E-Z Choice Chinese Restaurant

The last time I picked lunch up at this restaurant, the chicken in my chicken & broccoli was clearly past its freshness date — I was afraid to eat it, but had arrived back at my office and couldn’t take time to return it.
As it turns out, the last time I drove by (about a week ago), the place was closed, with UPS «we missed you» stickers affixed to the door. The phone numbers are both disconnected. I suspect feeding people spoiled food may have caught up to them.

E-​Z Choice Chinese Restaurant is under new management and is now called E-​Z Buffet. The new name is misleading because the old signage is still in place and the telephone number is the same.
We went there for dinner the other night after several attempts to dine there the week before failed. What a disappointment. The inside looks the same except that the service counter is in the front of the store. The waitress didn’t understand anything we said to her and the food quality is not the same as the previous owners used to serve.
We felt duped because there was no indication that the original E-​Z Choice owners were going to sell the business and the new owners are using a similar name. This used to be our favorite place to go for Chinese food… not any more…
