Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Love this place. Great smoothies and wraps! Convenient location… and nice staff. These shops take longer than your typical fast food restaurant, but not that much longer. The food is clean and fresh, and the smoothies are tasty! We stop in all the time.

My husband and I stop in here all of the time. We have not had any problem with the timing… although we already knew that Tropical Smoothie shops take longer than other «fast food». But they are so worth it!
My husband gets the Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap and a Pomegranate something-​or-​other smoothie. I LOVE the spinach and feta breakfast wrap, and the banana chia something-​or-​other smoothie… but I get it with regular bananas. We both get our smoothies with no sweetener, (do NOT understand putting sweetener in a smoothie)… and we add protein and, most often, some vitamins, too.
It is our favorite shop to stop in for a quick bite, both here and in our home town.
If you’re in a big hurry, consider calling ahead.:-)

Excellent good tasting healthful food. A little slower than other «fast food» but much higher quality ingredients and all made to order. This is my favorite place when my kids and I want something that is satisfying, fills us, and doesn’t leave us feeling bad afterwards.

Its usually 2 (what appear to be) kids who could care less about their jobs. It takes FOREVER to get whatever you ordered and they always have attitude.
I will say even though it takes ETERNITY the smoothies all ways turn out the exact same. Delicious.

The smoothie was good but pricey and way too big. The young man running the cash register went back and forth between handling cash and making smoothies without washing his hands. It took 10 minutes to get my smoothie, way too long. My smoothie price was incorrect as I had a coupon that I gave to the cashier but he didn’t ring it up right. When I told him he said «sh@*». The smoothies are good. Island green is my favorite and at $ 5 for a big 22oz smoothie the price isn’t too bad.

Great tasting smoothy, very flavorful! Awful customer service. 1 person diligently working their butt off making smoothies — no one else to be found. I was first person in line to order, 1 person behind me, & waited 6 mins to place order!

I have to preface this with the fact that ALL I’ve had there is a smoothie («Blimey Limey»). I’ve heard good things about it there (only from local high schoolers, I might add), and was getting my nails done next door, so thought it high time I tried them out.
A look at the menu and I picked the smoothie; about fell over when I learned it was nearly $ 5.00. That’s how much my lunch had been at Subway (and got a whole footlong sub!). Must be amazing, I thought.
I was the only customer there and watched the teenage boy look at his «cheat sheet» posted on the wall, regarding how to make it. That’s fine. I was surprised, though, when it took so LONG to make it… wow. Must definately be awesome, I thought. Had to have been close to 5 minutes, and that’s all he was making.
When I got it, it was 24 ounces. Good grief; no wonder we Americans are the fattest! I wished they had a much smaller $ 1.50 version! OK, but it HAS to taste devine, I told myself yet again…
Took a sip. Oh my. Really? Blech. Nothing special at all, and tasted artificial. Nasty. DO they even use real fruit? I should’ve paid more attention when he made mine. It tasted like a chemical powder. A couple sips and I threw it out. What a waste of money.
Though I saw on their menu they have sandwiches and wraps and salads, so does 50 other places in town, and this place is called Tropical SMOOTHIE, and if their namesake is such a flop, I won’t bother trying anything else. There are plenty are terrific restaurants in town.

I was enticed by the ‘deal’ with 2 tacos, either chicken or talapia AND a Tropical Smoothie… it was A-​OK, and a deal @ $ 4.99.

Overpriced. Smoothies they add sugar? Gross ingredients — avoid this chain!

Good food, but pricey. $ 6.50 for a wrap with chips or fruit & $ 4.50 for a smoothie. You end up paying $ 11 for a meal. It’s good & all, but I can’t justify it on a regular basis. The staff was friendly & the food/​smoothies came out quick.
