We went there after drifting to their dock and couldn’t find anyone but a boat owner. then we finally found a guy that worked there. we had called vessel assist and they were an hour and a half away. so to pass the time away we went into the town to find somewhere with air conditioning and we came back to get the others but he made us go back to the dock and we had to untie and drift away or pay to stay for 20 more minutes. The guy didn’t even close yet. When we usually break down marinas are always so helpful but this one was not. I WOULDNEVERINMYLIFETIMECOMEBACKHERETOANYBUSINESSORRECOMMENDANYONEELSESHOULD.

I have kept my boat in a slip there for about 10 years now. Since I am outside, the animal droppings are not an issue for me. I agree with other reviewers, the guys that work there are terrific, friendly and helpful. The location alone is enough to earn a 5 star rating. Right at the start of the Delta and a reasonable distance to downtown Sac in the other direction. Also lots of amenities walking distance from the boathouse, including a fairly well stocked marine friendly hardware store in Walnut Grove. Most important is that the marina is stumbling distance from Al the Wops, a great watering hole with lots of local color.

Rented a boat with a pull floating for the day from them this past weekend. They are a nice, small business. Not the newest facilities, but the people running it were nice and friendly. Service was really good.

The service is great as Noah and everyone else is super friendly. There is less rat or bat droppings but the smell of rat or bat pee or whatever is still overwhelming when it is hot. It’s been 2 years and the rat or bat problem is still there. Just not as bad I guess. Just gave them 2 stars cause they are always super friendly.
