I was in the area for a meeting and decided to drop by to grab some coffee and I was not disappointed! This store offers a wide variety of beans from different roasters from across the nation. At the time they offered eight different roasters for their pour overs. Furthermore they had the typical selections of lattes and other mixed drinks. The mint cold brew caught my attention and will be on my list next time. Baristas are very kind and welcoming, café was pretty crowded at 11 am on a weekday. I also saw some lunch menus which looked good. It was a pretty hot day and I wish they had either turned on their AC or had some type of cooling system in the front of the café. Overall I would definitely come back to this café. The aesthetics and coffee seem very promising!

We have a news flash ladies and gentleman… this just came in Art here on Thursday nights. pretty cool to, that is what I thought. This is a great spot to come hang and chill… I haven’t yet tried the food they make from here. Looks and smells really good though. This place at times can be slammin jammin busy. So I must ad something to this reveiw. this cute young gal I was talking to today asked me a great question ‘If you don’t drink coffee that why do you come here?‘ This is just a great place to hang out. and parents thanks for having great control of your kids when I have been here that means a whole lot to me. I will be back.

This place is so aesthetically pleasing. Really nice interior, and cute food/drinks good for photographs. Employees were super kind and helpful for a first-timer like me. I ended up getting the Matcha green tea latte thing and it was delicious! No matcha powder left at the bottom and a really nice balance of sweet and bitter. Will definitely grab a drink if I’m in the area again!

If you’re tired of the burnt coffee from Peet’s or never had a good cup from Starbucks, then this is your spot! The Coffee Shop curates a long list of amazing Bay Area coffee roasters and some from distant lands(Alaska?). They feature these beans as liquid cups of gold with both conventional and alternative brewing methods. Ask the knowledgeable and friendly baristas about anything(life questions too I think) and they’re happy to chat with you. Also, a nice bright space to study, read a book, meet with someone who also loves coffee. Seriously, this embodies the coffee culture in the bay area. Good job, friends!

Updated review and its a +1 to 4 stars! We now had the chance to try their broader drink and food menu and now have a very favorable impression. Service was friendly as before and plenty of comfy seating throughout. Minted Ice Cold Brew — Wow! Super refreshing and I think it rivals Philz Mint Mojito. Its minty, creamy, like a dessert drink. 5 stars! Stumptown Pour Over — Not bad, but its a bit citrusy and a slight sour initial taste followed by a bold aftertaste. I prefer my coffee bitter and smooth and less citrusy. My bad(3 stars) Tapioca Pop Tart — Creative, and pretty good — sweet, milky tapioca filling inside a thin baked pastry.

Way too crowded. Lines are long. Coffee is good, but not spectacular. I never ask for it to go, always request here, and half the time they give it to me to go anyhow. A couple of times they’ve forgotten my order entirely. It’s far better than Starbucks, but not that much better than Peets(which is three doors down) to justify the wait and the bumbling.

They have a large drip coffee selection. They have a pretty expansive menu actually. I walked over here from work and it wasn’t super super crowded, but it did have people there hanging out. This seems like a great place to hangout, get some work done, get some reading done, or chat with a friend. You can add baileys to any drink ALLDAY!!! I really like this place already. They have mint? I decided I wasn’t in the mood for milk and they were able to make me an iced black coffee with muddled mint. Much better for a hot day. Highly recommended, and I’ll be back.

I’m confused why they start closing before their closing time… Customer service tells me you would wait until closing time, shut the doors at closing time, and then start closing procedures one you are actually closed. Coffee is good but I like the coffee at a lot of places. I was impressed by the atmosphere but this early close thing made be go from relaxed and enjoying a potential up and coming place to a feeling of rushed and unwanted… Customer service must be an old school thing?

First time here and it’s a wonderful place! Super friendly staff, amazing coffee, great vibe, lots of seating area. Their coffee is very good, lots of drip over options. It’s in a great location. Highly recommend! I’ve been to lots of coffee shops and this one is definitely up there. All around awesome experience. A lot of places like this have a snobby atmosphere and staff but this one seems very chill and friendly.

Nice spot to pick up a cup of joe or a green juice to go. Staff are serious about their craft and friendly. Remember to say to-go, or they will default to ceramic. Most people come in to stay and work. Always my first and last choice when I am in WC.

Very fancy coffeeshop in Walnut Creek, good place to kill time. Staff is nice and attentive. They have multiple types of beer on tap, but the coolest thing is that they’ll add Bailey’s to anything. I had an iced coffee with Baileys to celebrate summer and it was perfect. Additionally, I’ve been there before to spike a normal drink with whiskey or anything. Their Irish Coffees are also great. One downside– seating for large groups can be limited.

