The cake for my 62nd birthday has been a hot with my 14 guests. Each one was in rapture by the moist dark chocolate cake that was rich bit not too heavy… just right. The icing, chocolate butter, was as capturing. If you have ever seen the move Babett’s Feast, it could have been on the menu… it was that good. Carolyn and Edmund made our wedding cake for our wedding at Stonehouse Manor in Phippsburg, ME. It was phenomenal! The cake was just delicious. We knew how much we loved our tasting but we never imagined our wedding day cake to taste that much better than the tasting! Everybody loved it. We had a layer of key lime coconut, a layer of cheesecake, and a layer of strawberry. Also, the designs that Carolyn and Edmund do are incredible. Check out their website they are so talented! You can have anything you want and they do all the work/deliver themselves so you know you can trust them! We used fresh flowers, which were put on when the cake was delivered and a simple design on the sides, a perfect match for the feel of our wedding. Carolyn was so easy to work with, was quick to respond to emails, and made our cake one thing we did not have to worry about! Once we ordered and paid at our tasting we barely needed to do anything else — they just showed up that day with the most amazing cake! Thank you both for a beautiful and delicious cake! Caitlin
