Waianae Pizza Hut. get ur iish together. we made our order at 5:45pm it said 90mins for del. okay so we waited… checked our delivery status and it said it left the store at 6:54pm.we called twice and they said it was on the road. umm wtf we live like 10 mins away from the store and it shouldn’t take you that long to deliver to our house… Ugh it’s been 2 hours… Ugh…no more. this is the last time i order from Pizza Hut…

Worst delivery times. I ordered 3 times this month first time i ordered they said 45 min delivery time. I ordered and it came literally 1hr 30min later. Second time i ordered they said 50min-​1hr delivery time. I was hungry so i ordered that delivery took 2 hours so my gf called and complained and comped one pizza on them. I called again tonight they literally said 2 hour delivery time i said «never mind no thanks». This pizza hut is so disappointing. Slow, long, and comes cold. Don’t recommend at all.

I always have a great experience with this location, I usually pick up though. I don’t usually write reviews for these types of places, but Joe gave me the best customer service the other night, and all I was doing was picking up some pizza and wings!

The reason I’m giving them 1 star is because I had to call them twice for status on my order. Just when I was about to call for the 3^rd time, the driver calls to tell me he’s at the gate! 33mins late! 7:15 pm, (this is the time they told me my pizza would be delivered and I specifically told them to have them call before they get to the gate because I needed to meet them out there) Didn’t receive no call yet so I called them. I was told they would be here in 5 mins and if not to call back (5 mins is already 5 mins late). I waited 10 mins before I called back (pizza is now 10 mins late) and was told that the driver had just left and would be here in 5 mins??? Which is what they told me 10 mins ago. This time she did not tell me to call back if they weren’t here by then. I’m waiting and waiting 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins pass and now I’m pissed! If today wasn’t Christmas I may have just snapped! As I pick up my phone to call for the third time, my phone rings… Yes it’s the driver… At my gate! 30 mins late! By the time he got to my door it was 7:48pm. My pizza and wings were borderline warm/​cold my soda needed ice, and there was no peppers and cheese! No sorry, nothing! I asked for the total and my receipt, it was $ 41 and some change, I gave $ 42 and he didn’t even ask if I needed change, he asked if I needed to keep my receipt! WTF? No tip! I was furious but could not bring myself to snap on Christmas! I tried calling the store but of course no answer because they closed at 8pm! I would really like to speak to a manager about this, but I will sleep on it and probably feel differently in the morning. Sorry had to vent! Merry Christmas!

Just sat in there for about 30 mins or more and no food. Several other tables that had families larger than 3 members were served their whole meals. All we got was a sorry we forgot your order, after we had to inquire about the status.

So this Waianae Pizza Hut has undergone some major changes since back in the day. I recently ate here INSIDE for once – and it’s been at least 15 years since that has last happened!
So here’s my latest Dine-​In Experience:
Now, I used to come here with my parents when I was little and there used to be a salad bar and a pizza bar with just pizza slices. That was honestly the best thing. I’m sad that it’s gone now.
My girlfriend Trisann and I came here a few weeks ago because she was working down my side for once. We ended up creating our own pizza and I think it was chicken with spinach and other veggies.
We put our order in and in a little while the waitress came back and said they forgot to put the spinach on so she threw some in halfway through the baking process, which was totally fine. I’m super glad she did that and let us know rather than it coming to the table and it being completely spinach-​less. It’s really awesome that she caught the mistake before the pizza even came out. Thank you for that.
Our waitress was really on it that night… like… I think she’s the nicest and most bubbly waitress in all of the Waianae coast. Young girl, cheery attitude and always smiling. She doesn’t actually look like she’s from around here but I don’t want to judge because a lot of different kinds of people live in Waianae.
Delivery Experience:
Gosh. This fall semester, I have ordered from this Pizza Hut at least once a month… and well… twice in one of those months. I got the same delivery driver for the two or three orders I made within days of each other (my latest orders), and he was very professional and nice. I was glad to see that our Wai’anae staff is mature and friendly like that.
As for the food, my pasta and wings have been on-​point every time I’ve ever ordered. Nothing’s been wrong so far, my breadsticks are always fresh and when I do order pizza it’s still pretty hot. All my orders have come in about 40 minutes.
I don’t know why others have had such a horrible time but just know it isn’t always like that. For me, four stars because of the awesome service I received at dinner and the cool driver that always delivers my stuff, as well as the food being pretty much always up to Pizza Hut standards. The only reason I didn’t give 5-​stars is because food service was a little slow in my dine-​in experience, though my girlfriend and I were totally fine with it. We had nothing to do and weren’t in a rush, weren’t angry or anything – these things happen. Unfortunately, though, we were waiting for our dine-​in pizza for a bit longer than I would’ve liked so for now the location lost a star.
Overall though, very good experiences with this ‘Hut all around.

