I don’t know if it’s just me??? but everytime I go Coffee Bean. maybe they can’t me or they not listening carefully! I have to repeat myself to all the time! I’m just so annoyed if I have to repeat myself! Kinda rushing with my order and I wasnt even done yet I even told the speaker person Earlier had 2 more things. brushed me off to tell me drive forward even though not many cars they take long! don’t understand why i cant get my total til i reach the window… I’m just speaking from my experience. I refuse to go here but my kids love this place!

Lots of bad reviews and I don’t know why. The staff is always pleasant. This place can get busy, so people, slow down and you will get your drink. They know me so well here, my drink is usually started as I walk through the door! Im a creature of habit so that works for me. Thanks ladies for being so awesome!

When I get my order done right, it’s great! I especially love the ice blended caramel frapp & the salmon bagel is LIFE if you like salmon! However the drive through can take a while, & the drinks are almost always inconsistent. I ordered a hot coffee which had coffee grinds all in it. I emailed the company and got a nice response so I’m happy about that. Other than that, I love that place and I keep going back.

My friend & I enjoy getting drinks from here. It’s the nearest place to get coffee if you live in the Wailuku Heights area. Lol. The menu is pretty self explanatory.

This was my first time that I had a horrible experience and any coffee bean. The girl who was taking our order she couldn’t hear clearly. We had to repeat ourselves many times was about leave but my other half was hungry and driving. We ordered PB and banana sandwich but they didn’t have enough to fulfill our order. At least let us know before we drive up to the window!!!

They are consistently out of menu items, and staff is barely knowledgeable about product. Last time I went in drive through girls on speaker sounded like they were high, and were super lame. Its too bad because they have a good menu and coffee is good, but after 6 months of being a customer it is not worth it.

their cap foam is always on point but the wait times YIKES … for an addict like myself, the wait can be interminable and it’s hard not to gulp my entire double cap down as soon as they hand it over. service is ALWAYS friendly and they do their best to get your order right.

Living in Maui means that people do not expect great customer service, the«laid back» lifestyle means that the local employees do not have much of a work ethic. This Wailuku location is muggy and warm and VERY messy, every table is sticky with crumbs all over.

I got here several times a week as I work Night shift in the medical field near this coffee shop. My faves are the chai latte and the matcha green tea. I tried to get a iced tea and when I got it it was still hot with just melted ice in it. Service here is usually slow but the girls are extremely nice and the drinks are really good! Plus you get a punch card which comes in handy

SLOW!!! Consistently slow. Embarrassingly slow. Almost 30min to get two vanilla lattes in the drive thru. At 715 in the morning to start my commute to work, it’s a joke.

I was a Starbucks person but I am now a Coffee bean person! I was really impressed with the Maui Lani Coffee Bean! The girls behind the counter were super friendly. They were genuinely happy and took the time to make eye contact, which makes for a more personal experience! You’ve converted me! Mahalo! Not to mention the coffee is wonderful!

After coming here fairly often and generally having good experiences, ridiculous waiting times aside, I must unfortunately agree with many of the other previous reviewers about this particular location: For speed and accuracy, go somewhere else. I actually prefer this franchise vastly over Starbucks, but this particular Kehalani location can be quite sad at times. I’ve come here and received fast and excellent service given by friendly-enough girls and honestly for the most part, good drinks. They do have a tendency, though, to get little things about my order wrong, but usually not bad enough to make me regret the wait.(Whip when I said no, no whip when I said yes, normal milk when I asked for almond, etc.) But when they are bad, they’re BAD. Near all the times I’ve regretted wasting my time coming to this particular location have been when male employees were working. They tended to forget orders all together, forget to stamp and return my stamp card, make terribly inconsistent drinks, and the worst time of all — when I spent nearly 45 minutes waiting in the drive-thru — not only forgot to take care of my card and give me my free drink, but he also could not for the life of him, not figure out how to give me back my money. He FINALLY got a manager after a while and I was in my way, but not before vowing to myself to: 1) Never use the drive-thru again, and 2) Never bother to go through with a visit if a male employee was working. So far, this has been working out for me — as sexist(against my own sex, hah) as it makes me feel. Overall, I’ve been here enough to decide that my general experience has been«mediocre with a few glaringly bad incidents». Maybe I should give the Wailea location a try, seeing as it has higher reviews, and see if it affects my opinion of this place. It makes me feel as if I must add the disclaimer that this location was my first CBTL experience, so my standards for this franchise are likely lower than others.

