Best Thai restaurant in the area! It’s a pretty busy place around dinner time, luckily we got there early(5:30pm) before the dinner rush! Ambience: Tidy and spotless. Very cute floral decors and lightings. Great seating arrangements around this small place. My favorite spot: the booths by the windows. Food: Quality. Flavorful. Yum! Spicy Mussels(5) — More on the mild side but addictive! Pad See You(chicken) — Deliciously! And it’s a huge portion! They did not skimp out on the chicken or the noodles at all(: Tender Beef Platter– The fresh pineapple sauce sautéed with the beef was the perfect combination. Service: Super polite and sweet! I asked them if they can bring over a dessert for my Dad since it’s birthday: They brought over a Fried Ice Cream with a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday~ It made my dad smile!

Standard Thai place. It was a bit hard to find the entrance to this place because of the construction going on in the street. I ordered the Pad Thai with crispy chicken which was okay, I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I assume that this is probably one of the only good Thai places in the area though so I would consider coming back if I was craving Thai.

I’m basing this review off of one meal, but I eat a lot of Thai food and this was exactly the flavor I was looking for. I’m sort of a slave to Foodler these days and haven’t ventured much out of restaurants that don’t deliver via foodler, but I was glad that I tried Phu-Ket last night. My order was simple– Rama Garden and Hot & Sour Soup. The soup was incredibly flavorful and had 4 good sized shrimp in it. The rama garden was a dish of steamed assorted veggies with tofu and a spicy peanut sauce on the side. I ordered brown rice on the side for $ 2 and it was hearty and cooked perfectly. I’m looking forward to trying some of their other dishes, and ordering online via EatStreet was a breeze.

A hidden gem. Food was great. My son loved the dumplings. My daughter loved her pad thai. I had yellow curry with tofu. My only complaint is that the glass of wine I was served did not have the full amount and I should have mentioned that to our server at the time. I will be back when I’m in the area.

Hands down some of the best and quality Thai food I’ve ever had, I highly recommend the Pad See You. It’s sweet and delicious. My only only suggestion is to order early on Friday nights as they get busy!

I was pleasantly surprised that I could order online. The process worked perfectly and the also sent me a 20% cup on for my next visit. I had the Pad Thai with duck and shrimp. Excellent! The dumplings were a little bland but, overall a good experience. I will definitely go back!

Came here for lunch and really enjoyed my experience! There were so many delicious items to choose from on the menu, it took awhile for me to decide. I ended up getting the lunch box special, which comes with an entrée, vegetable broth soup, two crispy rolls, rice, and Thai salad. The Seafood Basil dish was delicious… mussels, scallops, and squid with vegetables cooked in a chili spiced broth. The Thai peanut dressing on the salad was very good! The best I’ve had so far, very peanutty and slightly spicy. My friend got the hot country style pad Thai with chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it as well! Just spicy enough, and came with fair warning of one chili pepper on the menu. The price for the lunchbox was $ 10 which was well worth it — I will definitely come back to try the soups(there are 4 different kinds) the noodle dishes, and the mango curry!

The lunch boxes are one of the best deals in downtown Wakefield! The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are really friendly and make paper roses on your straw when you order Thai Iced Tea :)

Pleasantly surprised by this cozy hole in-the-wall type place hidden just off of Main Street Wakefield. I had the Crazy Noodle and my wife had the Pad Tai and we started with the steamed dumplings. All of our dishes were 5 stars out of 5 at a 2-star price. I highly recommend the Thai Beer choice on the menu(Singha); I usually don’t enjoy light beer but this one had much more flavor than most other light beers. The interior looks like it was recently updated with some faux stone walls, wine racks, & a granite countertop for the hostess desk — very pleasant. Though, I suspect this place mostly does takeout since it was almost empty @7:30 on a friday night. With few patrons and music playing only softly, it was uncomfortably quiet inside. I could clearly hear the couple speaking two tables down from us. Also it was very cold inside — low 60’s I would say(it’s November and 45 F outside). I kept my jacket on for my entire meal. TL;DR; –Food = A+ –Price = A+ –Atmosphere = C+

Trying to locate a non chain restaurant that can accommodate a dairy and soy allergy is like trying to locate my feet when I am in the shower…(difficult) Especially Asian food. A lot of the places we contacted advised they actually cook everything in Soybean oil(not just the fried food). So we called Phuket expecting a big Phuk you and were pleasantly surprised when they were awesome about modifying a few dishes for me. So now I eat here a few times a week. It is really delicious and everyone there is insanely nice. I get the yellow curry with chicken or shrimp and it is always fresh and flavorful with the perfect amount of heat. My husband gets the drunken noodle with chicken and loves it. We have also tried the pad thai which is really good. You can order on Grubhub or foodler. We have gotten delivery when we were visiting family in Wakefield and they were really quick and the food was piping hot. I love this place.

