junk. $ 9 for about 10 popcorn shrimp on French fries. The fried noodle is not only soggy, but has a weird metallic taste. Waste of belly space. The food took a while, which I normally don’t mind *if the food is good*.

I thought this place had the best fish & chips(but then again it was my first time in Hawaii). I had the mahi mahi(you get a choice of Ono or the Mahi Mahi). It tasted so fresh, crispy and wasn’t too greasy.

Pretty good Ono fish & chips, coconut shrimp average. Great Katsu Udon! Decent prices for area(everything is more expensive in Hawaii vs. mainland USA)

Would give it zero stars if I could. Stay away and then stay away some more. The women working the counter tonight was RUDE and this includes waiting 20 minutes for the food! The food was wrong the first time and when they got it correct the Tempura shrimp was all tempura. One of the worst experiences ever. Go next door to Hawaiian barbecue and get good food in a timely manner.

The fish and chips are very tasty! I also tried the coconut shrimp and I’m happy to say that it was excellent as well. This place is great for a quick meal and the food is fresh and delicious! Next time I’m in town I’m coming back for more! ;-)

* Price: pretty good for the area. $ 10 for a bowl of ramen. $ 12 for loco moco. 4 star * Ambiance: food court. Average. 3 star. * Location: food court of the Queen market. Free parking. Convenient if you stay in this area. 4 star. * Meals: actually not bad for food court. Fish is fresh and tasty. 3+ star. * Service: friendly staff. 4 star. This averaged to 3 ½ star for fast food category! Keep in mind this is a food court joint… not a gourmet restaurant. They have a good selections of plate lunch, ramen, udon, loco moco, salads, fish and chips. The udon and ramen is decent. However, since they are made for all different palates, you might need to add some sriraka and soyu sauce. The fish and chips are pretty tasty and fresh! Despite of the bad reviews, we were glad to try this place. It is a good option for a quick bite in this area without a long wait nor pay an arm and a leg for your food!

Good fish and chips. Nice location looking at the koi in the lake. Good for a quick meal. Would come back again and try the fish tacos that looked great.

Sadly, what my new husband and I had hoped would be some yummy ramen, turned out to be blah in a bowl. Husband ordered the chashu pork ramen, I ordered the tempura ramen, with a side of gyoza. The tempura and gyoza themselves were good, but the gyoza dipping sauce was some weird separated oily sauce, which was just barely edible after I tried to scoop off the layer of oil on top of it. otherwise I would just end up with an oil covered gyoza with none of the actual sauce on it. The noodles were the worst part. I could make it through ok, but my husband hated the gooey strange texture and flavor of these noodles so much he felt like he wanted gag, and said that he felt like they left a weird film on your teeth, which they kinda did. I don’t know what brand of noodles they use, but I would just stay away. The actual soup broth was plain and nothing special at all. The bowl at first glance looks like substantial ingredients, but it’s really not. Service was so-so.

The fish and chips are excellent. So for those that may complain, although all of the food looked good coming out of the kitchen, remember that the name is Fish and Chips! I saw many others eating a variety of the menu items from this mall food court venue and they looked very good. The food is priced according to the location. The only thing that kept this from a higher rating is that the«Tempura» style was not exactly Tempura — close but not quite the same.

Its Two Hōkū(Star) Tuesday again!!! Unfortunately, I found myself at the Queens Shops in Waikoloa. There are limited dining options: Macaroni Grill & Sensei on the higher priced side, and the food court on the lower(?) priced side. Actually, Lemongrass in the food court has the audacity to put a $ 19 item on the menu: Fo realz!!! In any case, this place seemed OK, as far as food courts go. We ordered saimin: One w/steamed shrimp, and one w/tempura shrimp. The prices were $ 13/each. Unfortunately, the food was so bad, I didn’t even bother to take a pic. The noodles were OK, but the broth was weak and there were hardly any ingredients for the price: 2 Stars. The cashier was friendly and nice: 3 Stars. But the food took a while, and it didn’t seem like there were a lot of people waiting for food: 2 Stars. My rec is to stay away from this place, and all the places in the food court if you can. There is better food off Waikloa Rd at Island Lava Java, and you will get more food of better quality.

Didn’t try any noodles but all the fried stuff was spot on. Pricey? Of course, it’s at a resort silly.

After my previous review I had originally decided not to come back. I didn’t; but my Mom did. She ordered a plate of yakisoba noodles — they looked like chow mein — and they were delicious! It was perfectly seasoned and the food had a delightful smokey taste because the wok must have been searing hot, Which is how chinese food is meant to be made. Since my first experience was horrible I could not give them four stars but the yakisoba noodles definitely made up for the bad service last time. The staff were more lively and looked like they were having fun, unlike my first experience with the girl in glasses.
