This is a buffet so don’t expect 5 star dining. They offer a good value, $ 13.95 for all you can eat. The selection is huge. Prime rib, shrimp cooked 10 different ways, sushi bar, scallops, raw clams & oysters a variety of chicken entrees and three different soups. The main draw is the crab legs. They only bring a small portion out at a time so you have to be first in line to get some. Then the people behind you get pissed because you took too much. Again it was a small portion, they deliberately do this to save money. So now you have to get back in line for more. This is frustrating and doesn’t make for a pleasant dining experience. Overall this is one of the best Chinese buffets. You really get your monies worth. BYOB is allowed. You won’t be disappointed.

The food is good here and the place is clean. The price is reasonable for what is offered. The staff are minimally courteous and on the occasions I have visited here they can be just ignorant.

Have been going here for years. Small groups, big groups, kids, adults. The food is good and there is a large selection of both traditional Chinese and American food like pizza and fries for the kids. When they have crab legs they go quickly and you need to get in line for the next batch which comes out every 5 to 10 minutes. The deserts are not very good but they do have a soft serve ice cream machine. The negative — the prices which were reasonable when they opened have gone up every year.

Went today for Christmas with the family and had a worm come out in my food. They were charging extra today for the holiday and because they were serving lobster all day; too bad the worm came out in my lobster. Management was very rude and said they would take one of our child’s charge off the bill as compensation but we did not feel comfortable dining there at all. They didn’t even apologize for the disgusting state of their food and just came out very rude to my family, even though we didn’t make a scene in front of the rest of their patrons. We tried to be understanding since its a busy day and our family is also in the restaurant food business but wow, what a way to be treated on Christmas. Very disappointing and definitely won’t be returning ever.

First time I’ve been back in 3 years, and first time I tried their dinner. If I had to rate their hot food items, I’d say 7.5 out of 10 stars. Many of their items were surprisingly good. I also enjoyed their crab legs, and craw fish. I’d say they would get 10 out of 10 for hot foods, if they cut out some of the fried foods, and Americanized dishes, and add a few more Chinese cuisine items. Now, on to their sushi. Out of 10 stars, I give Negative 1 out of 10. My first negative score ever. #1 How do you NOT serve Sashimi during dinner? #2 Sushi rice was horrible #3 The roll selection, quality of rolls, and taste of rolls were horrible #4 Their sushi nigiri, was literally a giant ball of rice, with a little piece of fish on top. If I was craving Chinese hot food only, I would come here, or either Ruby Buffet near Penns Landing. If I want sushi, there is no option, bar none, I’d go to Panasian Buffet. If I want hot food and sushi, Panasian Buffet. Meaning, I’m never going to any Chinese buffet in Philly ever again, if it’s not named Panasian Buffet.

Been going here for about 2 years. You get your bang for your buck. If you don’t leave feeling full, someonething’s wrong. The value is good, the variety is «meh.» The sushi is okay at best, their noodles are forgettable, their fried rice is laughable, but they make up for it with prime rib. For a Chinese restaurant, their Chinese food is behind in quality of most delivery service Chinese. Is it good for mindless eating. Yes. Is it good if you’re looking for the best? No.

This is your average buffet with people gorging on food, especially all the fried food. Was very disappointed that they charge you $ 2.00 for water. Food was just ok although the red snapper was tasty. Way too much fried food and oily veggies. We watched as a lady with her coat still on took 2 plates of crab legs to her table leaving nothing left. Then she came back and waited there for them to bring more out and again emptied the tray. I got up and there were 2 tiny legs left. What a pig. She has no consideration for anyone else and just wanted to stuff her and her family’s faces. Even though the waiters saw this, nobody approached her. I will not be going back there.

While they have a large selection, there is so much done wrong. the sushi is cut way to large, at times it feels like I’ve popped my jaw just trying to eat it. and the crab legs forget about it. people stand their waiting for them to come out then take the whole thing, and will do this over and over again so you pay for something you can’t even get unless you want to try and fight for them. the clams and oysters aren’t kept cold enough or they’re being left too long as often I can smell the stink just walking by. Needs better organization, and if they’re going to charge you for crab legs you better actually get some, and shouldn’t have to fight some pig for them.

Not much variety to eat. Food quality is not much as good as it should be. Not satisfied overall.

I decided I wanted some sushi for lunch so I drove to Grand Buffet in Warminster, however, they were closed due to a gas leak. So I decided to check out Easton Buffet — my first visit. It was meh. I went for sushi and was happy they had about 12 different varieties to choose from. Most were sloppily made. I don’t think I’m a sushi snob or anything, but this sushi just didn’t taste great. I tried maybe 6 different types, and most were fine, but nothing good or great. I don’t think I’ll go back. The Grand Buffet in Warminster has a smaller selection of sushi but it’s better quality and only $ 6.59 for lunch(and you can get hibachi!)

