You know when you’re just«in the area» on a random weekday and you need breakfast? Fast? No thrills? Wilson’s fills that need for you! Cheap, very traditional diner food with no frills(not totally homemade or at all). I like the character of the old diner(bathroom available and although it’s access is outside, it’s heated inside) and the service is friendly. But I really love that nicely browned mash up of corned beef every once in a while and mixed with some nice over easy eggs, it somehow feels like being home(even when no one at home would ever think to make something like this…). :)

Not much to say that hasn’t been said 100 times already. As far a diners go, Wilson’s is exactly what you would hope/expect. The food comes out quickly, is prepared precisely as you ordered it, and usually delivered with a joke from the guy who I assume is the owner. The food is consistent in terms of quality and speed. We’ve been several times, but only for a quick breakfast on our way to or from something else. You don’t really linger here because there is such a high turnover and frankly its not that comfortable. At least during the weekend. But who cares, you didn’t come here for the comfort. You came for the eggs and watered-down diner coffee! Never did lunch but am interested in some of the meals they advertise on the wall. Make sure you bring cash as credit cards are not accepted. We’ll be back, but it we want to linger and do anything more than eat and run, we’ll go back to Josephs 2, down the street. Would have been 4 stars but a leak in the roof dripped down my back! Helps with the ambiance of the classic American diner, but didn’t do much to keep my dry… a minor complaint that will certainly not prevent us from coming back.

Wonderful diner experience. Got to sit right in front of the chef, who is on fire! The team work is great, and the manager is keeps everyone calm while plates fly around. Can’t believe how many people they serve at the same time. The place is legit with a real diner look, and although it is super small it adds to the charm. Food smells delicious, even a block away! Reliable, classic diner food. English muffin is delish. Wilson special is the bomb.

This place used to be fantastic, used to be the best diner anywhere. Then the old people who ran it retired and moved back to Greece. They sold it to an employee(?) who really changed the place. The difference was huge. The homefries were hard and oily… the food just took on a mediocre taste. It felt like the owner was cutting corners to pay off the original owners faster

The food is delicious, served fast and staff are incredibly friendly. Nothing fancy, but a good solid diner, the way diners should be.

My favorite place to get breakfast with my friends! The owner is the best, he always cracks us up and he makes the best food. Fast! There are a few booths and a breakfast counter with an open kitchen. Also very affordable! Definitely a fun stop for breakfast.

This is an old-school gem of a place. Amazing breakfast served diner style without all the extra grease. Pancake lovers, the pancakes are awesome. If you are hungry for breakfast, get the Wilson Special!

Service was quick and fast. Eggs were cooked perfectly. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and they still served us. I had the gyro and feta omelet and my sister had the ham and cheese. Good quality meats and cheese. Very friendly and nice wait staff. Coffee was mediocre, they put the cream and it was weak. Other than that not bad.

A very old school place, everything about it felt very average. The menu was basic, the seating limited, and the service quick. The food was decent and the prices were okay as well. We felt like we probably wouldn’t come back but we didn’t regret the meal altogether. Worth a visit and maybe they’re going to strike you different.

As you walk in the over whelming smell of fried animal fat takes you home to grandmas kitchen. The coffee is black as night and hot as the sun with classic Americana taste of Folgers shining through. Served hot and fast this location has a high through put but lacks nothing in quality. If every back in the area I’m sure to return.

Probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. This place is easily worth your time if you’re in town. The owner was very personable and funny, and was made everyone who walked through the door smile. If you want an authentic diner and some of the best breakfast food you’ve ever had, Wilson’s is the place to go.

Wilson’s Diner is a good place to grab a quick breakfast with a small group of people. The space inside Wilson’s diner is very small and cozy. The windows are lined with small booths and the other side of the diner has bar stools. If you have a party larger than four adults, you may want to look elsewhere or go very early to snag two booths next to each other. The bar stools are very tight, so keep that in mind if you are hung over and want your own«personal space». I enjoy the bar stool area as I like watching the cook man the griddle. The food and coffee here are great, the service and food preparation is lighting fast. Parking can be tough on a busy weekend, but normally you can get a spot on Main st with a few illegal u-turns. Tip: Students with valid college cards save 20% off of their bill. Cash only so make sure you hit the ATM before heading in.

Went this morning based on previous reviews. Was not disappointed. It wasn’t even full, which seemed strange for a Saturday morning, but after seeing how quickly we got served it made sense. Corned beef hash omelette was delicious and the home fries were good too. We didn’t know it was cash only, so we had to go next door, but that’s really our fault for not checking ahead of time. The only bad part was the coffee. It tasted REALLY burnt and just generally low quality. As we were leaving the cook called me and my friends pretty and gave us lollipops, which was a nice gesture. We’ll be back for sure!

This is not the kind of diner where you should go for something plain. Not when they have crunchy French toast(with cornflakes on top) and coconut French toast with caramel or chocolate. Don’t even get me started on the M&M pancakes! The owner is amazing, he is always interacting with his customers(he’s great with kids). Price wise this place is amazing too. For what normally we would have paid upwards of $ 30 for, we spent $ 20. Wilson’s has been our go to breakfast joint for years!

Maybe I had set my expectations a little too high. I have heard from very many people about how great this place is, so, I finally decided to stop in on one day(which was today) The locations was quiet on this particular day, although according to what I am hearing, it can get pretty busy in here. After all, they do open at 5AM. If people did not show up so early, then why open? Anyways, I had the Wilson’s Special. It was a plethora of food, for a very, very reasonable price. Food was cooked rather quickly, but not underdone, or overdone by any means. However, the food was very simple. It was«just» everything. Just eggs, just toast, just bacon. There was absolutely nothing special about the very simple meal. There is nothing wrong with this, but after everything I had heard, I was somehow expecting more. The service here was nice, but there is a little bit of room for improvement. Again, there was nothing wrong, so to speak, but this place did not leave me wanting to return very soon. Yupp, A-OK sums it up pretty well.

A cash only breakfast joint in a real breakfast car. The car has the original wood interiors, fridge, it’s got booths and of course stools at the counter where you can chat with the owner while he cooks. The food is always tasty! And I’ve been here quite a bit as my boyfriend lives just down the road.
