Casa Belicoso Cigar Lounge

Was in town on business all last week and found this lounge. Nice staff, plenty of seating in the lounge. Will definitely go back. A plus was the beverage fridge. Good selection of Roma Craft.

Love this place! My husband is into cigars and when I can’t think of anything else to get him for a birthday or Christmas this is my go to. They keep past purchases stored in the computer so for the not so well versed cigar buyer, ME, I can have them look up what I got before and presto ! Instant happy husband. I also bought a custom humidor and they set everything up so all he had to do was insert cigars!!! Very helpful staff… everyone.

I used to love this place! Decent (not great) selection, nice people and great lounge.
The problem is it’s become way too expensive! I used take friends there, buy a couple of sticks and some wine for fair prices and have a great time. Two times ago I bought two average sticks and a beer and it cost $ 60! They charged me for two day passes and $ 15 corkage just so I could get a cup for a little port I brought. I tried again a couple of weeks ago except I bought two really good sticks and a bottle of wine. They still charged me for two day passes.
I want to support the brick and mortars but when cigars are half as much on line I can’t justify getting nickel and dimed on top of the mark up.

I’ve been to Casa Belicoso quite a few times and I have had mostly a good experience until the most recent time I went in. The previous times I have gone in I have run into one of the owner, Roy, and he is very gracious and loves what he does. We traded cigars talked about wine and pretty much have had good conversations. The last time walked in, Roy was not there and it was his staff person, the heavy set guy that was there alone. We walked in and all purchased wine and beer, etc. We came back to sit down and I had some cigars that I had purchased at one of their events some time back. He immediately came over and started to ask us what we were smoking and before we could answer he told us we could only smoke cigars that we purchased in the store, he was really rude about it, and made all of us feel uncomfortable. I didn’t want to argue with him so we went into the humidor and we all purchased more cigars. We sat back down and smoked our cigars but this guys kept hovering over us and we felt like we were being «watched». As much as I like Casa Belicoso I don’t think I’m going to return, my friends were in agreement. The owner is a lot more welcoming and laid back then his employee who thinks he’s the owner and could use some help in the customer service department.

This is my favorite place in the world! When I’m in here everything is alright. I brought a bunch of friends here for a small celebration this evening and it was perfect. Great selection of cigars! Matt is so incredibly knowledgeable and walks you through every step if you’re unsure of what you want. My hubby and I take advantage of their date night deal. $ 40 gets you three cigars, a small bottle of wine, and the cover into the lounge. The lounge in dark and comfy… with a pool table, domino’s, chess, and dart board. Matt let us pick the music and obliged with some Frank Sinatra. What a swank night! So satisfied! Thank you Casa Belicoso. I am a lifetime patron. Looking forward to getting a membership for me and my husband!

My first visit to «Casa Belicoso» in Walnut Creek, Calf and I’m blown away, great atmosphere terrific Staff and the owner «Byrd» is great. He compt me the members only lounge on my first visit, great guy. I will come back when I’m in the area again. Great selection of Cigars!!!

Delicious cigars, and a great lounge to hang out in with comfy couches, a pool table, and TVs. Roy and Matt are AMAZING! They helped me plan a surprise party for my boyfriend, and helped all of his friends pick the best cigars based on their tastes. We will definitely be back!

Very nice cigar lounge with good selection of sticks and reasonably priced. Quiet place (at least late afternoon) but nice bar area inside, separate smoking area seats and also outdoor seats in mostly quiet suburban area. Friendly staff. A regular spot for me when here.

Great spot. Very good selection/​prices and the lounge is a perfect spot to work during the day if I need to get out of the office and get actual work done, or have a meeting with a fellow cigar smoker. Headed there now, in fact.

My favorite place to buy cigars. Good selection, quality and great prices. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to help you leave with a cigar that you will enjoy. The free lounge is chill. The pay lounge is plush! Definitely worth the cost if you have the time. Monthly memberships are available for the die-​hards.
I plan on being a regular here. Hope to see you there.