I am giving this an average review. Depends on the night you go in how good the food actually will be. Still disappointed about the one time they tried to charge me for the special lobster with the ginger sauce because they were serving it that night for some holiday or special occasion. I cannot eat the ginger due to a disorder of mine and it was basically pulling teeth to get them to understand that I could become very sick from it and was not paying the almost extra $ 4 per person for something I was going to eat anyways. And what frustrated me more is the whole time they watched me to make sure that I didn’t eat any of it because they were just waiting for the chance to charge me more money. A few other times I was there they were basically trying to rush me out of there at about 7pm when the place was basically empty at all those times. I will still go back here but its honestly hit or miss here.

I went here for dinner with my wife and son. Wait staffs are nice with friendly. Food is better then any other average Chinese buffet. Thing about Chinese buffet is I always crave it but when I’m done eating I’m feel not satisfied. But I like this place lot better then other Chinese buffet I been to. I’m still searching for my 4 or 5 star Chinese buffet.

If you like buffets, this is a good one. Lots of variety that includes soups, salads, sushi, got and cold entrees.

My family and I came in for an early dinner. The interior of the buffet is bright and clean-feeling, though with waiters and people everywhere, it can be a little difficult to navigate. The service is okay – not fast, but bearable. Their tea does not come in a pot; each person had a cup of hot water and a teabag. My dad wanted a refill at one point and eventually had to address a waiter. The buffet itself is on the larger side. The food itself is merely okay; a lot of American Chinese and American food and dessert. There’s fried foods, sushi, some soups, and salad and fruit, a lot of which was accompanied by some sort of syrup. I didn’t have any of those. There’s a lot of seafood, too. Each table is provided with bowls to discard shells in. Some of my favorite dishes were the crispy duck(though the skin wasn’t crispy – I just skipped that and the layer of fat), taro and egg custard buns(芋頭包, 奶黄包), the«Chinese mustard greens»(very simply sautéed with no extra sauces), the salmon, and the sesame seed-coated peanuts near the ice cream. Everything else that I tried was average. I wouldn’t mind returning, but I won’t be the one to suggest it. The food isn’t really that enticing.

Our family has been going to Eastern buffet for many years almost weekly. When they first opened up, the food was ok somewhat, but each time we been promissing not to go back and eat this horrible food. Last night we were there again and this time we are 100% agreed not to eat those foods. The people who work there are nasty. They charge for the hot water too, So check the invoice before paying. And by the way they never give you reciept. Talking about the food, their sushi are all dried and only have a choice of few. Veggie and sea foods are dirty that We had to spit out cause there were sands in it. And their soups are so much thin and watery that there is no real flavers. After eating at this place as a loyal customers for almost 10 years, it is really time to find a good chinese Buffett and we know it is not gonna be that hard.

An OK Chinese buffet. The food was pretty good, although a few times I would get a mixture of hot food and room temperature food. I think that is because they mix in the fresh food with the food that has already been there for a while. Our waitress was a little pushy and felt like we were being watched the entire time we were eating. The restaurant was very clean though. The food bars were never a mess and there was always enough food in each bin to take from. With most buffets it’s really hit or miss, but I can say that the Eason Buffet was one of the better buffets I have been to in the area.

We just love Easton Buffet! Like other reviewers said, as far as Chinese buffets go, this place is one of the best in the area. There are many reasons why this buffer rocks. First of all, the food selection is great! There’s a steamed fish that my Chinese mother in law makes and it’s very authentic. The dumplings are homemade. I can taste the fresh chives which I know are a staple in homemade Chinese dumplings. My kids just love the honey chicken. It’s hard to find anywhere else. Second, the staff is friendly. They always give my half Chinese kids a chance to practice their mandarin. Which they never get from us. They’re always kind to us and literally come and talk to us and remember us even if it’s been months since we visit. On the negative side they are VERY skimpy on the crab legs. They bring out a little pan of them and usually there’s a line to get them. They’re not normally cooked well but yesterday they were the bomb– disclaimer: I’m pregnant and will eat everything in sight these days. But seriously, this place is clean and yummy and a family favorite in our house. Never disappoints.

As far as buffets go, Easton Buffet is pretty good! They have everything that you can imagine, PLUS a pretty good selection of sushi. I absolutely love the salmon here, and the dessert selection is pretty good. I also love their crab legs. My only gripe is that when I was there most recently, they got rid of their miso soup :( I’ve eaten here several times, with family, friends, and people from out of town– and I’ve never had a bad experience. The restaurant is very clean and the service has always been just fine. You can usually find a coupon as well!

Maybe a 3.5/4…been a couple times and really the food is consistently good. They have a really good sushi bar here too. It’s always well stocked with food, everything is always really nice and clean too. The selection is great as well from the salad bar options to seafood options, to the normal Chinese dishes like pepper beed, sweet and sour chicken and the soups like wonton and egg drop. The service is fast and they take good care of you with keeping drinks filled. I have always come with a group and they will split the check — AWESOME!
