I love this spot, I always stop in when I go see my mom. I really like the roast turkey with garlic and herb.

Their baked goods are a delight. However, last Saturday I stopped by to get a couple of sandwiches and noticed that there was a sign on the door announcing new hours — close at 4 pm on Saturday. It was only 3:40, so I thought«great». But the man behind the counter told me «we close in 4 minutes — at 4 pm. When I pointed out to him that it was only 3:40, he very brusquely told me the sandwich counter was closed because he had to clean up. I remember when closing at 4 meant locking the door at 4 and starting to clean up then. If you didn’t have customers for the time just before closing, you could clean, but if you did have customers, cleaning would have to wait. Closing time used to mean«the time we stop serving».I was very disappointed, having driven 16 miles roundtrip

Excellent fresh breads and other baked goods, plus a really great selection of Maine artisanal goodies, including the elusive Flo’s Hot Dog Relish, familiar to those who think York is «Downeast» and Biddeford is somewhere in New Brunswick…

They make some fantastic bread! You can have a sandwich made to take with you to Pemequid Point! They also sell local jams, soda, and coffee!
