I had two HVAC units installed in Oct 2015, recently one of the units’ humidifiers was not working correctly and the thermostat screen had three thin vertical lines running through the center. I called Furr and they had a technician out the next day (Saturday). Phonephet A arrived and spent two hours diagnosing the humidifier problem and eventually resolved it. The thermostat is being replaced. Timely. professional and thorough!

I used FH Furr twice. First visit was to snake a clogged toilet. The plumber got the toilet
snaked and then told me there would be an extra charge to place it back. The plumber
then proceeded to tell me I could save money by doing it myself, which I did.
Second visit– HVAC emergency. Furr was the first availiable, my HVAC unit was 5years old at the time, the tech said the evaporator coil needed changed out. $ 1800.00 to replace, I could not believe him due to the unit being so new. I declined the work and had him recharge the unit. I later had it checked by our regular guy and he found no leaks. Nothing done but the freon charge and it was fine. BEWARE — THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF !!

the work is good, but they rip you off. iff its not an emergency, get a second quote. its cheaper to pay the $ 60 call out fee than paying full retail price. i feel like a dunce for not getting a second quote. new water shut-​off valve $ 233. new pressure regulator $ 569. i come to fiind out the pressure regulators are user adustable, so he could have adjusted mine (he said my pressure was too high), but replacing it was more profitable for f.h. furr. i feel taken advantage of. hopefully ive learned from it.
