I would recommend this business to anyone needing McLane lawn mower sales or service. 2 workers there went above and beyond to help us with an issue with our mower that was bought somewhere else. When the first employee(did not get his name) answered questions and could see we still needed help, he took us to meet the lawn mower mechanic Lloyd Brown. He answered questions and recommended we bring in the fairly new mower so he could check it out. Ok so as we were getting in the car and he came to get us, asked my mom who operates this mower to show him the steps she goes thru to start the mower. Turns out it was something she did wrong in the starting procedure and not a McLane design issue that was causing exhaust to be heavy and directed towards the operator. I don’t know of any business these days that would care enough to help with an issue that did not involve a sale for them. Worth the drive to Waipahu from Kaneohe even with the rail work to a business that deserves 5 stars *****.Mahalo

Took my push mower to see if it the blades could be sharpened. Pretty old mower and I kinda knew that just sharpening the blades might not be enough. Lloyd took my mower and tried everything in his power to restore it to proper function. He kept me up to date on everything he was trying to do. Unfortunately it couldn’t be saved and Lloyd told me I should probably get a n w one. He was very honest about how much a new one would cost if I ordered one through them since a McLane push mower is not exactly a hot seller. I ended up getting one from the mainland and when I called Lloyd back to tell him, he sounded genuinely happy for me. He even offered to dispose of my old mower since it was inoperable and when I asked how much I owed him for all his hard work, he said I didn’t owe him anything! I will go to these guys from now on with any repairs/services on my lawn mower. Terrific business and great employees!

Keith, who operates the pro shop, is one of the elite bowlers in the state of Hawaii and has vast, in depth knowledge of bowling. He is able to match up a bowler’s style with the proper equipment. Keith also shares his knowledge of bowling fundamentals and how to improve one’s game. I recommend any one who wants to start bowling, recreational people who want to take the next step to really improve their game, and advanced competitors to contact Keith and he will be happy to assist you. They have all the current bowling gear and accessories you will need at reasonable prices. Terrance, Shelly and the rest of their staff are friendly, inviting and provide exceptional customer service!

I needed to buy a trimmer(weed wacker) for our lawn. My husband was using a push mower we inherited from my parents. He said it wasn’t doing the trick and took too much effort. The lawn(weeds) were starting to grow taller than us so I knew it was time to finally get him the trimmer. I had to be realistic though. Buying the wrong one would cause him to not use it because it doesn’t work(i.e. the cheap stuff). And buying the professional gas type not only costs a lot but also requires more maintenance. Considering our lifestyle of needing very low maintenance equipment(since we don’t maintain anything very well), I was looking for something«good» but low maintenance. I ended up at Waipahu Lawn. The friendly and knowledgeable staff there helped me pick out a Worx trimmer. They don’t typically carry a wide variety of smaller battery operated cordless trimmers but knew there is a small market for them — me being one of them! Thanks Terrence and Shelly for all of the help!
