What a sweet surprise it was to walk into the Walla Walla airport and be greeted with the scent of delicious bakery goods! And the lovely aroma was just the beginning! I was on my way to a yoga retreat and had some time before heading from the airport to that destination. I sat down to enjoy a gluten free bacon quiche, a yummy cup of coffee and a couple of gluten free cookies. Delicious! And on my return trip to Seattle I made sure to allow time for a piece of gluten free strawberry rhubarb pie and a cup of Joe! Yummy! Okay… and I also bought a beautiful handmade angora snood. The owners, Gilda and David Paige, are welcoming and super friendly! A lovely experience all around!

Realized I was going to be at the airport WAY early and was looking for some quick lunch. Service was friendly, and they suggested a non-sweet lunch roll which I followed up with a pastry –both very good!

Excellent gluten free baked goods, delightful owner. Stop by here whenever I visit W2. Wish we had such a great bakery in Seattle.

When staying overnight recently to do wine tasting in Walla Walla, we tried this bakery for a quick breakfast scone. They also had a decent variety of other offerings, The scones were good, but possibly made the day before, as they were not warm, possibly they just needed to be heated. Right across the street and down a block is Walla Walla Roastery, where we ordered a nice Latte to go with our scones, and we parked near the airfield to watch airplanes as we enjoyed our little breakfast to go!

The gluten free caramel nut cinnamon roll was so delicious! It was warm and fresh. Their goat cheese spreads were unbelievably good! I will definitely go back next time I’m in the area. They also will let you order online and have it shipped to your house. I’ll be trying that soon!

The owner was super sweet and gave us a ton of samples. The marion berry/cream cheese croissant was awesome. They aren’t typically open on Sundays but we got lucky. I would recommend trying this place even if you aren’t looking for gluten free treats.

The bakery itself is not entirely gluten free, so for those of us with celiac it’s a little dicey. Delish though – wish they would make gluten free cinnamon rolls and were open on Sundays :)
