McDonald’s

It’s been a very long time since the kids and I ate here. This location always seems to have the drive through wrapped around to the very edge of business 29. On the inside it looks like there’s a small grip on what could break out as mass confusion any second. I don’t recall ever getting bad food here but I just lost interest once the combo meal costs started matching actual resaurant prices.
We went on Sunday because we got some pretty good coupons in the mail. We got the BOGO Quarter pounder with cheese. It was o.k. Not a lot of flavor. Fries were warm. Ketchup tasted too thin and salty. Not sure what brand that is in the pumps. One thing I don’t like is having CNN on. I can’t stand hearing or watching the news anyway, much less when I’m out to eat lunch. But this is all my opinion and why I haven’t been in so long… I give it a 2 because the food isn’t gross but there are better options in town.

It seams that every time I try to buy breakfast for my family and take it home:
— I wait 20+ minutes in the drive thru
— I get home to find items missing fir my order
Yes. They did it to me again. I guess I should learn not to come back here.
So I went back. The big solution is to give me free food I shouldn’t be eating in the first place.

Service here was very, very slow both inside and at the drive thru. They had three cashiers inside and no one to wait on as everyone ordered and many people waiting on food. Seemed the should have moved at least one cashier into food prep to reduce wait time. The breakfast sandwiches were made right though.

Terrible. Each time I come it’s something else that they can’t get right they have plenty of staff but the drive through takes wayyy to long to order two mc flurries. Then they get it wrong. All the kid could say was sorry. No options of getting the right one, no reasons as to why I got the wrong order. Utterly ridiculous. McDonald’s should investigate the leadership of this establishment. I know McDs is great at other much busier locations.

Terribly slow service and stale food. I’ve waited in the drive-​through for as long as 15 minutes only to pull up to the window and them not have a regular item from the menu in stock!
Worst McDonald’s experience ever — I regularly drive 10 extra minutes if we want McD’s to avoid it!

Worst McDonalds ever, ordered an egg white english muffin without cheddar cheese. I got it without egg white. If fast food employees want $ 15/​hr they need to show they deserve it. These employees do not.

If I could give this a place a negative one I would! The help is awful. The drive-​thru regularly screws up the order and the wait is ridiculous.
Just had a particularly bad experience where I waited 20 minutes in the drive-​thru to find out they didn’t get my order right. I went inside and waited another 15 minutes to get fries.
This is the last time I am going here. I will give my business to Wendy’s or Chic-​Fil-​A when I need a quick meal in Warrenton.

The owner ought to be ashamed. I went in on a wonderful Saturday afternoon of looking at Fall leaves. It wasn’t even crowded. There were two registers open and I got into one line. The man took the customer’s order ahead of me and started to fill it. I waited and waited for him to come back and take my order. Meanwhile the other cashier stood around waiting for other customers and ended up taking three more orders ahead of me without ever looking around to ask if I needed something. She was about to take the fourth customer ahead of me when I asked if the other clerk was coming back. She looked at me like she didn’t understand. Then she looked at him and he just shook his head and said «I’m serving.» That meant there were about six people «serving» and one cashier. So I told her she’d taken three people ahead if me and to take my order. She didn’t apologize and she threw down on the counter my ten dollars change. Then, while waiting for my simple order, I went to fill my drink and use the restroom. The first two toilets to the right as you walk in the door had poop on the toilet. When I came out of the rest room I waited another five minutes for my order, and somehow that fourth customer, whose order was taken after mine, got her order first! I was livid. My mother owned and ran a McDonalds in NY for twenty years. Nothing close to my horrible experience would ever have occurred. Shame. McDonalds corporate knows there are terrible, slow, dirty restaurants out there and they seem to do nothing about it.

I’ve been to this McD’s several times since the first review. There’s no problem with the food, but the drivethru is wicked slow! This past Sunday at 3:30 PM (no lunch rush, mind you) I waited over 20 min to order and get my food.
They must need more people is all I can’t figure. The staff were apologetic and gave my daughter an extra toy in her happy meal.
The dude taking orders and running the cash register was helping the other put the orders together.
I’ll go there again I’m sure, because I love Mc’Ds — and already had a bad experience at BKs down the street.
Annoyed that the mgr doesn’t staff up. I saw several cars leave the drivethru line because true were sick of waiting.
I wonder how many people were there because Chik-​filet is closed on Sundays!

I’m giving three stars because it’s a typical McDs franchise. You know what to expect at your average McDs & this delivers the usual. They’re open 24 hours & are super convenient for that greasy-​food craving at 2:00am.

Very slow service. Observed one employee sneezing into her hands & continue to fill to go orders without washing her hands.

Stopped in here one morning for an emergency breakfast — meaning I was so hungry I was ready to gnaw on sticks and old tires!
Ordered a Sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin and hash brown. The breakfast sandwich was made fresh and hot — was very tasty as they go. However, the hash brown was only warm and tasted like it had been sitting for a few minutes. Had the hash brown been hot and crispy, I would have given them four stars for a tasty, hot breakfast! Docking them a star due to the hash brown…

Normally I don’t consider fast-​food places «reviewable». I mean, let’s face it, each one is normally a cookie cutter of the next. And I really don’t frequent them that often — most likely when I’ve rushed out of the house without eating something, but need something in my stomach pronto (car sickness is my enemy).
This particular Mcdonald’s, however, continues to amuse me. Several years ago when they first had omelets on the breakfast menu (not sure if they still do that), I ordered an omelet that was supposed to be either «Western» or «Spanish». Either way, it was supposed to contain a bunch of different ingredients. Well, apparently there was a mixup at the premade omelet mix factory, because what I received was an omelet that was 10% eggs & 90% scallions. Yup — just scallions, nothing else. And you know, I like scallions. Just not enough of them to turn eggs green & first thing in the morning — lol! I know I should have returned it, but we were in a hurry, so I ate half, tossed the rest, & chalked the resulting heartburn up to experience.
So I went thru the drivethru today, just to grab a burger (again — left house without eating — shame on me), & lo & behold they’ve once again done something else that is beyond comprehension because it’s so utterly STUPID. They have a guy standing in a little phone-​booth-​type thing outside to take your order — but he’s situated about 15 – 20 feet in front of & away from where the menu board is! So if you’re not sure what they have or what you want, you’re basically screwed — lol!!! I was actually laughing when I gave my burger order to the guy. I mean really — how totally STUPID is this? LOL!!! If they still have this setup next time I decide to pop in there, I’m thinking I’ll put the car in park, get out, & walk over to the board, even if I don’t need to. I think it would be fun!
