4 $ for egg mcmuffin and they give water in tiny cups with no lid. When I asked for a cup with a lid. She said she had to charge $ 1.90 for it. No drive through.

Nasty discussing food. Love your body a little more and eat somewhere else. Better yet, go to the store and make yourself something at home.

The Sausage McMuffin breakfast item has gone up from $ 1 to $ 1.30. A huge 30-cent increase. Hope my paycheck goes up 30 percent in one hop.

Who doesn’t have drive thrus anymore? Besides that, this place always seem to be packed and understaffed. It’s not very clean and doesn’t have the best customer service. Seriously. it took me 20 minutes just to pick up some coffee. They really need to do something about this location.

I am a frequent customer at McDonald’s. After moving to Walnut Creek this McDonald’s has been my regular go to restaurant. However their service and quality is not anywhere near the previous McDonald’s that I went to. I once ordered a vanilla shake that came out so runny it looked like milk and the manager on duty told me that’s with the vanilla shakes look like. The lady with red hair is so rude. When I have time I drive either to the Lafayette McDonald’s or the Pleasant Hill McDonald’s just so I don’t have to deal with her. I love McDonald’s however this location needs better customer service!

It’s a McDonald’s, so the food is what it is, whether you like it or love it. However, so many other things that made the experience a poor one: small interior makes it uncomfortable, poor layout at the counter creates a cluster between people ordering and people waiting for food, rude unfriendly service and the food prep takes too long for a fast food place. Just bad for its location in Walnut Creek.

This McDonald’s would get no stars from me if that was a choice. I hate this place, due to the fact I rather drive out to Lafayette’s Mcdonalds than go to this dump. No racism intended, but the Indian guy who works there, is so rude and careless. When filling up drinks, and goes over, he doesn’t wipe it down before giving it to us, it’s nasty. They are so cheap with napkins, I had an order for two people and we literally got two napkins. The wait for your order is terrible as well. The place is small and seems like no one ever cleans it too. Also, the food here is honestly not good. It doesn’t taste like regular McDonald’s. Also hate the fact this place doesn’t have a drive thru. I would never ever recommend this mcdonald’s, theres so many other plces in wc, don’t go here. I don’t care if it’s cheap, I’d rather not have mcdonalds at all than go to this one.

I too had one of the worst customer service in any McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. And this is coming from someone who have visited McDonald’s all over the US and the world. I am not very surprised to see all the 1 – 2 stars rating here. The cashier are nice and always smile, but the Managers(white shirt and blue shirt), boy, they ALWAYS looked pissy. Unfortunately, they are the ones who give you your order. I had 2 occasions where my drink and meal were not included. When I inquired, this is what happened: — Got yelled at for taking the wrong bag — WTF?! YOU gave me the bag — Look angry that she had to get me another orange juice because I didn’t get it the first time. Yes, it is ALWAYS the same lady — old white lady in blue shirt. Now compare this to other fast food place around Walnut Creek — Jack In The Box, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, etc. They ALL have great customer service. Seriously, just tried it and compare it to this McDonald’s. If you all experienced the same thing, I urge you to provide your feedback to McDonald’s corporation — it’s in your receipt to fill out a survey. Tell them what your experiences are and hopefully, if enough people reported this location, McDonald’s corporate will take action. PS: If you fill out the survey, you get free food, like a free Quarter Pounder.

I just wanted to comment how this place needs to be cleaned. It is always very dirty and dusty. I would also like to comment how the cashiers and the staff need customer service training. They never say hello. They don’t thank you. They call the number and just hand you bag/order. Please the folks that work there could make it a better place. Please say hi and thank you. Overall food is avg. breakfast is the best. Cokes are good.

Notes on McD Setting: A dilapidated brick building in the heart of a vibrant and modern downtown. As the door opens, a gust of much needed air blows discarded straw wrappers across the faux brick tile floor. The garbage collects mainly in the corner of the room, next to three wet floor signs and a man with a handle bar mustache. *Walnut Creek’s Finest arrest a young male who has his shirt ripped off. *Two young men are grappling with the broken soda machine while the cashier is yelling across the room. *A siren alerting somebody about something important is pulsating from the kitchen, but nobody notices or cares. *Order time and the cashier simply says«no more nuggets.» Have you ever returned to your childhood room only to find it was a whole lot smaller then you remember. Well… the Walnut Creek McD is a whole lot more disgusting than I remember. In fact, even if they had my nuggets I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable eating them. I’m not sure if there is anything they can do. Personally, I think it’s time to demolish the building and raze the entire lot. However, I do really enjoy the two trees and American flag in the parking lot. Goodby McD — it’s been a good run.

I’m a sucker for a $ 1.00 cone-which is really the only reason I’d ever need to go to this McDonald’s. I’ll admit, I’ve gone through the drive thrus at other McDonalds’s and put $ 1.00 on my debit card for a cone-which is why there is a star taken away from this location. No drive through!!! This is still America right? On the plus side, though, they do have a nice(well for a McDonald’s anyway) shaded patio and plentiful parking. No drive thru but I guess if I am going to debit $ 1 for ice cream, I can at least show my face in the restaurant. No more strawberry sundaes though! Was i the only one on the planet still ordering those? If not, bring them back please! Overall, clean, good parking, friendly staff and $ 1 cones(did I mention that part yet?) The Unilocal 100 Challenge!

