What can I say? I love this pizza place. I mean I have been coming to Waco for almost 10 years, and although Papa Rollos is yummy too, I just can’t choose which one I like better. Rosati’s just has a slightly fresher taste to it. Now they are a little pricier than Papa Rollos but I enjoyed the pizza. It was crisp, fresh, and I could taste every ingredient on it. Not too greasy either.

Pizza was good but not great and a little expensive for what you get. Pizza Hut pizza is Joette.

****Update*** we have ordered several times since the original bad experience and had exceptional pizza, service and over all experience! ****** i just ordered a pizza for Friday night pizza and a movies. Each time we order a pizza we order ½ Meat Mania and ½ Rosati’s Monster. the total price of the speciality pizza is $ 24.70 however inevitably we are charged $ 32.70. Every time they over charge us by $ 8.00z. As soon as I call them on it they immediately correct it. Gimmick! Tonight the pizza was delivered and it wasn’t ½ and ½ it was 2 – 3 covered in veggies rendering a good portion of the pizza inedible. So I called the store and Mattie answered. When I asked to speak to a manager she wanted to know why. I told her she said, «okay, let me get her». Haley answers and informs me that she talked to the kitchen staff and the pizza was made right. Haley continues to say that it’s hard to tell the ingredients part. What? Can’t tell the difference between pepperoni and a mushroom? Wth? Then I told her I had the pizza in front of me and it wasn’t made right. Wait for it… She replied, «you will have to bring it back up here for proof». Are you serious? Save your family time and aggravation. This place won’t be around long with ignorance like that. Did I mention the pizza was $ 43.00 delivered? Finally a real manger Chris got on and after a few jabs offered to discount the pizza(not the delivery fee). We settled on a small meat mania pizza. Last time. Fool me once…

I love the pizzas here. But I like their lunch special even more. For $ 5.99 You can get a lot of food. I get their double wide slice of pizza of the day and spaghetti with meat sauce for a buck more. The meal comes with a garlic toast. Addendum: You know why I REALLY like this place? It has the feel of a sports bar where the servers make you feel very welcome and comfortable.

Poor customer service, I called about catering and never received a call back. Tried to meet with owner about catering, he didn’t have time to meet with me. I called on another restaurant to cater my party. Im not going to beg them to take my money

Absolutely amazing Chicago Pizza and cannoli! We had it delivered and the freshness of this was unbelievable. Great job on speediness and execution of our dinner and dessert; we will order from here again!

Ordered dinner. Burger with side salad and wings. They forgot the salad, drove all the way home, no salad. Burger had no condiments on it, nor did they put any on the side. Burger was over cooked and dry. Wings weren’t good either. Won’t order from there again. When I think of all the options I had, & I wasted my money on this!

Good Chicago pizza, fun atmosphere, good service. Be prepared for 30 minute wait for the deep dish Chicago. Great pasta and hot sandwiches too. It’s as close to Chicago as you can get in Waco

Really not a fan. Too much crust, which is also very flavorless. They also smash all their toppings together to where you can actually peel the entire top layer of the pizza off. Don’t even think about ordering pasta. It’s not fresh, sauce is canned, and to top it off everything is expensive. Bleh.

Can i leave zero stars? Drunk old and i mean old locals fed beer after beer arguing and still fed more beers, i felt like i was in a dive 3.2 bar for down and outs, the next table were friends of i guess the young manager they were dropping f bombs two to every half sentence i decided this was not my place to have a nice Sunday pizza and chill. I asked to change the order to go, instead i should have walked, I recommend drive a bock farther and go to pappa rollos. Nice people and better food. The franchisor should pull the franchise. Or at least the liquor license and get new management

Bland pizza with too much crust, not enough sauce and lacking any real flavor. Would rather eat Little Caesars. Will not visit again.

I’m not sure how there are so many great reviews. I’ve tried this place 4 times and can never find anything out of this world. It’s all mediocre food and I find everything very greasy. Just tried chicken Alfredo and was very disappointed. It was bland and the chicken tasted like it had been frozen before. So bummed.

