Absolutely the worst front office person I’ve ever encountered. Rude, short, and frankly not that good at her job. I tried to make an appointment and was told I would have to wait 3 months for a cleaning. Not what I was hoping but I scheduled it. The day before my appt the rude office person called to tell me Dr. Barpal was busy and unable to make my appt. I explained that I don’t work in the same city as her office and I really just needed my teeth cleaned. i have been waiting 3 months and have scheduled my day around the travel to get to the dentist. If it was possible to see the doc next time and just get the cleaning that would be ideal. The end result was, no cleaning. Several more months go by and I try to schedule an apt again. I explain that I’d really like to get in soon based on the last experience 3 months was going to be too long. She asked if an appoint the next week (today) would work. It didn’t really but I said, yes. I moved all my appointments around for the day and planned to make it to the scheduled appt that I had written down as 2:15. I left the office and made the trip, arriving at doctor Barpal’s office at 2:10. When I walk in I’m informed that I am late and they can not make up the 10 minutes (she maintains the appointment was at 2pm). Through the whole experience she was rude. And seemed perfectly happy to not only blame the «customer» for any errors but actually lose the business.
I have been a patient at this office since Dr. Goldman was the only dentist. My children, were patients and my daughter has some very special dental needs. Dr. Barpal has always been great and very knowledgable. However, her choice in staff just cost her LOTS of money. No more cleanings or prosthetics (which cost a fortune).
I absolutely would not recommend this office.