Great new coffee spot– just minus a few little kinks. I was quite surprised to have randomly discovered this«Coffee Shop» which has since taken over the once hang out spot for me and my hubs years back — the good o’l «Lift Lounge»; but was quite excited, being I have thought WC has been in some dire need of some good craft style coffee shops… and it looks like that shop has arrived. I came here one early morning around 9-ish. The place was packed, equipped with a bit of a line. The place exudes that classic San Francisco, craft style, hipster coffee ambiance– along with being quite spacious and providing plenty of seating. I have to say, while waiting in line, I found it quite frustrating that they didn’t really offer a visible menu… I noticed a brief description on the right side of the wall, as a somewhat art display upon entering, giving a brief description of what they make — though nothing specific. I had to inquire about specific drinks once making it to the register. I also felt the girl ringing me up, projected a bit of an attitude which threw me off… I’m just thinking«Are you giving me an attitude because I’m inquiring about things that are not obvious» any how, I made the decision of getting a small, vanilla, almond milk Latte. The small lattes come with a 2 and a half pull shots. The total came to around 5 and some change. It took some time to receive my latte, hence for the reason it being packed, but I have to say, it was beautifully presented to a gorgeous foamy wonderfulness and tasted DAMN good… damn good. So, I will most certainly be visiting again. Perhaps they will be a bit more organized and most importantly, exude a little bit more friendliness on my next visit; and maybe with that, I just may become a frequent visitor.

Good coffee? Check Lots of seating? Check Great place to study? Check Beer? On Draft? What?! Yuppppp. Double Check. I think they even have boozeee. First review in a while. This place fulfills all the hopes and dreams that someone studying for the Bar exam could ever hope for. Great espresso to get you in the groove and a cold brew on tap to bring you down after a long, stressful day. Some of the people aren’t the most friendly, but its a pretty hipster joint so I guess thats to be expected? Will be back. Actually what am I talking about, I’m here right now. Still studying Yeah, check it out if you can.

A-bunch-of-commas Review: Comfy chairs, calming atmosphere, friendly staff, relatively easy parking(2 parking garages closeby), and they sell a MEAN Ginger Beer in the fridge. Just wish they were open later on Sundays and Mondays.

Love ‘Coffee Shop’ Things I’ve Tried: Minted Cold Brew Orange-Coconut Iced Latte Daily Iced Tea Blends Breakfast Sandwiches, All of them were delicious! Also, I liked that the crowd was an even mix of people working and people socializing. Sometimes coffee shops feel like one or the other. Had wifi and places to plug your computers. Also had high bar areas where you can drink beer or coffee and socialize.

Coffee Shop is a super cute, chic, friendly coffee shop with plenty of seating though most of it was taken even at 11am on a weekday! They are famous for their house made flavor rotating«pop tarts,» and variety of Stumptown coffees(nitro cold brew — not on menu). I think it’s a place to visit if you’re nearby but not one to seek out. * Nitro Cold Brew($ 4) — I’m a nitro-holic, I’ve had varieties from the official stuff at Stumptown Portland, to a variety of cafes throughout SF. A good nitro is very creamy… witholds the foam, and is not too acidic. This one fell a bit flat, and tasted too sour. Better nearby versions: Mazarine. Better Stumptown variation: Jane on Larkin. * Apple Tart($ 3) — Tasty, standard, needed more apples. Parking: metered on the main street, 20-min max parking in the back.

Such a nice vibe! It’s a nice place for almost anything. To sit and relax with your significant other, catch up with friends, study, or simply just to grab a cup of cappuccino or hot chocolate. Staff here are extremely nice = good customer service. Came here on a saturday night and it had a good amount of crowd. You’ll find a seat somehow :) I’d definitely come back here when I’m in the area.

3.5 from me(amendment included). 4 from my friend. I had a mocha which seemed fine, nothing spectacular. The scone was fine too, but didn’t quite have the texture I’d expect. But my friend had a drip — being the type to know a good coffee and what to ask, he was pleased with his brew. Lots of places to sit and work and plug in. Which as I think about it… that gets the fourth star from me too. Parking:(inexpensive, $ 1 per hour, I think the first is free) across the street and plenty of it. Plugs and seats: Only bummer is, few intimate spots for conversations. But really tons of places to work.

More like 3.5 stars. I so want to give it more, but I get a little disappointed when I come to the shop and they have ran out of a coffee especially their cold brew, and I get there pretty early. The juices in the fridge area are a bit on the pricey side as well. There are no posted prices so I was really shocked when I got rung up for my juice. The pros: They have cute sitting areas, quick service, and a friendly staff. Their pastries are tasty as well. I’m usually noshing on one after a workout. The croissants are buttery and the filled pastries are always a win.

I LOVE this place! My girlfriend and I are here all the time. This is by far our favorite local coffee shop. The second you walk in you know this is nothing like Starbucks or Pete’s. It’s really cool to see your coffee brewing right by the register. I’ve had their gingerbread cold brew, iced pumpkin spice latte and the hot pumpkin spice latte. They were all so yummy, but the hot pumpkin spice latte is by far my favorite. It’s nice to sit and relax in their patio right outside while drinking my warm latte and people watching. The reception isn’t the greatest in this area(weird) but don’t worry, they offer free wifi! I’m already looking forward to going back.
