Riko was great. She helped me find the shoes I was looking for. I couldn’t find them in my size so she ordered them, matched the clearance price, and it will be shipped to my home for free! I love this store although I mainly shop online. You can find some good looking shoes for a really good price. I will continue to patronize this buisness.

This DSW has NOTHING! Ugly shoes! Not even hip grandmothers would rock! Their shoes are decent. Omg when did living in the deep Suburbs regulate clothing & shoe stores to old & dates styles. I will not be shopping here. I mean no brand names. I meant the boots for hunting and walking r good but other than that, don’t go here! The store is dull & dark no décor for Xmas. The music was good. It was boring and I suspect this not this day only. They dress shoes look like Throwback 90’s shoes, which are in but not the exact shoe from that time period. There is plenty of parking on a good day but do not try to turn left when leaving out by pier one(I forget the store name but it’s like a pier one but one level down-but very nice)… Anywho, I will go back again to make sure I’m not being too hard. But I’m pretty sure I’m not. I’ve been to really gr8 DSWs. Especially the one in Montgomery county! I will return for an update in December, Unilocalers!

So this is store that sells shoes. That was the Al Bundy portion of this review. I will add that this particular location is a huge, open-plan building where you can breathe easy and walk easy, and not feel crowded out by other shoppers. It is always very clean, A/C cool, and the salespeople are not pushy. They let you shop in peace and they get on well with other customers. I have been here several times, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard any drama or nonsense or complaints. What is worthwhile noting about this place is that after buying two pairs of shoes they sent me a coupon for $ 10 off my next purchase. That voucher went towards buying another pair for even less money than I expected. Apparently every so many shoe purchases you make they email you a $ 10 off voucher, or something like that. And I think they also give you the option of getting your sales receipt emailed to you. The other thing worth mentioning is that their clearance area is actually pretty good — it takes up the whole back wall! Now it is primarily women-centric, but within the smaller sliver of the men’s section you can find some excellent bargains and avoid paying their regular«warehouse» prices, which aren’t necessarily very«warehouse». I have attached a photo of their clearance pricing scheme, and like I said, you can find some good wee brands in dress, casual, and trainers. I have found better luck buying shoes here than I have in most other stores I’ve tried, including budget places like Ross or Mashalls. If you find a shoe you like but it is not in your size, you can take the box to the cashier and they can check if any other location nearby has that size in stock. Pretty useful service, and again, the staff here always seem happy to help you, at least the times I’ve been in the place. And I think they sell fancy socks, if you happen to be a bloke that likes fancy socks.

My needs: 1) A reasonably priced pair of silver, sparkly shoes for an upcoming night of debauchery as a showgirl costumed bridesmaid. This means«dancing all night», so the shoe must be comfy and I cannot break an ankle(which is no small feat for me). The heel cannot be «too high», nor can it be «too low». No pinching anywhere on the shoe. 2) A comfy pair of flats for my feet with fallen arches for the fall. 3) An extremely comfortable, well-made pair of flip-flops to replace the Olu-Kai pair that I must now admit are beyond use. 1) I walked to the Women’s Dress section and found about 12 pairs of shoes that could fit the bill. None worked, until I tried that final, glorious pair. Perfect. Price? Check… totally doable. Thank you. Next! 2) Dr. Scholl’s cute black flats? I like you. I think you’ll do. Thanks! Price? A little high, but you pay for comfort, right? Fine. Thanks.(Unfortunately, I got these home and they rub a bit. Hoping that will get better as the days wear on.) 3) Bear Traps? No workable options in my size. They were all way too big. Olu Kai? Don’t carry ‘em. Tevas? Ugly. Supremely ugly. Born? They all had closed-in sides that rubbed and will cause blisters. :(… Also, some of the flip flos I liked(even if they had come in my size) were $ 70, which is approximately what I would pay through the manufacturer, so I’m not sure that’s a deal. No options. Really wanted these, too. Instead, I settled for an ugly pair of Easy Spirit clogs that I will use to do things like run out to the mailbox, or go to the garage, etc. Enh… failure. On to the check out experience. First, I should mention that no one offered to help me during my experience. That’s not necessarily a bad thing for me, but it could be for others. The girl next to me had a terrible check out experience. She’d ordered a pair of shoes, received a call that they were in, came out to pick them up, and no one could find them, or had any idea what she was talking about. They didn’t even really seem that interested in helping her. That really turned me off. She was very patient about it. I would not have been. My checkout person did tell me that one of my pairs of shoes was half a size larger than the other two pairs.(I knew this, but it was nice of her to mention it, in case I’d made a mistake.) She also checked each pair to make sure that the shoes inside the box were the same size. I appreciated that. She looked up my DSW membership, using my long, complicated email address. My membership must be a thousand years old by now, so that was also appreciated. All-told, I walked out of there for around $ 125, I think? That seems like a fair price for two pairs of comfy, good shoes, and one pair that rubs. Still irritated not to have found a good deal on a well-made pair of flip-flops in my size. With summer coming to a close, I would expect to pay less than $ 70.

I was in the area celebrating my birthday and decided I needed shoes! Plus they had sent me a birthday coupon that was burning a hole in my pocket! I went towards the back to check out their sale racks(ok, try telling me YOU dont do that) and thinking it was just a small section blocked off, imagine my surprise when I went around the wall and realized it was the WHOLE back section of the store! I heard The Hallelujah Chorus in my head. And I got a super hot pairs of shoes that were perfect for all the dancing I did that night. Thanks DSW!

who doesnt love a shoe store? I could spend all day if only I had an unlimited credit card.(or a bigger room for just my shoes) *sigh* this place is huge. selection is great.(even for someone like me with a size 10⁄11 foot) I think the prices are reasonable for the brands they carry. I have gotten $ 100 shoes for $ 19. there is a back room where they put stuff at huge discounts. I check there first before wandering around the store. why limit yourself to one pair if you can get 3.(or more) Ive had good success with employees here when I need help. they are friendly and will give opinions if you only ask.