It is with a heavy heart that I update my previous 5 star review to 3 stars. It’s a sad day for this Chicago girl. I used to travel to Waco for my job — a lot. So, I was delighted to discover a real Chicago pizza place in Waco of all places. I got to know the owner who was also from Chicago and this became my outlet for genuine Chicago pizza. I ate here often. Fast forward a few years and I would make the drive from Austin on occasion when I was really craving pizza or stop when I happened to be driving through Waco and they were open. Time has passed since my last visit. 3÷21÷15 — we make the 85 mile drive to Rosati’s from Austin because I had been craving real pizza. I’m so excited. We order our food & it’s ok. My pizza started out great, but got a bit soggy as it cooled off & the cheese wasn’t magical as it was before. He was not impressed with his Italian Beef or pasta & Italian sausage. Not horrible, not great. Just ok. I had to know what happened to this once amazing spot. So, I asked the server if Pete still owned the place. Nope. Sad. Sorry, but someone who’s not from Chicago is not going to know what this food is supposed to be like to the degree that makes it Chicago fabulous. Huge disappointment. As I said, it’s ok, but this Chicago girl will no longer make the trek from Austin for this. It’s only as good as the other stuff in TX. No better, no worse. And that breaks my heart. :’(

Pizza is too variable. When it is made correctly, it is delicious. When it is made incorrectly, there is hardly any cheese and an excess amount of sauce. It is unpredictable what type of pizza will arrive with a given order. Given the price they charge, their pizza should be of predictable quality every time.

Some of the best deep dish pizza I’ve ever had!!! Our waitress Jennifer was incredible! I can’t say enough about the service and food here. You defiantly get to experience some local goodness here.

Great customer service — it was a Saturday night, Baylor football game on. As soon as we walked through the door they told us to sit anywhere, waitress came right up to give us menus. Ordered the Chicago deep dish and she explained it takes longer to bake. The pizza amazing — big pieces of sausage, lots of toppings, everything fresh tasting. So glad we drove up from Temple for authentic Chicago-style pixza.

Stopped in here instead of Jimmy John’s, which neighbors Rosati’s, to grab a decent bite to eat and watch the Niners lose(wishful thinking). I had the urge to turn around and exit the premises post-haste when the staff behind the counter didn’t bother to look up from their cell phones to greet us, seat us or tell my buddy and I to seat ourselves. Unfortunately this did not deter us, since the game was playing. I wish I’d listened to my instincts. The service started out well enough, but after we got our food it was like hailing a cab in NYC to get our drinks refilled. Our less than enthusiastic responses never seemed to phase her when the waitress bothered to walk by, without stopping, and ask if everything was ok. Industrious of her. Oh, and the food… If you’re familiar with Italian food in the least bit, please, avoid the lasagna like the plague. I’m not joking when I say that I’ve had better lasagna from the frozen food section of wally world. The top layer of pasta was over cooked and leathery. The sauce tasted like it was fresh… out of the can, ragu style. The lasagna itself, other than the sauce poured on top, was as dry as the breadstick. The value was horrible at $ 11, quality notwithstanding. No side included, unless you can call one microwaved breadstick a side. Well, at least the Niners lost… err, damn, nm… Should’ve gone to Jimmy John’s.

STAYAWAY! Order food to not have to wait. The young teenager taking my order was completely rude correctly the way I pronounce items which I was actually correct. Then complain to me about being on the wrong website which I was on the right website. When I got there she rolled her eyes at me. Then she took my order wrong. I ended at McDonald’s cause they better customer service

Had pizza delivered to my motel. It took an hour. The pizza was was hot and prepared the way I ordered. The crust was chewy in my opinion. The cheese was poor quality. It had little flavor and no stretch to it. Kind of rubbery. Over all the pizza was not what I expected for the price($ 25 for a large with a two liter) Also this is a little thing but it bothered me enough to type it. The pizza was cut weird. Instead of cut into slices it was cut into random triangle pieces.

Ordered an everything pizza delivered on a Friday afternoon, a couple of weeks ago, not during the rush time, Chicago style. It took an hour and a half and when it arrived it was cold, and burnt. Called the owner/manager to give him some feedback, No apology was offered, Indicated he would call me back, and no offer to replace the pizza. He said it was during the busy time and he would call me back. He never did. I had ordered pizza twice before, once In the restaurant, and one delivery, and it was great. Disappointed in product, and service.
