I never visited Uncle Joe Dautcher’s Farm Market because I’m not one to buy produce from a farm stand but I work around the corner and over the summer, I always saw their signs for pulled pork and other home-style meals and pies. Needing a change from my usual lunch spot, I decided to give this place a shot and I was very impressed! I believe it was the owner who helped me and I ordered the meatloaf sandwich which was amazing! It also came with potato salad, I’m not a fan of potato salad so I can’t really rate that. I also bought chocolate chip cookies which were great! They also have a lot of other food there as well but my co-workers were very jealous once I came back with my lunch. Just remember it’s a farm stand so don’t expect a fanfare, just expect great home style meals!

Agree totally — a little bit of country straddling housing developments & industrial parks, on fairly gritty Mearns Road. Their sticky buns are my all-time-favorite, John loves the Snickerdoodles, my vegetarian soul is sorely tried by their ready-to-bake chicken pot pie(which is expensive enough to be truly credible) — do my best to not even think about their chili & pulled pork. Early season tomatoes are gorgeous. Introduced when their decadent goodies showed up at a local farm market. Totally hooked!

Uncle Joe’s is a little bit of Petticoat Junction in Warminster. The store is jam-packed with antique bric-à-brac along with beautiful local produce, amazing baked goods, small batch jams and jellies, and take-away meals. As to the latter, the pulled smoked pork is divine. The owner excels in baking, with her fruit pies, butter cakes and cookies all receiving high marks from family and friends. The pies are completely made from scratch. No canned fillings here. Judy is now baking on the premises, and the fragrance of baking pie is intoxicating! She also is serving breakfast as of May 2015. We can’t wait to try it! The store, located on the northwest corner of Mearns and Ivyland Roads, is easy to miss because it looks like a weathered farm building. Do keep your eyes peeled for it, however, because it is worthy of your consideration.
