I’ve been to this Roy Rogers lots of times because its closer to my home than the usual location I would frequent. I have had good and bad experiences. The one incident that repulsed me was as I opened my gold rush sandwich to eat it, I noticed an ant coming out of the paper. This also happened to my husband on a separate day when we went there for lunch. We always go to the drive thru. While going there for lunch one day and being pressed for time we ordered our usual gold rush combos. When I went to eat my sandwich, they had put some kind of gold rush dressing that they made up themselves, which was orange like thousand island salad dressing and thick. If it weren’t for me needing to get my child from school I would’ve turned around and sent it back. The gold rush sauce is yellow and thin not orange and thick. If you run out of something, instead of taking the customers money just to get a sale, advice them on what you are out of so they can have the choice of getting something else on the menu. Why are you passing off something that is not. This happened another time we went there one night and before I left I checked my sandwich. Long and behold, the same sauce they made up was on my sandwich. I told the girl at the window this is not the gold rush sauce that suppose to be on the sandwich. She tried to tell me what the sauce was made of and I told here Ive been getting the same sandwich for years. I know how the sauce is suppose to look, the manager was standing right there and didn’t argue because he knew what they were doing. It angers me how you could send customers on their way knowing you are purposefully deceiving them. They don’t know if you are allergic to their thrown together sauce or anything. If you pay for something you are use to, you should get that. Enter this drive thru window at your own risk, and don’t forget to check your bags and food before you leave.

I was so disappointed in Roy Rogers for pulling all of the locations out of PG County. But when Roy Rogers put a location(that is very close to PG County) here I was elated! Roy Rogers is one of those restaurants that has kept their food tasting like it did back in the day. This is one fast food restaurant that I can appreciate and love to go to when I’m in the Waldorf area.
