I had been shopping around for a few weeks for some plumbing quotes on various projects. I learned of Jenkins plumbing through home advisor, I can’t believe the customer service I received almost as if I have known them all my life. No scaring me with things I didn’t need, prices, or hidden costs. Very professional and knowledgeable of my issues. I have read the negative feedback from some of the past customers, I asked about that, since the reviews they have hired another plumber as business was overburdening and now they have a better way of estimating arrival times. I would recommend them to anyone on a budget and needing work done. I’m also scheduled to have some gas lines installed for my gas logs!!!

Very positive experience working with Will from Jenkins plumbing. Had quite a large plumbing repair requiring underground excavation. His estimate came in thousands below some of the other larger companies in the area. The work was completed without any problem and at the original price quoted. In reading some of the other reviews, I would just say that this is a smaller operation than your regional/national companies, but his price was very fair and have nothing but positive things to say about my experience.

Unlike the other two reviews for this company I actually worked with Will. I called Jenkins Plumbing and Gas and discussed with Will that I was looking for someone to install natural gas on my deck for my grill. We discussed a little on the phone what I needed and we scheduled a time for the following afternoon to meet at my place so he could take a look at my existing lines. He was 15 minutes early and was there before I was. He spent an hour with me just going through options as we looked at the existing lines and under my deck to get me the best options and determined how much gas flow I had so we knew what I could actually support on my deck(looking for grill and gas fireplace hookups). I scheduled with him for a couple days later to have the actual work done. Once again, he was there waiting for me when I got home from work. He explained to me everything he was doing, what the code was and why he was doing what he was doing. He even made a point to show me his licenses(can’t recall any licensed contractor ever making that additional effort) for the work. I couldn’t be happier with the work that was done as well as him taking the time to explain things numerous times. There is no doubt that I will recommend him to any of my neighbors looking for this type of work.

wful. We were told the plumber would arrive at 9am(not a window of time, scheduled for 9am), so we rearranged our schedules to be sure we’d be here. At 10am, we were told they«could» be there in 30. 10:30 comes and goes, 11am they say they are 10 minutes away. At 11:45 we cancelled, after wasting an entire morning and nothing fixed. They finally showed up at noon and I wouldn’t let them in, I don’t let people into my home that I can’t trust and this company is untrustworthy. These people have no respect for your time.

I live in Georgia but we still rent a condo in Reston, VA. We called Jenkins Plumbing to do a water heater repair. The owner, Will, was nice until I said I was a tenant and then jumped to say that he doesn’t deal with tenants, which I understood. I asked my landlord to contact him and we made an appointment for Friday at 2 pm. An hour later he wrote an email to my landlord the appointment was confirmed for Thursday at 10am. I called him about the new appointment time, and he said in an annoyed voice that he had to change it to Thursday due scheduling conflict. On Wednesday night I texted him confirming the appointment for the next morning and he said«I will be there on Friday at 2pm.» When I said«you changed my appointment to Thursday at 10am» he answered :“this is very confusing” and added later«I will be there tomorrow at 10». 10AM came and passed and around 11:30 I get a call from my landlord that he was pissed at the location(Reston Town Center) and he couldn’t find parking and when the landlord tried to explain where to park he said«Sorry mam, I’m going to have to pass on this» and hang up. Very unprofessional, rude and unorganized.
