Very small selection of stuff, but delicious ogo, that’s for sure! Hard to find good ogo nowadays, but this place had it. Maybe when they expand their choices, it’ll be someplace to stop by at more often.

The old Kaohu Store has reopened under a new name, new owners, and with a secret weapon in its arsenal, a fresh poke bar.
THE best poke on Maui, per me. And per the staff, they only use fresh fish, never frozen. And my taste buds agree.
Salt ahi poke — Seasoned with salt and mixed with white & green onions. Delicious. The salt flavor is perfect. Not usually a fan of this plain preparation but damn, I’m a fan!
Shoyu ahi poke — Normally my ultimate favorite preparation. Seasoned with shoyu, and mixed with the same white & green onions. Super delicious.
Spicy ahi poke — Holy yum. The king of the three I’ve tried. Seasoned with I believe sriracha & mayo and mixed with tobiko. The perfect amount of spice and salt. BROKE DA MOUTH!!! OMG so perfect with beer. Even better than Oki’s in Foodland Kahului and Takamiya.
Aku poke — Similar in flavor to the salt poke but made from aku rather than ahi, comes mixed with super finely-​shaved kukui nuts, white & green onions.
