accused of shoplifting and then giving them a fake receipt, once they checked each of my items I didn’t even get an apology… class act

Closest to the family homestead. I’ve shopped on mother’s day and the day before christmas.(things just went wrong and those were the days i needed to be there) Both worked out well. Not a huge crowd. PRetty good vegie and deli selections. But no wheat free/gluten free items — unless they were all banished to another part of the store… We were able to get beer, undies(septic system failed and they couldn’t fix it for a few says — so no laundry… sigh), crackers, ginger, and other random odds and ends that one needs 3 hours before the store closes on christmas eve! I found the staff to be very nice and was able to get in and out relatively easily.

The tire center is impossible. Minimum 3 hour wait no matter when you go. We purchased four new tires and they didn’t tell us the rims were bent. Why would I purchase 4 new tires if I need to order rims and tires? Instead the guy just put 5 – 6 weights on that wheel to make it balance.

There is nothing special about this place… it is set up like every other Walmart I’ve even shopped. HOWEVER, this place has the most RUDE workers. The staff on the floor are constantly chatting with each other making me feel like I’m interrupting something if I have a question. I even had one lady who was restocking the shelves bang into me with her cart and we were the only 2 people in the aisle. No excuse me. No apology. She just kept on going. The cashiers don’t attempt to be friendly. I have gone there 3 times for work and each time… the same exact thing.

Looking for a game but they were out of stock. We waited in line 15 min. associate was knowledgeable about games. I have to give home credit for that

Our Warrenton Wal-mart is clean. If lines are long, usually someone will walk over and say«I can take you over here». Once I fretted looking over the French Bread rack and a guy came out and asked if I needed help. I said I was hoping to find the sliced French Bread instead of a loaf. He told me to wait, and seconds later he rolled out his cart with sliced French Bread on it and re-stocked the rack.(happy). I think the frustrating part is dodging all those boxes full of stuff in the middle of the isles. It’s almost like a roadway median. There are too many shoppers in this store to have all this bulky stuff in the isles. Christmas layaway? Bring a drink, snack and a book. A long one.

This is one of the nicest Walmarts I’ve ever been to. They’re open 24⁄7& they keep the store clean & well organized. Customer Service usually keeps the line moving fast for returns & they keep multiple registers open to keep it from backing up. They became a Super Walmart a few years ago, so they now sell food as well as all the regular stuff. They also have a lawn & garden, gun/sporting goods, & automotive service department.

All things being equal and only in relation to other Walmarts, this is the nicest one that I’ve been to in the area(or my hometown in CT). In relation to other department stores, no Walmart could ever be 5-star in relation to its category of stores. This place is clean and the service is good. It’s the best Walmart that I’ve been in, truly. This one has a grocery store and prices are — true to its reputation — very good. The quality of clothing not good for even for the price at Walmart. But, despite that, I would go here for convenience but only for certain items. There is no greeter at this store(4 times here and I haven’t seen one) so if you find this creepy, you won’t have to worry about this here…

WalMart in all its glory, and an adequate place to find more unnecessary stuff that clutters up your house. Selection emphasizes economy rather than quality, but generally customers don’t go to WalMart for high end or specialty items. Customer service runs about middle of the road since the staff has a limited understanding of the store’s stock and policies. The Tire and Lubrication section in particular struggles with their assigned tasks. WalMart customers are, well, WalMart people. Unpretentious, unselfconscious, unsophisticated, and sometimes unaware. Like me, for example. Although some are whiners, such as several of the reviews appearing here, mostly they are salt of the earth and very seldom will a suit appear in the aisles. In the late evening or night the WalMart parking areas get a little dicey. Occasional drug deals and other nefarious activities take place in the dark corners of the lot. During the day customers walking back and forth between the store and their vehicles must remain vigilant against the reckless and the rude drivers who only moments earlier were pedestrians themselves. However, other Warrenton establishments share similar features, and they are not unique to WalMart.

It’s Walmart. What do you want me to say. It’s big and clean. Low rating because of molding tomato, bad produce, horrid fluorescent sweatshirts!

Wal-mart. The store itself is nice enough, I figure the name alone implies that. But, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Seriously, this particular store really brings out the est of the people of Fauquier county. I was once walking across the pedestrian crosswalk in front of the entrance and someone in a beat up old truck honked, rolled down his window and yelled«You need to move! You’re blocking traffic!» To which I responded, «This is a cross walk, I am walking across, that’s how it works.» He then retorted, «I don’t care, you need to get across faster or we’re going to have a problem.» I then continued about my merry way. But let this be an example of how other customers will treat you on your expeditions to purchase cheap underwear and frozen dinners.

Do you enjoy scavenger hunts and obstacle courses? If so, this is the Walmart for you! Warrenton suffers from a lack of choices so I am basically forced to shop here at times. And, well, I have learned a thing or two. Namely, this store is just awful. So for the scavenger hunt game, it goes like this. Shop at the store for a few months and watch as your items get shuffled around the store. Then delight in hunting for them(bird seed, cleaning products, certain health and beauty stuff). Or go to the shelf where said product should be and be met with an empty shelf and out of stock product(especially in the diaper department!) And watch as it takes way too long to restock the product you are looking for(diapers, cat food, cat litter) Frustrating! Obstacle course items include the magical, ever-shrinking grocery aisles(seriously, you can barely get two carts to pass in those aisles!). And what really irritates me is they seem to have employees constantly stocking and taking up space in aisles and departments during busy shopping times. I worked at a grocery store and a retail store in my past and we usually did a lot of that at night. I only give this store two stars because of the low egg and milk prices. But in all seriousness, I am very fed up with this store. It is time for Warrenton/New Baltimore to give us a nicer Walmart — Manassas finally got with the program. I only shop there when I truly must and usually give my business to Super Target in Gainesville.
