Having moved fromTexas, finding the right stylist has been quite an experiment. I tried to schedule my trips back to Texas to have my favorite stylist do my hair, but that became unrealistic. Having searched & searched I saw a style on a girl & she told me she uses Darlene Lodge. Great cut & color. I am thrilled I have found my new stylist in Waldorf, Maryland. Darlene is the utmost professional that knows her stuff. Beautiful shop that reflects her talent & taste, too. Her assistant, Jess is great, too, giving wonderful, relaxing massaging shampoos. As is so true, Darlene uses the finest products & is a great colorist. Could not be happier. I have high standards and Darlene & Jess excel. Blessing I found them.

I followed Darlene to her brand new studio when By Request Salon closed, and I’d follow her anywhere! She’s so talented! My cut and color always come out exactly how I want (and I color red on my naturally dark hair, so it isn’t easy). Darlene is always smiling and professional, and Jess is so sweet, and she gives a really gentle shampoo. Love these girls!
