This is the type of place where if you are into food quantity, not quality, you’ll probably love it. The portion sizes are huge. However, who wants a big plate of bad food? This was recommended by several of my sisters coworkers and all I have to say is… they need get out more. I don’t think that plate of food contained one dollar of actual food ingredients. You get a huge plate of white rice soaked in soy sauce.(High blood pressure anyone?). A bunch of onions with a few soggy zucchini, and some your protein of choice, also soaked in soy sauce and salty. That is pretty much the entire menu. Everyone in my party panned the food. Everyone. The statement was, no need to even review, because we will not be back.

We went to one a few months ago when we first moved to Robins. The waitstaff wasn’t very friendly, took a long time after we were seated to get even drinks ordered. The food was way below sub par. For how many sushi and hibachi places are in the area, I will be fine not ever going back to Genji. Quality was not worth the price.

Went there a few months ago. We walked out. Didn’t feel welcome and place did not seem clean. Maybe we just hit them on a bad night.

Hibachi without the cooking done in front of you. Both locations are a little run down, dirty carpet and a mildewy smell. The food tasted ok, but it was greasy. The veg in my chicken teriaki was zuccini and onions-that’s it. I would have loved some carrots, green onions, etc… It was a little expensive for the experience.

This is my favorite place in the world to eat… Seriously, spicey chicken with orange sauce is the most amazing piece of meat that has ever been in my mouth… If I was on death row THIS, would be my last meal…

Love Genji! Friendly service, consistently good food, and reasonable prices! They have incredibly quick, cheap lunch specials. If you like gyoza, theirs is always perfectly crisp without being greasy.

This was the second Japanese steakhouse I went to in the same day — thanks to my pregnancy cravings. I really wanted some good Japanese style«white sauce». So here I ended up at this restaurant. Ordered the teriyaki chicken meal. The chicken was good, the sauce — too plain. The side was a dry salad with just lettuce. Overall not too impressed.