We all have guilty pleasures in life that we do not like to admit outloud. He goes one of them. I like Big Macs. I order them without Mac Sauce and add extra pickle. So in a last minute need to eat something before a meeting I stopped in. I wanted to drive thru but that was not an option. They do not have one. The order was taken quickly, however they were not able to fulfill it quickly. With 4 or 5 orders standing there waiting it took forever. It was off hours and other than one or two people sitting in there it was dead. Make sure to better schedule your employees. The place was dirty and the tables had not been wiped recently. I walked around like a doctor prior to surgery, with my hands in the air. What did I learn today? Some times indulging in guilty pleasures is not a good idea.

I just came back from this location. –5 stars After putting in my order I stood close by waiting for my to-go order. Here is what I observed: The lady handling the fries/packing the food was sick. She was constantly wiping her nose with the back of her hand while stuffing the burgers in the bag AND handling the fries. On top of that she was constantly sniffling. Let’s just say I left hungry and corporate will be hearing about this. P. S. They need a drive through!

Terrible service from the manager. We get to the front of the line and she asks me what I want to order. I say«ummm…» and not even five seconds later the manager goes«look, I don’t have all night, I have a lot of stuff to do.» My friend orders fries and the manager walks away to get them. I turn to my friend and say«did that really just happen?» The manager turns around and says to me «are you talking to me?» This is ridiculous. I’m 20 years old, I am not a child. So why should I be talked to in such a rude and condescending manner? I work down the street and I am usually very forgiving and polite to those who work in retail or food service. I work customer service, I get it, it can be tough. But I have never told a customer that I have too much tasking to do to help service them, and believe me, the store I work at constantly has stuff to be done. It’s not that I’m expecting legendary service at McDonald’s, it’s that I’d like to not be interrupted and spoken to like I’m an idiot when I’m just trying to order some food after work. OH, and that’s not even the best part, I walked outside after being in McDonald’s for only 20 minutes with a ticket on my car! Looks like their parking enforcement doesn’t know how to do their job either!

Convenient location but it’s 50 – 50 that they get my orders to go right. ALWAYS double-check. Not Aaron Rodgers discount double-check, but if you want to be sure you’re getting what you wanted, do the dance. McDonald’s over all seems to have gotten pricier vs other fast food joints, e.g., J in the Box, Chipotle. Still their ¼ pounders sans cheese trump the B King and Wendys. And their chocolate sundaes for a quick ice cream remain surprisingly tasty. Also doesn’t seem like the cleanest McD around, so get your food to go.

Freal though, this place be needin’ a drive through though. I’m juss sayin’, when I be on my way kickin’ it, I don’t want to park and have to wait in line only to be greeted by unhappy workers though, feel me? That aint even it, 7 out of 9 times some grimey dudes be postin’ up here like it’s they momma’s house. Not only that, they be hollering at girls they don’t even have chances with. True story, i’ve seen it happen here at least 4 times. They be like«girl you fine, got all them boys staring at you». I’m like«boy you is ugly, go to school and get yourself some class though». Their chicken nuggets be on point though, i’ll give them 2 stars for that. common McDonald’s, get yourself a drive through, i’ll add an extra star.

Sucks that there’s no drive thru and if you’re lazy, like me, then this is not the place to go to. No smiles from the worker’s, EVENTHEMANAGER. Damn, even the manager hates his job. This place is depressing and I only come here when I’m not lazy to get out of my car. Last conversation I had with the manager. Him: Order number 53, order number 53.(no «please») Me: *gets my bag* Him:(no «thank you») Me: Can I have some ketchup? Him: *grabs like 3 and slams it in my bag* My McChicken wasn’t messy though; bun, lettuce, sauce and chicken was in place. Whoot.

The food is usually good for a McDonald’s, but then again i’ve been noticing that a lot of McDonald’s are starting to up the quality… or at least the appearance of the food. The service is a bit slow, but all in all it’s a pretty standard McDonald’s. Oh, and the lack of a drive thru really kills them I’m sure. Then again, that’s Walnut Creek for you.

This McD’s is located on some pretty valuable real estate in Downtown Walnut Creek, which must have some developers salivating for at least an In-n-Out. There are of course much better(and expensive) dining options within the WC. But for many of us, it can’t all be Asian Fusion or a Dudum family restaurant 24⁄7. Sometimes all I want is to choose off the Dollar Menu and be on my way. And for what it is, this McDonald’s does it just fine. Upscale Hobos, no drive-thru, or clogged arteries be damned… p. s. — The origins of the word«hobo» are many. Soldiers were«homeward bound» after the Civil War. Migratory farm workers in the 18th Century were referred to as «hoe boys». Another possibility is the Latin term for«good man» — homo bonus.
