Stopped in a few evenings ago with the wife and in-laws. Unlike the many other visits we’ve made over the years, there were a couple of issues this time around. The food was unusually slow in coming, but that wasn’t the worst part. While waiting we began to realize that the piped-in music was surprisingly bad. As you know if you’ve been here, they always play blues music(Sirius/XM «B.B. King’s Bluesville», I believe.) But this time they had changed it to a «Soul» channel. You might think it was close enough not to matter — but nope, not the case. It definitely mattered. When you come in expecting to hear traditional blues and you’re blasted with K.C. and the Sunshine Gang and the Spinners, it matters a lot. It changed the whole experience and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. I hope this was a random fluke, if not we’ll be going elsewhere and mourning the loss of a great neighborhood hangout.

Yuk! Cheese fries the worst… everything I have ever tried has been horrible. The service is great, but the food is aweful.

We were coming back from a grueling trail in the Shenandoahs, and were in the mood for some BBQ. A lot of places were closed because of the holiday, and we ended up here. Service was good, but food was very run-of-the-mill chain like. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The best thing about our meal there tonight? The iced tea and our wonderful, bubbly server. She was a delight. Food was only OK. It was way too warm in the restaurant and I wished for a window to open. It took forever for the food to arrive and I chalk that up to the kitchen prioritizing the long drive-thru line first. There are a lot of barbecue places out there with better food and prices, so I won’t be back.

One of my favorite places to go out to eat in Warrenton! Never have had a problem with the service or quality of the food. Everything is hot and delish when it comes out. Love the fried okra, wings, pulled chicken, and of course the massive pitchers that they serve the freshest sweet tea in! Red Hot and Blue is a definite must. Perfect for a date if you request the cute secluded booth right behind the hostess stand :)

Yikes, we went yesterday and food was good but no Heat! And it will be days before the repair people will show up. Oh yeah they are still out of bread pudding. We’ll return in the future once the heat is back on since the food was good. :-)

We visited yesterday, Sept. 12, 2014. The chicken corn chowder was very good, served hot. Barbeque was tough, bland, and not a pleasant experience. Potato salad was gooey and had little flavor. Service was not good; we were mostly ignored by our waitress once we were served. I don’t think we will be returning – sad, because R, H, & B used to be one of our favorite places. But for dinner time on a Friday night, there were few customers, and unfortunately, I can see why.

Walked in stood in the front to wait to be seated… Walked out 10 minutes later after walking through the place looking for someone to greet us and sit us down and could not find one waiter. It’s a mess inside and the folks that were there looked very upset. Never going to that location again.

The fries were good. My mother always told me that if I couldn’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all. Yeah, I know, this is a review site — you’re supposed to put it all out there — the good, the bad and the ugly. But if you think about it, if the only thing I can say is that the fries were good, it speaks volumes about the rest of the experience. The service, the ambiance, the rest of the meal was sub-par. There are lots of better places around, do yourself a favor and drive on by this one.

Underwhelming to say the least. The fried pickles appetizer was good, but a tiny portion for the price. The margarita had a good flavor, but I had to send it back because there was a fruit fly floating in it. Nothing says dirty bar like a fruit fly. My ribs had a good flavor, but Hubby’s burger was burnt on the outside and pink on the inside, a difficult feat to achieve. Plus, he’s pretty sure it was a frozen patty. Service was lethargic, too, and the place was hot(I suspect the A/C was broken). We won’t be going back.

We love the pulled pork as a take-out option because we prefer to put our own barbeque sauce on it instead of their signature sauce which has too much vinegar for our taste. In fact, once we did the take-out option and used our own sauce my husband decided the one thing that always made him not like RH&B was their sauce and that their meat was PERFECT. Their potato salad is a decent old fashioned type and their coleslaw is perfect to put on your barbeque sandwich. They have a good old fashioned banana pudding and our son LOVES the Barbeque baked beans.

If I could choose zero stars, I would! This hole in the wall was disgusting! Floors were so sticky from not being cleaned properly and menus were covered in a film of grease & food. They claimed that their chicken BBQ was smoked on location, but when my hubby’s pulled BBQ came, it looked like steamed chicken(very plain & white). BBQ sauce was disgusting and tasted like crap. I had a cheeseburger, which looked like a frozen Bubba burger patty from your local grocery store. I also had garlic mashed potatoes, which were hard to get down. My daughter had kids mac&cheese and even she complained! It looked like cold Kraft Mac&cheese that had been reheated(very dry and stuck together). Don’t waste your money here! I never will again! Yuck!

We decided to come here after remembering how good it was years ago. It was as we remembered for the food. Service was a bit slow but it seemed more because there was only a couple of servers and a lot of customers. Got the onion loaf to start with and it wasn’t that great and wouldn’t recommend it. The nachos were great… must try if you haven’t already. Will go back again and would recommend the BBQ as well.

This is one of my favorites spots in Warrenton. The place is really grody but that is why I love it. There are a few places I like that look dirty and I still go back to them. This is the one exception. The amount of good food for the price is amazing. Quality and Quantity is what you are getting when you eat here. I always get ribs and fries. The ribs are always cooked just right and if there is some left over I have no problem taking it home. Perhaps the biggest reason I am always craving to come back is their appetizer, onion loaf. It is the greasiest most delicious onion loaf around Warrenton. The sauce they offer with it is divine. If you are looking for some delicious greasy barbeque this is the place to go. Love it!

After waiting 9 minutes in the drive thru… I got home to find that my pulled pork still had to be pulled. What I got were huge slabs of meat that had just been cut off the pig and stuffed in my container. If I had wanted to butcher my own meat I would have cooked at home! Then the«barbeque sauce» was terrible. Tasted like spicy ketchup. Even had that raw tomato taste. No sweetness or smoke. Just tomatoes and spice. Ewww. I will not be back.

This is better than average Q for a franchise. Consitently good Q. I like that they have several types of sauce, hot, hotter and hottest.

A nicer RH&B compared to some of the other ones. Very friendly service and really good barbecue.

I love RH&B. The staff is ALWAYS friendly & the food is always great. You get a coupon for your birthday every year for a free meal up to $ 10.99& even if you don’t have a coupon, the food is always worth it. The portions are good & the food is always fresh. My favorite dishes are the sausage & the pulled chicken platter. The salads are great with amazing ranch dressing. The sweet potatoes are my favorite side along with the famous potato salad. This place never disappoints!

Unlike the RH&B location in Manassas — this location is a full service dine in restaurant with a full-blown menu. We had lunch here today after visiting one winery — needed some fuel before hitting the next winery! We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very cheerful and friendly. I ordered the Delta Catfish — two catfish fillets battered and fried — with french fries and cole slaw. Water was served to each of us in a mini pitcher. Fish was hot, crisp, flaky, and delicious — served with several wedges of lemon and a side of tartar sauce. Fried were also good — Cole slaw was, well Cole Slaw — nothing special. My friends ordered a salad and a Cajun burger and reported them to be quite tasty. There is a Drive-Thru at this location so that you can pick up to go orders. I can’t wait to come back here again!
