Like I stated earlier I would crawl on my hands and knees across country before I ever rent from or refer people to Enterprise Rentals.

This ENTERPRISE franchise delivered what I expected– fast check in– a clean car with adequate room and power. Most important, during the walk a round, the agent showed me where the gas tank was. For my part, I returned a rental with a full tank. Overall, a very good experience.

This is the second time I’ve needed a car rental and Enterprise has made it simple and easy for me. I am truly appreciative of the staff and their amazing customer service. I would recommend using Enterprise and especially the Warwick, RI locations. Thank you!

Rented twice in past month from Enterprise. Originally had made error when reserving on-​line and chose from Sabin location… called to confirm and they advised that probably wanted Post Road location. They moved reservations over to Post Road but all subsequent emails indicated Sabin. Caused a few calls to reassure us that car would be at Post.
Returning car on Sept. 27^th (Sunday) we went initially to Post Road… Closed on Sunday… no one had mentioned that when we picked up car. Fortunately we knew where Airport drop off was and brought it there… needs to be more communication on both subjects please.
Cars were clean and all was in order… people were very friendly and courteous..

We had a very pleasant experience with Enterprise Car Rental in Warwick RI. We use this agency every time we are in the area and have never been disappointed. Drew Walbridge took care of us and was extremely professional. We highly recommend the team at Enterprise.

These guys and girls are great at this location they go out of their way to make you feel special never a headache always are great deal I won’t rent from anyone else not even another one of their locations here in RI so if you want the best all around customer service this is the place to rent from!

Filthy windows, filthy floor and strong cigarette odor in my Enterprise car rental.
The windows prompted the Enterprise rental agent to clean a few before I drove the car away. When I drove into the sun, dirt on the front windshield prevented clear vision. An odor of stale cigarettes became apparent.
I had to pull into a store to buy glass cleaner, sponges and some deodorizer.
White salt stains covered the floor while a checklist on the dash certified that everything had been cleaned.
Calling the «24-​HOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE «phone number had a recording telling me that offices were closed and advised to «call during regular business hours.»

I rented a car here on a Friday for a 3 day rental. They gave me a free upgrade which I though was very cool. The customer service gentleman had me look around the car for dents with him. He said the tank was full. Upon driving away i quickly realized the car was not full but half full so i had to return and he notated the account. The car ran fine the entire time i had it. i decided to return the car on Sunday before the 48 hours was up as my car was repaired and i no longer needed the rental. I called the 800 number to inform them I was returning it early as this location is CLOSED on Sunday. I left the keys in the drop box on the premises. The next day I went to pick up a final bill in person. They billed me for the full 3 days rather than 2. I was obviously pissed. I did speak with the representative this morning and they nicely agreed to refund me for the 3^rd day. I would only rent from this location on the weekend if you are SURE you are going to take the a rental thru a Sunday. Otherwise you will be in a dispute with them which i don’t think you want. If you are not sure you would take a rental for the Sunday simply go to a location that grants credit for Sundays.

Helpful service day of sale, but after finding out they were hiding all the fees they charge at the end. Terrible customer service after the rental was returned, never refunded the «hold» charge of $ 200. Then when I called to complain about it 4 days later, they claimed they had to detail the car which is absolutely ridiculous and then they went ahead and charged me a fee of $ 75. After which I was told I would get the remaining $ 125 back, only to find out «taxes» weren’t included so ended up only getting $ 90 back. Employee over the phone couldn’t even explain to me what charges were and why. Complete hoax and waste of my time and money. I will never rent from this company again. They charge a fee for everything, don’t take their «insurance» either, because they tell you it’s going to be $ 19.99 but then charge $ 15 in taxes. Employees can’t even keep up with outrageous charges and why we are charged them. This was only for a one day rental so I can imagine how difficult they are to work with on a multiple day rental car. I work in sales and customer service and would never treat a customer the way I was treated through this company. Enterprise in Warwick, RI on Post Road.

I originally looked at the Enterprise in the PVD airport but found a cheaper rate outside the airport just 10 minutes away. I took a cab there which only took $ 10.
I had an economy car booked for 2:30pm but had arrived early. The lady at the desk was very nice about offering me insurance for my car. I politely declined and she didn’t push it. I signed the papers and I followed her outside to my Toyota Prius Hatchback.
The car was new and clean, it only had 2000 miles on it. This whole process took 15 minutes tops.
I’m very happy with the service I received at this location. I will definitely do business again.

I had a car reserved at Thrifty. Thrifty said they did not have any cars and the wait would be at least an hour. I went to the next desk which was Enterprise. I received friendly service, got my car immediately and they beat Thrifty’s price. Enterprise saved the day.
