I signed my mom and I up for the«Edible & Raised Bed Gardening» class today(4÷17÷16) at 1pm to 2:30,about a week ago. We got there 12 minutes before the class starts and went to customer service because they had no signs of where to go. They don’t know about the class at all and one of the two people there was in the garden area earlier that day. They called for someone but they never came up. After 20 minutes we figured going to the class was a lost cause and went to the garden area to look for plants .The garden center was very crowded but there was nothing with any classes. We got dirt and a plant then went to check out. A older man named John who said it was his first day asked if we need help. He helped put the dirt in our cart then asked if he knew anything about the class. He said no. On the way there we saw the woman that was at customer service and asked if they found out anything with the class. She said no but she could show us the raised bed’s. I will be signing up for the other classes they have, but will call to see if they are actually going to do the class before we drive there.

In general, I enjoy the Home Depot. There is really nothing that sets this HD apart from any other. I have always been greeted kindly, and have been given whatever help I may require. There is a «dinged» appliance section near the Door and Bath Sections along the back wall. I make sure to check it out every time I go. Usually there are only 3 – 4 items there, but it is worth noting. I have had better luck with the local nurseries when it comes to bushes, trees, etc. I would buy mulch locally before I bought it here. As with all Home Depots, if you present a military ID or Vet card, you get 10% off most products(lumber not included).

I purchased a dishwasher at Home Depot store number #8552. I was deceived by the sales person that I would receive an additional 10% off my first purchase of I opened a credit line in addition to receiving 10% off the promotion. The Manager made it right and gave me the $ 75.00 installation price. I took the day off work and when the people arrived to install the dishwasher they came in and said it will not fit it has to be 34″ That I need to call the store. They left without delivering the item and I called the store. The pro desk and the sales associate assured me that it would fit because it could be adjusted down to 331⁄8. My opening and current dishwasher is 33.5. The could not send the men back that day to reinstall it. I called to speak to the store manager twice about my problem. He never returned my call. I spoke to Serria the associate has helped me purchase the dishwasher and she assured it it would fit and set up delivery for today. I received a phone call Sunday confirming the delivery for today. They never showed up and called to say they would not be delivering the appliance it had not been paid for. I assured them that I had already received the Home Depot Credit Card statement and it had been paid for. They said to call the store. I did and was disconnected while on hold twice. I called and left another message for the sore manager which was not returned. I need help finding a person at Home Depot who cares that I am a paying customer and need help.

I love this Home Depot and glad it’s close by. There are great deals to be found and I haven’t had any customer service issues. Their outdoor section with stones bushes trees and flowers is great. Deals on mulch. Advice available. Good place to think of something to do.

Okay so I did go back– My brother always tells me that when you are dealing with a big company not to judge the whole company be 1 or 2 employees. I will never use them for cabinets, counters or anything like that but yesterday my daughter and I had dealings with 3 very nice and helpful employees. All 3 stopped what they were doing to help us. All 3 were knowledgeable and able to point me in the right direction to find the safest and most economical solutions to our home project issues. We were in the siding department and were helped by 2 young men looking for aluminum flashing, adhesive for siding and electrical department being helped my a more experienced gentleman looking for boxes to move outlets midday. Those guys were great!

Just returned your carpet cleaner. Sorry it was dirty. That’s the nature of cleaners. Sorry I didn’t rent your carpet cleaner cleaner for another outrageous fee. I also don’t appreciate your snide comments. Sears are more than happy to have my business. :(

We used this Home Depot location during our home remodel for everything when replacing all of our kitchen cabinets, kitchen appliances, & granite countertops. The staff in each department was extremely helpful and this location is super convenient. In addition to the big projects, we also bought many of our bathroom trim items and other misc stuff from here.

Mixed bag. I went in looking for several items: A gas grill, coolers, and electric fireplaces. I had to go to the Service Desk to get someone to come and talk with me about the grills. The grills have a sign on them that states«Free Assembly.» Turns out — the«Free Assembly» is they assemble the grill in the store — okay — great — how the hell do I get the grill home? It sure won’t fit in my car! Then he tells me they will rent me a truck to transport the grill. Ugh. Like I want to do that. Just offer me the option of delivering the grill to my house and then assembling it there. But Nooooooooooo! Couldn’t possibly offer that as an option! I think I will hold off on the grill for now. Then I asked if they had coolers. The same guy told me he had not seen any and therefore they must not have any. I then walked around and found them. They were up to high for me to reach — so I went back to the Service Desk — a guy named Randy promptly met me on the aisle and pulled two coolers down for me. I also ended up buying several CFL bulbs in red and green(for Christmas). I’ve never seen CFL bulbs offered in colors — but I should not be surprised.
