Went here last night to watch UFC194. The customer service was excellent. Even though I didn’t order anything from the menu, the server was very attentive! I will definitely be back. Hopefully I’ll have an appetite next and am able to try the food. I saw something about 50 cents that peeked my interest.

In fairness, I did take it to go but the steak tip plate I had there wasn’t anything I’d get again. Their tips were actually pretty good and cooked perfectly but the red bliss mashed potato’s were inedible.

This is a cool little neighborhood pub, no frills and no bs, with a nice beer selection and diverse menu. They also have trivia nights. The bartenders are super awesome. Oddly enough, what stood out was the clam chowder. It was DELICIOUS! Who know? I had spent four days in Boston and this was by far the best I sampled(and I love NE clam chowder so I sampled A LOT).

Very greasy comfort food and keno screens galore, but the greasy comfort food wasn’t very good… average is being kind, horrible is an exaggeration though. I gave it two stars because my Jack & coke was good… it is kind of divey though the prices aren’t super low. Lots of older people. I would give it one more try as I did go on a busier Friday night

Went here for Paint Nite & the place is as expected… Local area restaurant — Tons of room… Nice that the Bar & Restaurant is seperate… Parking is tight but there are SEVERAL spots… We didnt eat meals as we were paiting — but the popcorn is DELISH! The waitress we had in the paint room was SOOOOOGOOD and had us all under control and there was easily 45 people in the room… Never heard any complaints about her… Will def plan to come back to eat as everytime I had to run through the dining room to the Ladies Room(Im 9mos Prego right now) everyones food looked & smelled delish…

Great place to watch the game, get some grub and wash it down with an ice cold beer or 2, or6. The prices are good and the staff is awesome! Check it out for yourself, you’ll be glad you did.

Love the Dockside! It’s a Wakefield tradition. Where else can you find $ 2 drafts, and terrific food while watching the game? I used to just go there for a beer or two, but the food is actually noteworthy for a casual bar setting. The buffalo chicken pizza has a cult following, and the nachos are really nicely cooked and perfectly cheesed. They are always running some sort of special, and they have a loyalty program that adds up to free food fast.

wow how this place changed over the years but for the worst, once you get past the smokers standing at the door way drunk to greet you, you get inside expecting to warm up and its freezing in there, the portions of food is very small when they are served in a big dish, the waitresses are nice and attentive, and when you go to their bathroom also no soap?(serious?) and heading out there are the drunk smokers that you have to squish by to get out. Never ever again will i come here.

I had dockside Wakefield on my ban list for a while. I like the Chelsea location: much better. So I thought I’d try it again it’s still very mediocre. I like this location for a few apps and beer that’s about it

I came in here with my girlfriend a few months ago and my expectations were more than met. What a great place. Food tasted amazing, portions were very satisfying. Also a great place to come in and watch a game at the bar. There are many large TVs and major sports events are always on. Definitely coming here again!

Hidden Gem! I love this place, yes it is in dire need of a facelift but if that doesn’t hold up my wait time I will gladly deal with it. Originally a place for me and the boys to get cold draughts after softball games, I started trying their food one hungry night. Wow! I have tried all of their appetizers, I recommend the chili, chowder, and my biggest favorite the Chili Nachos! For meals I would pass on the steak as I would call it «choice meat», but the Burgers can compete with any of the local up-and-coming burger joints in the area. Oh and their best kept secret is their Chicken Fajitas. I would place them first over any of the corporate chains and local authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. No way do they even provide half of the veggies they have. Now they are expanding for a reason people! Keep up the good work Dockside, been a dining member since 2004.

I’ll be honest, I come here for Shannon and Paula. The food is decent(some items are definitely better than others), but it’s the friendly, personalized service that I love. Well, that and the chill of their air conditioning during the HOT summer months! I probably came in three or four times before Shannon would have my drink on the table before I even sat down. And, during the winter, when I had a cough that wouldn’t go away, she switched up my diet soda for hot tea without missing a beat! And Paula always greets me by name and asks how my day is going. They run lunch specials, gift card deals(buy $ 25 and get $ 10 free) and have a great loyalty program. I often think I’m wasting my Dockside dollars by dining elsewhere! ;) Haute cuisine it’s not, but if you’re looking for a good meal for a good price with great service, check out the Wakefield Dockside. P. S. They have Keno and a wide assortment of lottery games. It’s not a draw for me but a lot of folks seem to enjoy it.

Nice town restaurant to grab a bit to eat. Prices are very reasonable, great portions, and the staff is generally friendly. The owner is very public oriented and likes to do his part for the community, which is a rarity these days. They’ve got a nice dining area and a popular bar for the big games. I love the bar menu and the nachos are always a good choice.

Dockside is one of the best in Wakefield All the people who work there are friendly. I’ve never got my order messed up. Whenever I come here, I usually order nachos. There’s a lot of cheese, but the chips can get a little hard. Dockside has a lot of meals on the menu. I recently tried the Dockside burger, and it might be my favorite thing there. It was juicy, flavorful, and very filling. I also reccomend the hot dog. It’s big and filling as well. For the rest of the food, it’s good, but I didn’t find as much wow compared to the burger and hot dog. The pulled pork was good, but could’ve been sliced more. The pizza was decent. The mac and cheese is pretty good, but not the best I’ve ever had. The turkey tips were alright. I also found out that Dockside keeps removing things on the menu. What’s going on? Dockside is great, you’ll always be full walking out.

Oh Dockside, what trouble you have brought me and such delight at the same time. I’ve in the past, came in here as a last stop during a summer night before heading home(with a DD of course). I’ve frequented your dining area as well and you’re A-OK with me. It’s OK for catching a game here, I’ve requested to be sat near a TV a few times in the past and they’ve been very accommodating with turning the volume up and such in the dining area. The bar is full of regulars most importantly and the young adults from the area, mostly Wakefield. but there are some Stoneham-ites and Reading people as well, since Dockside closes the latest. It’s a fun spot, small and dingy, with good staff, a sort of diner feel to it, decent food with a decent price. It is hit or miss here, for me; nothing to love and nothing to hate, a middle of the road establishment.
