My friend and I went into Sportive today and had such a wonderful experience. I went in looking for potentially a new ski jacket and ended up with 2 gorgeous jackets due to the most helpful salesperson. Petra was a dream to work with. She helped both my friend and I find perfect jackets (the store has a huge selection of high-​end skiwear). A million thanks Petra — we enjoyed our time with you and will come back to see you the next time we are in Waitsfield.

Do I have to give any stars? 0 stars. Unless you are dressed in the clothes they are selling, prepare to be brushed off as not important enough to be polite to. I had always wanted to pop in this store as it is usually closed when I am in the area, mostly summer. So on a winter day, I saw they were open and decided to breeze in wearing my lowly LL Bean clothing and the sales associate was so insanely rude, mostly by totally ignoring me and also did not feel she had to respond to my bright greeting of «good morning»…I walked in and walked out. Pretentious, overpriced and unoriginal.

Amazing!
The service was fantastic they know their merchandise, and they know the sport of skiing very well. The owner of the shop was delightful, she helped me purchase a new ski outfit, complete with a pair of boots and a warm hat! Originally, I had gone for a new pair of socks! Lovely shop, served warm cider and had a pleasant atmosphere that was quite calming. My favorite store, and I hope to return to it soon for new purchases!

I visited this shop breifly while on vacation at a local ski lodge with family. The salesperson was incredibly rude to us when we misunderstood a poorly labeled price tag and insinuated that we were not high class enough to walk in the door. Don’t bother going in unless you have at least $ 1800 in your pocket and don’t mind dealing with people who think they’re better than everyone else…
Very classy Waitsfield.
