I’ve lived in the area for many years and just found Rita’s, what a great find! The ice is the best I’ve had and the ice cream is fantastic! I wish we had a Rita’s in Fishkill on Rt. 9.

I’m not sure why everyone else rated so low? This place I great, I’d rather go here than any of the other local icecream shops.
Even though the inside is very small, there’s a large outside area in the back and some seating available in the front too!
There’s always people there, so that should tell you something!

Waldwick, NJ
Small indoor area, huge outdoor picnic table area. Never know this Rita’s was here seemingly in the middle of no where. The employees are nice and are kind enough to recommend mixing flavors. It’s great on a summers day, especially when you can get a group of 20 or more and just dominate the place.
I love the frozen custard, and slushy like drinks, but go after lunch or their slushy drinks may not be frozen enough yet.

Brand new place for custard and ices. My son is a fan, I’d much rather the homemade ices, ice creams and gelatos you can find locally.
My coconut-​flavored ice tasted a bit soapy, but it was the first day and they were packed. My son loved his cotton candy-​flavored ice. Hey, at least the cup it came in is compostable!
