FATZ Cafe

Had their specialty chicken which was very good. Loved the fresh veggies and sweet potato fries. Service was not great which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. Gave up on my server to come back to the table and had to ask someone else to talk care of my requests.

We were really hoping to like this, with all of the great reviews, but it must not have been our night. We ordered a 6 oz top sirloin, the calabash chicken, the pecan trout, and a kids grilled chicken. The sirloin had no flavor or texture; we kept adding salt and A1 for some sort of steaky flavor. The Calabash chicken is like fried chicken nuggets. The pecan trout was OK, but not tasty. The portions were pretty small, so we kept asking for rolls to fill up the empty spaces in our stomachs. The servers were pretty slow this night, as there were some new trainees, so we could understand that. Still, it wasn’t the best experience, so we skipped dessert so we could get out faster. We would not recommend this place.

This used to be a nice place to dine, well that’s gone, small portions, over cooked, fries didn’t come out with the meal, chicken and rice soup was just water and rice, awful

Thus is a nice place with good food. I got the Pimento Burger. It was cooked to perfection. My friend got the Calabash chicken. It too is great, melts in your mouth. Service was fine, waiter forgot the rolls. We come here periodically and like it. It is worth a visit.

The pecan trout has become one of my favorites! The manager Amanda was so very professional and really relates to the patrons of this restaurant. No wonder FATZ has such good reviews in WarnerRobins.

Excellent service and very delicious food. Steakhouse salmon with very rich Brussels sprouts. If you go to Warner Robins eat at Fatz.

This place is on par with Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, etc. Very good «American» food at good prices. Upon your first visit, you’ll be asked if you’ve ever tried their calabash chicken. Basically marinated, fried chicken tenders. And you’ll be given a sample if it is your first visit. Tenders were hot and juicy, not sure about the whole 24 hour marinade and then buttermilk marinade. But I’m not a chicken tender fan anyway. If you want tender chicken, roast it on the bone.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the service. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Warner Robins is a very small town and both my mother and my sister were/​are long time teachers so they are ‘semi’ celebrities and I cannot have any public meal with my sister without some former student/​parent/​teacher walking up and hugging on her, saying hello, showing her pictures, etc. Back to the food.
My party ordered the ribs with the steamed veggies and LOVED the veggies. I ordered the calabash salad. Hmm… the bacon, the cheese, the fried chicken were competing for most greasy/​salty. I wouldn’t get this salad again. It was way too heavy. And I didn’t even get salad dressing.
But the chicken was good, the service was excellent and we would probably come again.

This was my first visit to a FATZ café… well, my wife says my second, I dunno, that one must have been under whelming. In town on business, I was looking for a steak and Unilocal!pointed me here… well done again, Unilocal!
A «shout out» to Corie, my server. She was courteous, friendly, chatty and took excellent care of me. She went over the menu a bit and tried to steer me towards the chicken strips…“That’s what we’re known for” she says.
I was definitely in the mood for steak (I had chicken for lunch) but, miss Corie, after having that one sampler, you were right, I’ll have those next time!
Seasoned and cooked perfectly it was excellent.
I ordered the 12oz ribeye, with red-​skinned mashed potatoes and a house salad. Somewhere in there, 4 little poppy seed rolls with a sweet butter showed up.
Those were hot, soft little pieces of goodness, but I had to save room.
The salad wasn’t bad at all. The steak was outstanding! Perfectly spiced, perfectly cooked and juicy.
My only «ding» would be the mashed potatoes… didn’t care for them. I don’t know why, they seemed a little bland. The sweet tea was pretty good as well, not bitter and not overly sweet.
Overall, I’m a fan and will put FATZ café on my list for the next visit to the area.

I’ve found a new favorite place to eat in the Warner Robins area! Our server, Marcus was very friendly and efficient. The food was hot and fresh and delivered quickly. Sarah Harris obviously runs a tight ship. We WILL be back!

I had ordered a chopped steak meal with soup and potato. It also came with rolls. The meal was worth the five stars, but the gentleman that waited on my to-​go order was helpful, informative and kind. The food service business like many professions is a thank-​less job, but these attributes can save or bring the meal to a higher level. The actual food review, the hamburger steak was fresh, tasty and the onions with the brown gravy made it juicy. My potato started off plain tasting but with the loaded items, made it a meal in itself. The chicken and rice soup was plentiful and still hot after the long ride to the house. The small rolls were great with the meal, they had included some steak sauce, but the steak did not need it.

Bar service is second to none! Bartenders with wit and humor are always a plus! Caitlyn, Brian, and Sarah are on top of things. Just need more Newcastle in stock once in awhile. Great job folks!

So for service at the bar by the girl and guy… (Brian I think and Katelyn?) I would give a solid 6+.
Food a solid 5. I ordered a little off menu (grilled instead of deep fried chicken wrap with a side of balsamic vinaigrette) and was a little surprised since it was actually very good.
Total of a three instead of a five because:
1 star… Bar too small.
Negative 1 star… They had to make my «Jack and Coke» a «Pepsi and Jack»… Because the manager must be communist.

Well this was mine and mothers first time here. Not impressed. We both got hamburgers. She got an onion burger and I got pimento cheese. Definitely frozen hamburgers. She ate half and said she was disappointed. The sweet tea was good. To me this place is just average.

Absolutely wonderful! Bring your appetite! I stopped here on a visit to WR and I’m sooooooooo glad I did. Calabash chicken is great, citrus lime chicken is great… and the Cobbler is to die for! Customer service is amazing, our server was Jaleesa, and she was AWESOME! Will be back again!

Most enjoyable from the greating we received to the tasty appetiters to our meal. Very flavorful. We recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Please stop by for happy hour. Very delicious.

With a name like FATZ this isn’t the place to visit when you’re adhering to your WW daily point allowance, or at least it isn’t for me.
It was a trio of burgers, FATZ ONYUM BURGER — piled high and the plate barely held it, OLD FASHIONED CHEESEBURGER — a classic that was flavorful and juicy and finally the BLACK JACK BACON BURGER — I’m a sucker for bacon and with the added Cajun seasonings I put this on par with all of the gourmet burger joints.
Our server was a blast, joking with us on each time he passed by the table.
A great meal that was reasonably priced.

I’ll be honest. I knew it was going to be greasy going in, but its greasy to the point where its hard to avoid getting it on you somehow.
I had two sides, asparagus and grilled vegetable skewers. It is very possible apparently to put slap butter and seasoning on anything. Chicken tenders were actually pretty good as they advertise
It all tastes good which is why I gave it a 4 star, maybe 3.5 would be most accurate, but I’ll be honest I left with grease stains on my clothes and I feel some regret about how much fat I just took in. But I won’t penalize them since good olé southern comfort food is what they are about. Fair warning though!

Awesome! Everything had here has been good to go. Red skin mashed potatoes, asparagus, Calabash Chicken, roast beef, on and on.
Gotta crazy double fudge brownie thing and coffee on the way now. Foodgasm

Just had to update this we’ve returned several times since my original post. They always have good service. The food is pretty consistent. It is the best place we have found still to eat in WR ON REGULAR. BASIS.
They are still setting the standard ck out my full review
