I have driven by this place every day since it opened, always meaning to stop. Well, today I actually did and I am glad I did. I pulled up to the window, not really paying attention to the signs. As the guy working there unlocked and unblocked the window, I realized I probably should have pulled around to the other window, but he smiled, said good morning and never let on that I was an idiot. :) Now, I am not into«fru-fru» coffees. Hot and black, period. Being it was morning, I decided to make my first foray into Well-Bean a red-eye. The man proceeded to brew the espresso right then and their, then added it to a steaming cup of good ol’ Joe. As I pulled back onto Capital Blvd and took my first sip, I immediately thought«I hope they have a frequent buyer club» because I will absolutely be back on a very regular basis. By regular, I mean probably every day on my way to work. Well roasted beans, perfectly brewed espresso. Well-Bean has a new fan.

Horrible over priced coffee, and the owner is a real jerk too. Really bad experience I would go somewhere else if you are thinking about going to this shack

The service is always great. The cappuccino is well above average. The price is fair. And I quite like the baked goods I’ve tried! I like a good alternative to Starbucks, which I detest! Totally recommend giving them a try!

I am a big fan of Well Bean although I’m not a coffee drinker. I always get one of their smoothies. Usually I get strawberry, banana, peach. It is very very sweet but tastes really fresh. The people who work there are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If you ever stop on, make sure you ask for one of their sweet potato brownies. They are«healthy» and delicious. The only bad part is they are often sold out

I’m a bit of a coffee snob, but what a pleasant surprise I found in Well Bean! My large caramel macchiato was awesome, and the guy at the window was super nice and friendly… even bright and early in the morning. :-) I’ll definitely be back!

I swung by here because of the good reviews, and while the iced coffee I ordered was solid, I have to say the service wasn’t great. Upon trying to use the 10% off check-in coupon currently being offered, I was informed they wouldn’t honor that because they are now under new management… The woman did give me the discount eventually, but I thought it was poor taste to reject something that was active on Unilocal like that — and that really only saved me about 30 cents anyway. I typically don’t even leave Unilocal reviews, but that left a bad taste in my mouth, so wanted other Unilocalers out there to have that heads-up.

Don’t pass up this little drive-thru coffee spot. It’s good, it’s quick, and have some surprising healthier options. Everyone is so super friendly and they all always have big smiles on their faces. I love getting their organic drip coffee with sugar and hazelnut added. Also, the Sweet Potato Brownies. Oh my goodness I love these things!!! The owner(I think) told me she uses all natural organic ingredients with no preservatives so the brownies have to be refrigerated. The sweet potato is for consistency and flavor. There is raw honey, shredded coconut, and cocoa. I won’t reveal all her secrets, but she did have to play around with the recipe to get it right. The consistency is not your«normal» processed fudgy brownie, but you definitely know what your eating. And if she took the time out to try I’m going to be a big supporter! The first time I had this little brownie I was running errands and couldn’t help but go back for a second one. I hope you’ll show some love and check out this fun little coffee spot!

I had a cup of well bean coffee the other day at a local bakery, although a little weak for me(i’m a, make it strong and put some hair on my chest kinda’ girl, :D) i thought it was still a good cup of coffee.(it was a brew by the pot kind, not a brew by the cup, I would probably use a little more coffee in the pot.) Today I was heading into Raleigh, and decided to swing into the Well Bean Coffee hut and see what I thought about the brew by the cup. And boy am i glad I did! Context: Once upon a time i liked fru fru coffee(a cup of flavored up coffee) But with in the last year or so, I’ve turned into more of a basics kind of girl; coffee, milk and a touch of sugar. Flavoring for me covers up the actual coffee flavor so it doesn’t really matter if the coffee is any good or not, but if you can get a cup of beautifully roasted coffee flavoring is pointless. And so the question is now, what kind of coffee does well bean serve? An excellent cup! I ordered the iced latte with sugar and was not even a little disappointed. The flavor was bold and strong but smooth, and no bitterness, and not even a hint of weakness! It was very impressive. Well Bean is locally owned and locally roasted, and it is an excellent cup of joe, with out the need of any flavoring to fix it up. I even bought a bag to take home and make cold brew with, and can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’ll keep you updated. So in summary, if you’re looking for a cup of coffee that doesn’t need to be smothered in flavors to compensate for the poor quality coffee, with reasonable prices, and a convenient drive thru, then this is the place for you. And the best part, it’s locally owned and operated. So you’re supporting local! Yea! Next time you’re at the intersection of Burlington Mills and Capital 1 look for the Well Bean coffee shack/hut/booth/building thing and pull on in. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll be glad you did! (p.s. you can use your debit/credit card of cash! and they also serve Smoothies. so even if you don’t want coffee, there is an option for you!)

Anyone on a paleo diet knows it’s hard to find quick bites that are paleo friendly. Well Bean is very paleo friendly! I had the Caveman Cooler and it was delicious! I was offered a paleo sweet potato brownie but opted to get that later on to give me an excuse to go back. Friendly staff, great service, and great drinks. Well done, Well Bean!

I love drive-thru coffee shops & Well-Bean did not disappoint. I purchased hazelnut iced coffee. The hazelnut gave it the right amount of sweet without the need of creamer or sugar.