Okay. I was hesitant on doing this review because I love CBTL, but this place is horrible. Beyond horrible actually. I thought with time they would improve, but it could just be that they got worse. The workers keep changing, they can’t get orders right, they NEVER know the mojo Monday special(even at 4:30 pm when they’ve had the whole day to figure it out), they incorrectly charge, and give back the wrong change. The worse part is the coffee is awful. This is the last place I’ll go to. I even go to McDonalds before this CBTL, which is sad.

So I’m currently sitting in my car at the drive thru for the past 7 minutes waiting for one single drink watching the people inside the store who seem to be going way faster than the drive thru. I’ve always had a horrible experience at this Coffee Bean it’s either my drink tastes bad or the employee getting my order wrong or the service sucks or it takes way too long! I hate going to this place

The biggest coffee bean and tea leaf I’ve seen yet. Clean as always and friendly staff as always. Love love the ice blended mocha. My son always orders the pure cookies and cream.

Wow — it is very hard to find exceptional customer service on Maui, but the team at this Coffee Bean is phenomenal. As a Starbucks guy, I was not familiar with the menu. Kelli was extremely knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions about ingredients and flavor. She moved us right along and killed the line within minutes! The three baristas were pumping out drinks left and right. Our first drink came out fast. It was the dark chocolate hazelnut, and it was perfectly blended! Our second drink came out wrong. We ordered the white chocolate peppermint but was served a caramel mocha(I believe… either way, it was not what we ordered). Before I could even say anything, Kelli ran over to the bar and apologized. She personally made our white chocolate peppermint and sent us on our way. The mishap seemed so minor because of the team’s fabulous customer service. They treated each guest with genuine kindness which created a really great atmosphere. The store was clean as well! There were no spills on the floors or counters. The sugar/milk bar was shockingly clean; not a single grain of sugar or drop of milk to be seen!

C’mon coffee bean, whats up? Coffee bean and tea leaf has always held a special favor over other coffee establishments over the years. I was also extremely overjoyed when I heard coffee bean was opening just five minutes away from my home. No more going out of my way to get my morning fix of caffine! I’ve visited this location in Kealani several times and the story thus far has always been the same. Ran out of items by 2 o’clock, tables are dirty, wrong orders, you name it. I understand fully they’re a new establishment with new employees so I’ll dismiss the un organized mess. However, how can you run out of certain items by 2 o’clock in the afternoon? I’m ordering tea, can you not find any? Also, your employees are rudely greeting customers and all in all don’t look very happy working there. Makes me not want to order items at all! If I’m going to spend money here, please be friendly. that’s all I ask. On the upside — location is prime because they’re located right next to foodland and american savings bank. Near longs drugs, walgreens, & a gas station. The first coffee bean on Maui with a drive through and there’s always ample parking.

I was ecstatic when I heard that Maui finally opened a drive-thru coffee shop. On two separate visits that my husband and I have made thus far we’ve have been told we’re «OUT» of 2 menu items we wanted to order. Ok, OUT as in Sold Out or too lazy to make more?! I highly doubt by 8:00am they’d be completely out. Make sure if you use drive-thru you have time to spare. The drive-thru service is slow. If you see 2 – 3 cars ahead of you, save yourself time and order inside. As it’s pretty obvious customers who walk-in are serviced before drive-thru customers. Overall, drinks are made well, tasty and refreshing especially in this Hot summer heat!