Three star rating from me because the food is usually good except for the one time they over baked my thin-​crust pizza and it was hard as a board and just as tasteless. Otherwise we love the pizzas, pastas and wings.
If I based my rating solely on customer service, there’d be two categories: take-​out counter and dine-​in service. Take out: i’d rate a 4. Always had a pleasant experience just stopping in to pick up my order and go. Dine-​in, on the other hand, would be a 1. Yes, the difference is night and day I know. But after experiencing consistently bad dine-​in service here the last several times, i’m convinced that it won’t be any better the next time (if there is a next time). The tables weren’t cleaned well and I had to wipe off the stickiness with a wet one. There were dead flies on the seat and windowsill, service was slow and servers were just inattentive. The workers are extremely playful and loud and unprofessional. A group of them were sitting on one of the tables and were talking story, laughing loudly, even dancing and swearing like they were hanging out in a bar. Someone was singing obscenely loud from the kitchen and the group would just laugh and laugh not even interested in tending to those of us dining. The constant swearing really boiled my bones though because other than my 2 children, there were other young kids in there. Bottom line is that it is unacceptable. They need training workshops on professionalism and customer service. It’s sad to see this kind of conduct from a big-​name franchise. I hope management reads these and takes action. If we experience this one more time, i’m writing a letter to corporate to address it. Until then, i’m sticking to take-​out or delivery.

Great pizza, just the Hut is supposed to be. We would have loved a local spot with authentic pizza combinations, but we had a pizza craving and Pizza Hut was on the way home. We didn’t regret our pit stop at the Hut

Last night I ordered the dinner box and our pizza was junk it was all bread all dry no taste ever I don’t think I’m ever going to pizza Hut again

Absolutely Ludicrous!!! If I was able to I would strike this location out at a SOLID ZERO STARS!
We ordered a pizza for delivery at 7:00pm after half the household spent the entire day cooking food for an event tomorrow then subsequently cleaning the house and they told us it would be 90 minutes, well 9pm came and went so we called the location back and they said that someone was supposed to call us and tell us that there was a delay.. .and that it would be another two hours out.
WHAT?! You were going to deliver at almost midnight and someone «forgot to call» us? Do you really expect me to believe that? For that matter do you expect me to take that as a valid response?
To cap it off they had the wrong name down, they used the daughter of the person who had ordered’s name for some reason when she had nothing to do with this interaction.
We touched base with the neighbors to complain to them and turns out the same thing happened to them a few days ago, they never GOT their pizza.
We ended up canceling our order, so now everyone is going to bed on nothing but chips and toast.
So thanks, Pizza Hut, I will be writing to corporate about this and I expect you WILL be hearing from them, especially since this isn’t just a one time occurrence.
I would never patronize this location again, or, for that matter order from Pizza Hut’s delivery.
To sum it up.
Bad Staffing, forgetful employees and dumb excuses have netted this location my scalding 1 star review.

Talk about HORRIBLE customer service! My parents, my daughter, and I came in for dinner one night and it was pretty empty. Maybe two other tables occupied.
We waited in the front for about 5 mins until someone finally acknowledged us and sat us down. She didn’t offer us a high chair so I had to find it myself. The table next to us had dirty dishes on it like the family had left not too long ago. But really who knows how long that party left because it just sat there the whole time we were there too.
I’m sure their boss wasn’t working that night or something because everyone was walking around and yelling doing their own thing. We looked at our menus and decided what to get on less than 10 minutes. But we waited about 25 minutes for our waitress to finally take our order.
As we waited, we could hear everyone in the kitchen screaming and laughing and swearing like they were at a party. I could easily tell that there was no supervisor or manager on duty. If there was, they seriously are not doing their job! Playing around and acting very unprofessional when there are dirty dishes and tables in the dining room.
After about 45 minutes we got our food. The meal was good, but we were all already irritated with the employees. Our waitress ignored us after serving our food, and that dirty table still sat there uncleaned while everyone was in the back playing around and making noise.
No tip. Less than impressed. Sticking to delivery.

