Rita’s is always great. The service at this one is exactly what you’d want and expect. So is the product. We come back to this one because of convenience and lack of disappointment! The parking lot is really small and kind of difficult to navigate through when it’s busy but you’re going for water ice, not expecting valet lol

I’m kind of unimpressed with this location as a whole. They’re one of the last locations to get new items, but that’s not what aggravated me the most. I bought my son a small cone yesterday. Chocolate with sprinkles. I was charged $ 4.30. That seemed like highway robbery for a SMALL ice cream cone. I went back to check their menu and it says it’s $ 3.99 for a LARGE custard. So the owner of the Ritas, himself, way overcharged me. Don’t think I’ll be returning to this Ritas.

This place has become a tradition with my co-workers and fiancée. They simply have no competition. It’s priced right and always so very tasty. I always end up getting the next size up or the one up from that one which isn’t so good for my diet(it’s so good)!

I really liked Rita’s and so did the daughter. So much so that she still has yet to forgive me for not taking her here daily for the four days we were in the neighborhood. The service was fast and friendly, the custards and Italian ice were all delicious, and the prices were all very reasonable. But if I must choose, I would go for the gelati. It is customizeable to suit one’s taste, but we ordered ours with chocolate custard and the Italian cherry ice. The chocolate custard with the cherry shaved ice was simply bliss on a hot summer day. Smooth Italian ice, smooth frozen custard… Is it a wonder we are Rita’s fans?

I have only been to this Rita’s once, even though it is on the same block as one of my favorite restaurants, Yazmin. and on my way to my credit union. Centrally located, between County Line and Street Roads, which are both major highways. Mike’s York Street Bar & Grill is at one end and a major drug store at the other end. This Rita’s offers window service and a good sized parking lot. Hubby is more of a «let’s stop for ice cream» than I am. Rita’s is a franchise. so most of them have the same offerings, but the Italian ice is their main squeeze, because it is what ultimately blends into or is layered with your other treats. When I read Georgia peach, I could not pass this up, even though I was tempted to try one of there tropical blends. All products are made with real fruit and juices and they are famous for their charity drives. Hubby grabbed a watermelon frozen ice and bought a few extras to take home and put in the freezer. We are surrounded by Rita’s stands and they did start in our area and are growing faster than you can say Rita’s Water Ice.