After I’m done buying my Porsche I need a smoke and when I need a smoke i walk across the street to Casa Belicoso. J/​k i cant afford a Porsche but it is across the street from the dealership.
This lounge really is a find. I didn’t know they were around until i started to look from a place to hang out for my friend’s bro’s 21^st bday. I was pleasantly surprised on how well the place is stocked and how much room there is to hang out.
It wasn’t that busy when we got there so we didn’t feel pressure to pick our sticks the guys there were helpful in picking out some smoke for the noobs in my group. Also there was plenty of places to sit indoor and out. They have a club room which members can use freely and nonmembers can use for a cover fee. we chose to stay in the regular lounge since no one was there. We had a great relaxing time and i am really pleased with how the lounge smelled. It smelled like smoke but it didn’t smell like ash which tells me they are big on making sure ashes are cleaned up. A big A+ in my books. Ive been to plenty of lounges where the smell of stale tobacco and ash just overpower everything else. Also the high ceilings help regulate the smoke in the building so it doesn’t look cloudy inside. I dunno if that was on purpose but it works.
I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a lounge in the area.

Awesome Lounge, Great Stuff, Nice Selection of Cigars. The Private lounge inside is like walking into your livingroom or Man Cave. Very comfortable seating with a pool table, dart board, and card table. They also have beer and wine with your paid membership (Day Pass). Its a must stop if you’re in the area. Go to their website for updates on their monthly cigar events.

Let it be known today marked the day Roy and Rob lost to Young and Sam in pool. Way too much.

If you don’t like giant walk in humidors, very reasonable priced sticks, bottled craft brew, wine, and a fantastic lounge area, then don’t go here ;)

Loved the layout, the humidor and even the rental lockers, all very cool. Even a small outdoor area. The memberships are a cool offering, but a bit expensive for what you actually get.
Great place to get and smoke a cigar and have a beer.

Our first impression when walking in the door was «wow». This place was quite large and had an outdoor sitting area, a decent sitting area when you first walk in and tons of accessories to purchase.
We walked up to the counter and were met with a pleasant fellow named Matt. We began to ask some questions and told him we were ‘out-​of-​towners’. He gave us his general information and invited us into the large walk-​in humidor.
They are a 601 lounge, so they had more 601 products than I’m used to seeing, but that was nice. I began to grill Matt about the products in there, asking about humidity and back-​stories on cigars and he always had an answer. I even asked him about some sticks that I knew the answers to and he was correct, so he was obviously very knowledgable as well as pleasant to speak with.
There were 3 of us in there and we were picking up a couple hundred dollars worth as the pricing was fantastic (compared to home). As we were cashing out, we asked about wifi and he began to tell us about their 601 lounge. If you pay $ 10, then you have access to their lounge, which has a pool table, tons of tv’s nice leather chairs, card tables, and WIFI (which is huge for us foreigners).
If you’re nearby, I highly recommend you ask them about their monthly memberships. They offer very well priced memberships which even given you up to $ 50/​month to spend in there (from what I remember).
If you’re in the area, this place needs to be on your list of ‘stop-​ins’. Matt is a very helpful guy and knows his stuff!

Casa Belicoso Cigar Lounge was an unexpected pleasure. Cigar selection wasn’t as vast as Telford’s but it was adequate. sight issues inhabited my ability to read all the labels (or was it the dim lighting/​angle of the cigar boxes?)
the patrons are average joes, not stuffed suits. met B & D who invited me to join them in the «members only» lounge. mucho gracias! the lounge was spacious, cooled by overhead fans, had many large flatscreends showing sports.

I am a member of Fatman in Sacramento and the owner and another member decided to take a trip over to Casa Belicoso, I had not been but they had. I really like the layout of their lounge. Large shop area with seating, available drink including bottled beer and then a private lounge to enjoy as well. Being a member of Fat Man they have a reciprocle membership agreement that allowed us to enjoy their large lounge.
If you are in the area you must stop by. Great competitive pricing. Great environment and friendly staff. While I was there lots of local PD came in after duty and for me that shows its a great place.