Just moved to Wakefield from big city that has over 200 Thai restaurants. My wife is Thai. We have traveled to Thailand every year for the last 15 years. So we know good Thai food vs Americanized Thai food. Our first week here we tried 3 different Thai restaurants in Wakefield. At Phuket the Thai lady there knows how to cook. The dishes are good and not too Americanized. Service is good here. But do not expect fine dining service at any Thai restaurant. It is not in their laid back culture. They usually bring the food out after it is cooked, so sometime you might get appetizers with a main course. That’s how they do it in Thailand. This is the best one in Wakefield. We still have others to try out in the area.

Very quant gem located in Wakefield, MA on Princess St which is hidden behind the Spinning studio. Found this restaurant while I usually go to Red Sugar Café(still my favorite). Service is a little bit slow as well as the food being served. The dishes are rich and savory packed with flavor.

One day I just said«Phu Ket» I am finally going to try this place. And I did. And I do not regret it one bit. What a fine, cozy, quaint, yet sophisticated little place the new management has put together here. It has some of the freshest food you will find around here. The details truly matter in their food. I started with the crab rangoons for six dollars and I enjoyed them. You get five of them. I had a Thai beer called Singha with water along side it. They also have Japanese beer and Chinese beer if you so choose. Singha is very good beer, especially for the cheap price of $ 4.50 for an import. Then came the classic hot salmon dinner. Plenty of vegetables came with salmon in a sweet thai chili sauce. Not too spicy, but spicy enough to stimulate the taste buds. The vegetables were onion, green and red peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, green beans. As you can see, some traditional thai vegetables and some non-traditional ingredients. They come as advertised, thai with a twist. This restaurant is true to the spirit of Thai food in the sense of the various color and flavor in the dish. The salmon was good quality salmon. The main course of salmon cost $ 16.00. And for dessert, I had the cheesecake crème brule. The presentation was good. It was a great way to finish a great meal. The total cost without tax was $ 31.50 and I was satisfied with the price. Some people have criticized the service. I was not here during a busy night and I was here during a slow late afternoon. The service was more than good to me. If some people have problems with the service, they have to realize that like French food, a lot goes into the preparation and presentation of the Thai food. The quality of their food, however, makes it well worth the wait. It is not like Red Sugar restaurant here. You are getting an experience that is much more elegant and much more sophisticated and that takes a little more time. I have said before I am no expert in Thai, but this is the best Thai restaurant to which I have been. It is even better than the one in Melrose, and that is saying a lot. This ranks as one of the top twenty dining experiences for me. I highly recommend this place.

Very small dining room, but decorated very well. Food is sooooo good. Def from scratch and fresh. Appetizers are kinda small serving for the price but still well worth it. You have to try the mussel app! I have gotten the salmon dish and it was cooked to perfection!

Delicious food presented in a lovely manner. Good service and a pretty environment to eat in. Mango curry was fantastic and the pineapple fried rice, vegetable soup, and crispy rolls were all very yummy too. My dad got a lunchbox special with a bunch of food for a surprisingly low price. The whole two-person meal was shockingly affordable for the quality and good quantity. I highly recommend this place, I will definitely be going back.

Delicous! Our new lunch place! Cant beat the lunch box specials(dine-in only) for $ 8/$ 9. I got the Chicken cashew nuts. came with a tasty soup, 2 crispy rolls and small salad with a peanut sauce. IThe dish has a nice variety of fresh vegetables. I like that u have a brown rice option. It was different from same olé rice flavor. My husband got the beef basil and also enjoyed his dish. we went super hungry. it is not a ton of food, but just enough so that u fdont feel bloated and want to take a nap for the day!

Great food but every time we call in an order they mess it up. Most recent visit showed up and the handwritten order was still at the hostess stand. What’s the point of calling it in if you have to wait 15 – 20 minutes when you get there. Was offered a stink — which I was charged for — while I waited and no apology. Still, the food is good. Not sure I will order from them again unless I have time to kill.

I love Phu Ket! I order there at least once every two weeks, if not more often. I work a ½ mile away and live just inside the 2 mile delivery radius. Their Massaman Curry is out of this world! I can’t get enough. I’ve tried the majority of the menu. They do everyone’s go to Pad Thai well, but they really excel at curries and other stand out menu items such as there macadamia beef, shumai, and spicy lobster soup! I use to order regularly from right across the parking lot at Porchai which sadly closed in 2013. Phu Ket changed management at the end of spring 2014– if you’ve only tried it before then, I highly recommend trying it again. The staff has always been really friendly and the number one improvement under new management is the food quality! It’s been upped to gourmet level. Also, extra points for a name that’s hard not to say as an expletive.