Husband and I went there for dinner last night. Got there around 8:45 pm and was seated immediately. The AC in the dining area was colder than the take out counter, and it was blowing at a fairly high speed. It was like I was sitting in the produce chiller at Costco. I was wearing a long sleeve but had to put on a heavier jacket just to get warmed up a bit.
Waited for a good 10 minutes before our server showed up. Ordered a medium, thin crust pizza — half with ham & olives, other half with sausage & mushrooms; 10 piece traditional chicken wings with mild sauce on the side; and 2 drinks.
What seemed like an eternity (15 – 20 minutes), our food arrives.
Since when did their thin crust pizza had «walls»? From previous orders, I remembered them to be flat with no «walls». Anyway, took a bite & it was a bit dry like they just put a very, very light swirl of tomato sauce. The crust wasn’t as crisp; maybe it would’ve been had they brought it to our table when it was hot.
The chicken wings had sauce all over it, NOT on the side as I had requested. To make it worse, their mild sauce tasted more like a watered-​down BBQ sauce. Disappointing.
Our server did not once come by to check if we needed anything, or even ask how the food was. They were all at the counter busy talking to one another, but couldn’t even make time to check on us or the other customers dining in.
By the way, when we first sat down, there were a few tables that had not been cleaned up (plates, glasses, etc.) after previous customers. When we were leaving, it was still that way.
Needless to say, this Pizza Hut has gone downhill. Next time I’ll just go across the parking lot to Little Caesers. At least I know I won’t have to wait an eternity for my food.

If I could give this pizza Hut no stars, I would. The customer service is extremely bad. My sister went into the pizza Hut and was told she couldn’t leave her bags on the side. Two employees were giving my sister dirty looks and when my sister asked if they had a problem, one of the girls by the name of Stephanie told my sister that she was lucky that she was working and that she was going to call her brother to kick her ass. IT IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE TO THREATEN A CUSTOMER AND THIS WORKER SHOULD BE FIRED!!! Shame on Pizza Hut for allowing this behavior. I will never patronize this pizza hut.

Good fresh pizza. We had a veghie special on thin crust. Pasta not bad either. Good service.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!!! 2 hours for 2 medium pizza’s, UNACCEPTABLE! Soggy pizza box with cold pizza inside. Obviously pizzas were not accepted. Nice job ‘Pizza Hut’ another unsatisfied customer. NEVER AGAIN! #fail #pizzahut #delivery #pizza (one star because zero is not an option)

Delivery service is inconsistent. Ya just never know if it’s going to be a good or bad day (product wise) but service wise I think they’re pretty good. The current female manager is rather responsive so that’s what matters in the end when you have an unhappy customer.

Ran by children, poor service and attitude food is always late on phone orders for take out.
If you see «Kaitlin» better check your pizza. She tends to add «extra» unwanted toppings to your pizza if you ask her how much longer it’ll be for your order.

Lousy crappy place ran by immature teenagers
They didn’t honor a nationally advertised ad for «Any pizza for $ 10» claiming it’s only available on the mainland. When I pointed to the big sign on their window they said that that offer expired and that they will remove the sign «tonight».
I went to an other pizza hut in Kapolei and had the $ 10 deal. When I asked them they said the deal is sill going on and is available in all U.S. states.
Cheap shot to scam a tourist.

I remember when they still had the buffet. That was the place to be on a Friday afternoon if you wanted to get your pizza grub on. Aaah, sweet memories.
Get past the fact that this Pizza Hut is directly across from the sewage treatment plant and it’s a-​ok, just don’t eat outside!
The food from this place hasn’t been any worse or any better than any other Pizza Hut I’ve ever been to, or picked up pizza from. However, eating in was pretty lackluster. Sticky tables, poor lighting, not enough staff and music that was too loud inside. It’s kind of like a speakeasy but with pizza.
If you’re in Waianae and you want some typical Pizza Hut pizza stuff, this is the place to go. I’d order for pick up though.
